Question 1: What first drew you to Wattpad?

MB: I think the first time I heard about Wattpad was when Beth Reekles was on the today show. I made an account and read a few things but I went away for about a year before I came back to read Loki fanfics and werewolf books. It wasn’t until Lori Goldstein told me about a contest she was running on Wattpad that I started writing on the site, and I was immediately addicted after I posted my first thing.

Question 2: What is your favorite genre to write in and why?

MB: I love to write science fiction mostly because of Expiration Date.

Question 3: Where do you find inspiration for your writing?

MB: Books, movies, tv shows. Activities that I might go and do. Really anywhere.

Question 4: If you watch movies, what is your favorite film of all time?

MB: I really love La La Land, but I am also in love with Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. I’ve watched and read Pride and Prejudice so many times, and have even read the vampire version (Pulse and Prejudice by Colette L. Saucier) so I loved this take on it a lot. The casting had a lot to do with it.

Question 5: What is your writing process like?

MB: I think of the idea for the next scene and turn it over in my head, and then I sit down and write it. Sometimes I listen to music.

Question 6: Do you have any advice for people who would love to become writers?

MB: Read a lot, because if you take a break from reading you forget what a book is supposed to look like when you’re writing.
