you have no idea who you're dealing with

"GOOD MORNING, as you all know, Mr. Harris is still missing — I mean, sick. Anyway, I'm filling in while we all hope and pray for a more qualified substitute to take my place," Ms. Blake announced, and Hope narrowed her eyes at the teacher. "Okay, so, let's get started, shall we?" She turned to write something on the chalkboard.

Klaus tilted his head, not trusting the woman, just like how his daughter clearly didn't.

Stiles leaned to his right, moving closer to Hope and Scott, and whispered, "Hey, my dad said that the ER attending wasn't strangled, but did die from asphyxiation. They just don't know how."

"Do you think the on-call doctor could still be alive?" Scott wondered, his thick eyebrows furrowing.

"I don't know," Stiles replied, his voice getting lower as he moved closer to Hope. "But, guys, there's got to be at least twenty other doctors in that hospital. At least, you know?"

"Any one of them could be next," Hope added, and then her eye widened when had immediately thought of Melissa.

"No! Not Mama McCall!" Caroline shouted, jumping up from her seat.

"Mama McCall?" Jen asked with a head tilt.

"Scott's mom," Bonnie simply explained with a small smile, still wondering who the hell the girl is and why exactly she's important to everyone.

Scott opened his mouth to speak but his phone in his pocket vibrated, so he scrambled to pull it out. He ducked his head under the table, answering it in a hushed whisper. "Hey, Doc. Sorry, I'm in class right now. Can I call you back later?"

Hope and Stiles could only hear the teen wolf's replies.

All of a sudden, Scott's voice was rising slightly in panic, "Doc, Doc, Doc, Doc, what' s happening?"

"What's wrong?" Hope asked, her brows furrowed in worry.

"I think Deaton's going to be taken." Without a second thought, Scott was packing his items, preparing to leave the school as quickly as possible.

"Oh no!"

Hope scrambled for her things too, not allowing him to go on his own.

Ms. Blake yelled after them, saying that she will give them detention, but Hope rolled her eyes, gave the older woman a glare, and slammed the classroom door shut.

Kol smirked. "That's my niece!"

BY THE TIME the duo arrived at the animal clinic, it was already too late. A grave look was on Sheriff Stilinski's face as his head turned immediately to the sound of the door opening.

MG swallowed thickly, "I don't like this."

Scott panted as he entered the clinic, but froze in his place when he noticed Sheriff Stilinski and his deputy, Tara, standing in the middle of the room.

Hope reached over and grabbed Scott's hand, and squeezed it. She knows what it's like to lose someone close to you, so she understands his pain. But, it's worse for him because Deaton could be alive and suffering.

"How did you know?" Scott breathed out as the officers faced them.

"Stiles called me as soon as you two left school," Noah explained, and Hope nodded, taking in a deep breath. "I'm sorry. Your boss' car is still here."

Hope felt Scott's body begin to sway backwards, stumbling back until he sunk into a chair against the wall.

Caroline frowned. "I feel so bad for him. Deaton is like his father fugure."

Hope sat down beside him, and pulled him into a hug, running her long fingers through his hair. "I'm here for you, Scott."

Noah looked between them and looked down. "The back door was wide open." When Scott looked up at him, he said, "I need you to tell me everything."

Elena smiled, "you just know that he's happy he called Melissa in to take care of Hope. He can see how much good that was for her."

Caroline nodded. "It was the best move he could've made."

Scott and Hope looked toward each other, their looks sharing all the secrets that they have been keeping from the Sheriff.

Caroline gasped before frowning, "do you think Noah will find out about the supernatural soon?"

Bonnie shrugged, chewing on the inside of her cheek. "I mean... probably seeing as his son is connected to it."

IT WAS MINUTES later when Stiles found himself at the scene of the crime, and the three teens watched silently as Stilinski and his deputy searched the compound.

The Darach was able to outsmart them, leaving no trace that an actual crime had been committed.

