Editor's Letter
A big hello from me and Obi-Wan!
Welcome to Wattmag's eighth issue - and the second for 2017.
I hope the new year has been treating you all well and if not, I hope this issue of Wattmag can distract you from all that is going on in the world right now. (Too much politics can give me a headache)
An advanced apology to all my romance-haters out here because as well all know, Valentine's Day is right around the corner and things are about to get all lovey-dovey in this issue. If you're into that kind of thing, I can already tell you're going to enjoy this issue.
However, if you're more like me and struggle writing any scene that resembles characters showing emotion towards each other, this issue will also be good for you! We've got some awesome articles that will teach you how to write a good romance and characters that we'll all be able to relate to. dalainasdreams wrote a great article on writing a "Book Boyfriend" that readers are likely to swoon over and gabycabezut shared stories of others who had cute valentines day experiences (you should seriously check it out, I was audibly going "aww" the whole way through). TeaceFindlay wrote "Couples Therapy" which is an article on how to make a couple work while StonyRhodes shared a story of running into an old flame. I could seriously sit here and name every article in this issue but I probably shouldn't so you can go ahead and actually start reading them - but trust me, all the content in this issue is on point!
But it's not all romance over here at Wattmag! We're also tackling some other things like how to organize your writing space with ajwinterbooks who was even kind enough to share photos of her layout and get very specific with it all. We also have CCGillings who will be debating the pros and cons of reading an actual paperback VS an ebook. Let the debate begin!
Without a doubt, the Wattmag content isn't lacking this month. So no matter what you're into, I'm sure you'll find something in this issue that you'll enjoy. I wish you all an awesome February and I'll catch you in my next editor's letter!
