Tell us a little bit about yourself

I'm a wife, mom of 4 and a teacher. My love of writing has basically taken over in the last year and I can't turn it off. I'm so glad that there is a site like Wattpad where I can share what I love with others who love it as well!

What genre do you write in? Why are you drawn to the genre? 

I'm mostly a young adult writer, but I am branching out into fantasy as well. I'm pretty sarcastic so that is usually an element as well.

What is your most memorable moment on Wattpad?

July of 2016 I watched as my first story hit 1k and was in awe. It was exciting to see that people were reading it!

Do you think that writing on a platform such as Wattpad has helped you growas a writer?

I have grown so much on this site! I can see the development most clearly through the various challenges and contests that I have participated in.

What advice can you give to those that are just starting out on theironline writing journey?

Do it! The only way to become a better writer is TO WRITE!! Take criticism as a complement because someone took the time to make suggestions on how to improve.

What books have most influenced your life most?

The Lord of The Rings, Jane Erye, The Witch of Blackbird Pond.

Recipe Name: Artichoke Dio

Is there a special story behind the recipe? If so can you tell us a little bit about it?

This is a family favorite and much requested appetizer

Ingredients:

1 brick of cream cheese

1 cup of mayonnaise

1 can of artichoke hearts (in water, chopped and drained)

1cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon Worcester sauce

Directions

Mix cream cheese and mayo, stir in artichokes, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder and Worcester sauce. Pat into baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden and bubbly. Serve with pita triangles, tortilla chips or your favorite crackers.

Wow! What an easy recipe. Just remember... don't double dip ;-)