Stiles leaned his back against the wall with his hand down at his side, but grazing Hope's every few seconds.

Jen scrunched her face up, "aw..." she droned in an almost bored tone.

Lizzie snorted.

Sheriff Stilinski's hand clamped atop of Scott's shoulder. "All right, we're gonna do everything we can. Right now, the best thing you can do is go back to school."

Scott nodded and Noah then backed away and over toward Tara.

Scott's eyes flickered between Hope and Stiles before nodding toward the back room of the clinic. They nodded and followed him to the back room.

Once the door was shut, the three looked toward one another, Stiles and Hope completely clueless on what Scott wanted.

"We have to tell him."

Raising a brow, Stiles spoke up, "You mean, like, tell him, tell him? Or tell him something else that isn't telling him what I think you want to tell him?"

Jen tilted her head, "that makes sense."

"It does?!" Caroline exclaimed before apologizing in her volume. "It does?" She repeated in a quieter tone.

Jen just shrugged. "Yeah."

Caroline blinked and then turned to make eye contact with her two best friends. "What the..."

Elena shrugged, giggling, "I like her."

Damon nodded to, pulling Elena's hand up to press a kiss to her knuckles. "Me too."

Caroline sat there, mouth agape. "She's a stoner."

Elena laughed, "you're acting like we never smoked weed in my basement before."

The blonde pursed her lips, tilting her head side to side before shrugging. "Fair enough."

"You know what I mean," Scott interjected, shaking his head at his friend.

Stiles pursed his lips. "You remember how your mom reacted? She didn't look you in the eye for, like, a week."

"And she got over it," Scott counter quietly, and Hope nodded, remembering the relief that went through her when Melissa finally opened up to her and Scott. "And — And it actually made us closer."

Caroline swallowed, thinking back to her father and how he still hasn't spoken one word to her since he found out about her.

Stiles shook his head softly, his eyes locked on his father's figure through the small window on the door. "I don't know, dude. I mean, look at him. Come on, he's completely overwhelmed as it is."

"He's overwhelmed because he has no clue what's happening," Scott countered, "He's got people dying in his town, the town he's supposed to protect. And it's not his fault that he doesn't know what's happening. He's gonna find out sooner or later."

Bonnie licked her lips. "He's got a point, to be honest."

Hope looked down. She knew they needed to tell Noah because it always helps to have someone in the station to help cover things. It's just like how they have Matt in the office back in Mystic Falls — even though the human was annoying and didn't know how to handle things properly. She remembers him threatening to kill everyone at the school if someone else ended up dead in town.

Everyone that knows Matt, paused.

"He what?" Alaric's eye twitched.

Elena frowned and tensed at the thought of her friend, of her ex boyfriend hating the supernatural so much he threatened to kill a bunch of kids that don't know better.

How could he?

Klaus growled. "If he as so much looks at my daughter in the wrong way... I will squeeze his head until it explodes. And then use his blood as paint."

A few people gave him looks, but others were nodding in agreement.

"Ooh, I like that," Jen complimented, her eyes pink as she snacked on an edible brownie. "I'm going to use that threat now."

"You don't paint, Jen," Ben said with a fond eye roll.

She shrugged. "So what?"

Lizzie snickered.

"He has a point, Stiles," she spoke up and he scoffed at her in disbelief. "But... is now really the right time?" She countered, turning to Scott, knowing that Stiles also has a point.

Stiles' didn't want to get his dad to dragged into the supernatural world like they have. He would be putting the only parent he had left in danger.

Elena smiled sadly, relating to Stiles. She didn't want to get Jenna involved because she was the only parent figure she had left for a while... and look how that turned out.

"What if not telling him now gets someone else killed?" Scott pondered, staring his best friend in the eyes,

"What if telling him gets him killed, huh?" Stiles countered. "I mean, okay, look, I get that Deaton's been like a father to you. I get that, okay? But this isn't - Scott, this is my actual father. I can't..." Stiles paused, looking toward the ground as he tried to recollect his bearings. "I can't lose both of my parents, all right?" Stiles managed to breath out, his voice soft as he glancing toward Hope, knowing that she understood the feeling. "Not both of them."

