Whenever I select books to review, I always try to look for something everyone else seems to enjoy, and then once I've taken a few looks I decide if it is a book that I want to write about. I'll be the first to admit that when I had compiled my choices for this month's submission I wasn't exactly sure that I would choose The 12th Kiss by Enterintomymind. I don't normally enjoy plots that have the everyday cliche realism as their main story, but I've I started to read I couldn't put my phone down. This book is a wonderfully written tale of love, loss, betrayal, mistakes, secrets, and marriage.

Tallara, the author, based this story on the real-life trials and tribulations of a married couple. From experiencing the heartbreak first hand she able to weave a story of literary greatness. Her main because characters consist of the typically untypical Hamington family. The broken but caring mother, Metilda. The unfaithful and egotistical father, John. The sweet, innocent and hopeful child, Louis.

A marriage that has long since been deteriorating has finally come to a head, and with a secret to keep Metilda does her best to keep her family together for the sake of her son's happiness. While chaos and sinful acts of betrayal brew, nothing opens up John's eyes to his wrong doing - until someone he loves is held at gunpoint. A deal is struck, and twelve kisses will not only determine the fate of their marriage but the fate of their son.
