I've got an addiction to Fanfiction. 

Whether reading it or writing it, you have to admit that Fanfiction is an obsession. The urge to re-imagine a story, TV show, comic, movie, book or celebrity can be so compelling.

Although the good doesn't come without some problems. There have been arguments of fanfiction not being real literature because of copyright issues and changing the creator's story without permission.

Everyone has a right to an opinion and in my own, I think that fanfiction is definitely real literature. Fanfic writers are inspired by the original work and go on to show how much they love it by evolving the work into something different.

Before Wattpad, I read and wrote on fanfiction.net and livluvcreate. My cousin was the one who told me about it because he reads Naruto fanfics and I soon became obsessed with the stories I read online and wanted more. Now Wattpad is a part of my life and I'm such a fangirl!

The urge to write and read about alternate scenes, new characters, universes, romances, friendships, and crossovers puts you in a mindset of "what if" - wishful thinking. It really is an addiction! It has your mind wandering off into a million different places. 

The Imagines celebrity anthology that was released earlier this year by a group of awesome Wattpaders was such a feel good and inspiring book. The authors created short fanfiction stories, where you were the main character. They made it so you were the one meeting your favorite celebrity in all sorts of different situations. It was a really inclusive and fun book to read!

The fact that we can create different worlds from the ones we're given in literature and entertainment is fascinating. It keeps the story going for us! If you love to write fanfiction, let your imagination run wild. If you love reading it, let your obsession go free.