Hayley wiped away a fallen tear, feeling bad for not only her daughter, but Stiles. They have both been through so much, they understand each other more than most would. They're perfect for one another.

Elena wanted to squeeze both Hope and Stiles in a tight hug and never let them go.

Hope gulped, looking down at the floor as she wrapped her arms around her stomach. She closed her eyes, trying to push away the memories of her parents as they came rushing to the forefront of her brain. Images of them laughing, of them giving her kisses, hugs, and playing with her hair.

"No, this isn't fair," Caroline cried silently. Her parents are still alive, albeit her father hates what she is and will never speak to her again, but she understands what Hope is feeling. And it hurts her heart. No one should be without their parents, especially if they're loving and caring.

Freya glanced over at a saddened Hayley and Klaus. Knowing that her brother wouldn't want her sympathetic touch, she instead reached over to place a hand on Hayley's. "We might have a chance to change things when we get out of here."

The author was in the darkness, tapping their fingers on their desk as they thought things through.

"You're right."

Stiles closed his eyes and sighed. "No, I'm not. I'm not right. I'll tell him."

"We'll help you," Hope promised, knowing that her and Scott would be able to convince Stilinski with their supernatural abilities.

The three of them hesitantly turned to face the door, opening it only to reveal the last person any of them expected to see. Marin Morrell, the emissary for the Alpha pack, standing in the center of the clinic. She was speaking to Sheriff and Tara, regarding the disappearance of her brother.

Klaus narrowed his eyes. "Don't trust her."

Rebekah rolled her eyes at her brother and his inevitability to trust others. But... she agreed. Why was Morrell there?

"Please, whatever you need, however you can help find my brother," Morrell assured with a small smile.

"BROTHER?!" Caroline screeched before quickly covering her mouth and looking sheepish. "Sorry," she squeaked out with a small smile.

Bonnie chuckled fondly at her best friend.

The teenagers glanced at one another in confusion, and Stiles quirking up a brow as Stilinski excused himself, leaving just the four of them in the clinic.

Morrell's gaze fell upon the three teenagers, her eyes hardening as she made her way over to them, "Listen closely, all of you. No sheriff, deputy, or detective is going to be able to find him."

"You don't have to ask us for help," Scott pointed out.

"Actually, I'm trying to help you." Morrell revealed and then turned to Hope. "Your powers won't help you because he had been blocked with something powerful. And because of that, if you're going to find my brother, then you need to use the one person who might actually have the ability to seek out the supernatural."

Hope's eyes widened in realization and her lips parted slightly. "Lydia."

"Lydia?" Lizzie tilted her head.

HOPE FOUND HERSELF standing in Harris' classroom with Stiles, Lydia, and Cora who they found harassing Lydia over Aiden.

"A Ouija board?" Lydia asked in disbelief, watching as Stiles slammed the board down on a desk in front of them.

"I'm sorry... what?" Lizzie snickered.

"Of course he would pull out the Ouija board?" Kaleb rolled his eyes with a grin.

"I would too," MG perked up a little with a smile.

"Also called a spirit board," Stiles added, setting up the board and the piece which would connect them with the spirits on the other side. "And it's worth a shot."

"A shot in the dark," Lydia replied, glancing toward Hope, who was sitting between her and Cora. The tribrid might like Cora, but she threatened one of her best friends which wasn't a smart move because she's territorial.

Klaus smirked. "Comes with being a wolf."

Hayley nodded. "Once you find a pack, it's hard to let them out of your sight."

"Would you just try it, please, okay?" Stiles insisted. "Let's not forget who this is for. Scott's boss, the guy who has saved our collective asses on more than one occasion."

"Okay, so do we all do this?" Cora questioned, her finger circling around the board.

"Yeah," Stiles answered with uncertainty, so he looked towards Hope for help, and she nodded. He sat up straighter and nodded. "Yeah."

"I like how he looks to her for confirmation or help," Bonnie smiled.

"Me too," Josie nodded.

With that, all four of them placed their hands on the center piece, and Stiles glanced between all three of the girls. "You guys ready?" He asked as Lydia looked completely done with the entire theory.

"Yeah," the strawberry blonde muttered, pursing her lips as she looked down at the board.

Cora rolled her eyes. "Yes."

Stiles licked his lips, staring down at the board, "Where's Dr. Deaton?"

They all continued to stare down at the board, waiting for a long moment in anticipation to see if anything were to happen.

Cora, Hope, and Stiles' eyes slowly looked toward Lydia, the strawberry-blonde oblivious to the fact that they were staring at her.

"She's so oblivious, it's cute," Elena giggled.

Damon rose a brow as he glanced down at her. "Cute? Huh?"

She smiled up at him, eyes shining with love.

It was then that Lydia's eyes widened, the girl glancing back and forth between the three of them as she realized that they were looking at her.

"What?" Lydia asked, looking between them for an answer.

"Cute," Caroline nodded in agreeing with Elena's earlier words.

"Aren't you gonna answer it?" Stiles asked, nodding his head toward the board.

Lydia's eyes danced around for a few moments, "Oh, I don't know the answer. I - I thought we were asking some sort of spirit."

"Well, do you know any spirits?" Cora questioned, trying to figure out how much the girl knew.

Lydia glanced over at Stiles in question, her eyebrows furrowing as she pointed a finger over at the Hale in the room. "Is she for real?"

Hope pursed her lips, trying to not smile at how adorable Lydia looked.

Lizzie stared at the group on the screen, feeling like some sort of jealousy at the scene. The group of teenagers act like actual teenagers even if they're going through something, and she wishes she could be like that. It's like she's always competing with herself, always trying to watch her tone, how she holds herself. She glanced at her sister, swallowed thickly, and slouched in her seat. Is it bad she wants to somehow be in the screen with Hope and the others?

Stiles groaned, digging through his pocket, tugging out a set of keys. "Okay, these are Deaton's keys for the clinic. Close your eyes, and I'm gonna put them in your hand, and then we're just gonna try and see if you can feel out for his location."

"It's called psychometry," Hope added, trying to help as much as she could. For once, she is useless; it was true, the tracking spell she used to try to find Deaton moments ago didn't work. It was like a barrier was set up around him, blocking off any and all magic. The tribrid has never heard of anything like it, so it was bothering her.

Freya frowned and tilted her head. "That shouldn't be possible."

"Well, it's a different universe, right?" Ben asked as he glanced at the older blonde Mikaelson. "That much I have gathered." When Freya nodded, he nodded back. "So things are different there, like different frequencies."

Freya slowly nodded, still frowning. "Makes sense."

Pointing toward her auburn friend, Lydia pointed out, "I'm not a psychic."

"You're something! Okay?" Stiles shouted, throwing out his hands, and his eye twitches. "Just - Lydia, put out your hand and—"

Lydia sighed, allowing her head to fall back and closing her eyes before sticking her hand out. Stiles held the keys above her palm, the metal jingling softly as he set them down in her hand. Lydia's shoulders flinched slightly, letting out a hum as the metal touched her skin.

"What?"

Lydia began to play with the set of keys with her fingers, "They're cold."

Stiles lurched forward slightly, looking completely done with Lydia Martin at that point.

Hope couldn't help it as she snorted loudly. When Stiles turned to her with narrowed eyes, she pursed her lips to keep from grinning. But, her lip kept pulling her from one corner. And even though Stiles was annoyed with Lydia, he couldn't help but find Hope adorable from trying to not laugh at the situation.

Jen watched the duo on the screen, frowning. "They're so cute it makes me want to get higher."

Lizzie snickered. "No for real, though."

Jen glanced back at her and then held up a pot brownie. "Want one?"

Lizzie stared down at her, really wanting to, but she's kind of scared of losing control. If she lets herself relax too much, her powers get too overwhelming.

"Reminder, powers can't hurt anyone in this space," the author stated, startling everyone. It's like the author knew every thought Lizzie was having.

The blonde siphoner took in a calming breath before nodding and sliding onto the floor, moving over to Jen. "Sure," she gave a tentative smile towards the short red head, reaching for the piece of the pot brownie. "Thanks."

Jen smiled and winked at her before they focused back on the screen. "Sure thing, Blondie."

Stiles then turned back to the strawberry blonde. "Lydia, concentrate. Please. Trying to save lives here," he explained bitterly. "For the love of God."

Lydia rolled her eyes before soon shutting them, tightening her grip on the keys.

Hope perked up, watching as Lydia tried to get a feel for Deaton's location.

Lydia was silent, clamping her eyes shut even tighter.

Stiles watched silently for a moment as Lydia's eyebrows furrowed together in the middle, before questioning, "What is it? What do you see?"

Lydia opened her eyes and simply said, "Nothing."

Hope exhaled slowly, rubbing her hands over her face. She knew that Lydia was trying to help them, and at that moment, that was all they could ask for.

When the key scenario proved to be a fail, Stiles moved onto to the next by holding out a pencil in front of Lydia.

She cocked a brow at him, disbelief crossing her features. "Automatic writing?" Lydia asked, looking up at the only boy in the room.

Stiles nodded his head once, being dead serious.

"Just do it, please," Hope said, sighing.

Lydia stared at Hope for a second before grasping the pencil in her fingers before opening up the notebook placed in front of her.

"I love how it took Hope to tell her to do so, for her to agree," Elena said with a giggle.

Cora, Stiles, and Hope inched forward watching as the lead moved across the page with ease.

Hope's eye twitched once she realized Lydia was drawing a picture. "Lydia..." she trailed off, a dead-pan on her features. "Are you drawing a friggin tree right now?" She asked a little more harshly than she meant to. But, she has the right to be annoyed now because Deaton is in danger and Lydia isn't taking it seriously.

"The mood change was quick," Landon stated as he watched the scene. This whole time, he has been trying so hard to not listen to those who comment on Stiles and Hope, and has been hyper focusing on every single detail on the screen.

Stiles' jaw fell slack as he tried to keep himself from jumping out of the seat. "A tr—" he cut himself off, the three of them staring at the strawberry-blonde with a look of annoyance. "Lydia, you're supposed to be writing words, like in sentences, something like a location, something that would tell us where he is."

Lydia raised a brow at her panicked friend's. "What's wrong with my tree? And well, maybe you should've said that I was supposed to be writing words."

Cora huffed in annoyance. "Isn't she supposed to be some kind of genius?"

"Genius, yes," Lydia snapped quickly, defending her level of intelligence. "Psychic...no. Honestly, I don't know why you're even bothering with me anyway. Especially since it's obvious you should be talking to Danny."

Stiles and Hope's eyes widened at her words, their heads shot up. The two locked eyes, trying to figure out why they needed to talk to Danny.

Of course Hope knew that Danny had been taken to the hospital the night before, somehow getting mistletoe in his system while he suffered from a collapsed lung.

"Poor Danny," MG muttered.

"Wait, what?" Stiles asked, brows furrowed. "Why Danny?"

"Because," Scott's voice rang out, all four of them looked up to see him standing in the doorway, his palm pressed against his shoulder where blood had been soaking through his shirt.

Hope jumped up, and looked up at him worry.

"Last night, he was a target. But he wasn't a sacrifice."

Everything had changed in a matter of seconds.

"Shit!" Jen suddenly exclaimed, eyes bloodshot. "Things just got serious!"

Lizzie giggled as she finished the pot brownie she had been nibbling on.

Ben sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose, shaking his head.

Elena, Caroline, and Bonnie glanced at one another, raising their brows in silent question before they were suddenly making their way to Jen and Lizzie, asking for pieces of the pot brownie.

Damon glanced over at Alaric, mouth agape.

It's like since being in this... weird television void, the girls are actually acting like the teenagers that they never got to fully be.

THE GROUP NOW stood around an examination table in Deaton's clinic.

"Okay, so, what does this kid's homework have to do with finding Deaton?" Cora Hale demanded, her brows furrowed as she looked between the four teenagers in front of her.

"Because it's not just homework, okay?" Stiles explained, and jumped in with the information he had found back at the hospital. "It's a project on geomagnetic fields. They flow through the earth. They can even be affected by lunar phases, all right? Now, look at this," he  began, flipping through Danny's packet of research, as Scott and Hope were putting together the pieces of a blue transparent map. "This is note from Harris on Danny's proposal."

"He's very smart," Rebekah remarked and then sighed loudly when she saw Kol suddenly on the floor, eating a big piece of the pot brownie. "Seriously, Kol?!"

Hayley snickered. "Leave him be, Bekah, he's having fun for once."

"Yes, Bekah," Kol mocked, taking a mouth full of the pot brownie. "Take a chill pill."

Davina laughed loudly at how her husband was acting.

The strawberry-blonde that was stationed beside the boy leaned over, her eyes scanning over the words written in red, "I strongly advise you to choose another subject. The ideas here, while innovative and thoughtful, border on pseudo-science. Not suitable for class."

Scott's eyes widened in realization, "Harris wasn't just a sacrifice. He knew something."

"Now, check this out," Stiles continued, tugging out a map and unfolding it so that the rest of them could see it. "Allison's dad wasn't the only one with a map, all right? Danny had one, too."

Their eyes fell onto it, and Hope immediately noticed the long red and blue line trailing along the mark of the town.

"Danny marked all the telluric currents, okay? Now, the weird thing about Beacon Hills is that it actually is a beacon. You wouldn't believe how much energy flowing through this earth is around this town."

"Stiles, look, they match," Scott called out, lining up the blue-transparent pieces of the map over Danny's. The wheels in his brain began turning, and a light went on above his head. He quickly grabbed a pen. "All right, there's three places, right?" He circled the location of the clinic. "Where they're kidnapped, and then the place where their body was found."

Pointing toward the location, Lydia stated, "Look, that's right on the telluric current."

"So, maybe where he was sacrificed is somewhere in between."

"Let me see that," Stiles muttered, snatching the pen out of Scott's grasp. "You said there's six more bodies to be found," he mumbled, marking an X through various locations on the map. "Deaton's one of them. He's got to be somewhere in between, right?"

"Stop," Hope ordered, her brows furrowed and her lips pursed. She began thinking about the sacrifice that had happened in Mystic Falls years ago before she was thought of. Shane — a researcher — had manipulated Bonnie Bennett, and ended up helping make sacrifices to bring back Silas. And with that sacrifice in mind, she placed her hand atop of Stiles' before guiding it slowly toward the crossing of two lines. "He's in the vault. He's in the same vault."

Kol paused the next bite of the pot brownie as he remembered the whole silas thing. He slowly turned to glare at Elena.

Elena's eyes widened and she turned to Kol with an apologetic expression. "I'm sorry!" She exclaimed, holding her hands up. "I was going to back out of it but you overheard and then attacked us. I really didn't enjoy my part in killing you."

Kol studied her for a good second with narrowed eyes before humming and taking a slow bite of the pot brownie. "You're not forgiven, but," he smirked when he saw her freeze a little, "I can forget it happened for the moment."

She nodded, swallowing thickly. "Fair enough."

Now aware of Deaton's location, the five teens were rushing to collect all of their belongings, trying to get to Deaton before the time ran out.

"Guys, hold on," Lydia called out.

"Lydia, we don't have time," Scott pressed, turning away from the doorway to face the strawberry-blonde.

A grave expression crossed Cora Hale's face, her eyes scanning the screen of her phone. "It's Boyd — the plan didn't work. They cut the power."

Hope's eyes widened when those words registered in her mind along with the grave look on Lydia's face. "They're in trouble." And before anyone could say or do anything, Hope was already running out of the clinic, and into the woods.

"Hope to the rescue!" Lizzie shouted loudly, throwing her hand with the pot brownie in the air. "Woohoo!"

Josie stared at her sister in slightly horror. She's never seen her like this before.

"Da da da da da da she's a Mikaelson!" Kol sung off-key as he parody sung the Batman theme song.

WHEN HOPE ARRIVED at Derek's loft, she was panting loudly, and noticed the twins holding back Ms. Blake who seemed to be struggling to get inside the loft.

The tribrid ran forward, and slammed both twins heads' into each other, successfully knocking them out since they weren't expecting it. She then looked to Jennifer, sent her a wink before running towards where Derek was fighting a girl who looked to be about nineteen, maybe twenty.

"Oh shit!" Jen exclaimed, leaning slightly against Lizzie's shoulder. "That's hot!"

Lizzie giggled and nodded in agreement.

"Right?!" All the girls on the floor exclaimed in unison.

"Hey!" Hope shouted and the girl turned to her, and her eyes filled up with rage that she hasn't seen since her father.

"You're the witch who killed my sister!" The girl shouted in pure anger, and she roughly flung Derek into the wall, and went straight for Hope.

"Oh shit!" Rebekah exclaimed.

"She better not hurt my daughter," Hayley growled out.

"We were so worried about our enemies, we didn't think she would make one's on her own," Elijah said, eyes widening slightly at the realization that their niece will never be safe.

Clenching her jaw, Hope blocked multiple punches that had anger behind them, and then swiftly grasped the girls hair, and flung her at a pillar.

"You bitch!" The girl roared and launched herself at Hope, and clawed at her face.

Hope let out a silent scream when the claws actually sliced her cheek. She paused and slowly turned her head towards the older girl, and her eyes shined a bright yellow. "You messed with the wrong witch, bitch."

"Yes! Get her Hope!" All the girls on the floor shouted, cheering and clapping for the tribrid.

"Ictus!" Hope shouted, flinging her hand out towards the werewolf who roared when she went flying backwards.

The alpha did a backflip in the air, landing on her feet, but she slid backwards due to all the water. Standing up to her full height which was like 5'6, the dark haired girl growled, her red eyes shining brightly in the dark loft.

"Nyx, lets just go!" Ethan shouted as he and his brother stood up. Ms. Blake was no where to be seen — she must've hid somewhere.

"It's the alphas sister," Davina said in horror. "The one that wants revenge...."

"No, I want to snap her neck like she snapped my sister's!" Nyx yelled out, and went to lash at Hope again, but the tribrid simply kicked out her leg, hitting the girl in the chest went sent her flying towards the doorway.

Ethan and Aiden ran towards the girl and picked her up, and Hope only turned away from them because Derek was whimpering.

"Oh, no," she breathed out when she fully turned around to see Derek's shoulders were slumped forward as he wept to himself.

Boyd was lying dead in the water.

"No..." Caroline gasped in horror.

The teenage boy had his life taken away from him against his will; and Hope remembered when her and Scott tried to convince him that this wasn't the life he wanted. She remembered being relieved when he was found alive.

But, now he's not.

He's dead.

And that was the exact moment when Scott, Cora, and Stiles arrived.

Cora rushed forward, feet smacking against the water, and she threw herself over the body of her friend, tears streaming freely.

Multiple people were crying at the scene, their heart breaking.

Tears slid down Hope's cheek and she slowly walked towards Derek's slumped body, and bent down next to him. She didn't say anything, she didn't need to. All she did was pull him into a hug, allowing his head to rest on her shoulder. His arms stayed at his side as she wrapped hers around his waist.
