Chapter Six: Sinners & Saints

Nobody's Pov

As everyone settled down the next episode begins to play.

The screen turns on and the camera pans to the mansion. We head inside where we see Kurt, who was wearing a black shirt and black sweatpants, walking downstairs.

He looked tired and we can see how his wounds still need a few more days to heal after what he went through the other day.

"What is he doing? He should be in bed resting not moving around" Burt asked, concerned.

His son had went through alot the other day and the last thing he wants is for him to be moving around.

He should be in his room resting in his bed and staying there until he 100% healed.

Carole sighed before placing a hand on her husbands shoulder causing him to look at him.

"I know and I agree that he should be resting in bed but this is Kurt we're talking about. You and I both know he won't just sit back and do nothing" Carole softly said.

Burt frowned at that before letting out a sigh, knowing that his wife had a point.

If there's one thing he knew about his son is that he was stubborn.

Something he had definitely got from him and Elizabeth, mainly Elizabeth.

Just as he was going to make his way into the kitchen he heard something from the living room. He walked into the living room just in time to see Klaus zooming inside and throwing Sophie onto one of the chairs.

Rebekah was also in the room as she stood by just as Klaus began to speak.

"We had a deal! You protect my unborn child and my mate, I dismantle Marcel's army. And whilst I've been busy fulfilling my part of the bargain, you allowed Hayley and Kurt to be attacked and almost killed by a gaggle of lunatic witches" Klaus angrily spat.

A few people in the theater began glaring at Sophie the second that they saw her.

Blaine being the main one.

He'd never admit this out loud, ever, but he agreed with Klaus since he made a deal with Sophie to take down Marcel and he was keeping his promise while Sophie wasn't.

She allowed Kurt to get hurt and he wanted her to pay.

However, there were a few others that didn't believe Sophie was behind the attack.

Considering Hayley and Kurt were the only leverage she had against the Mikaelson family, especially Klaus.

Kurt walked further into the living room and Rebekah turned to him, having heard his footsteps.

"I had nothing to do with it, I swear. Hayley and I are linked, remember? She dies, I die" Sophie reminded him.

"And what about Kurt, huh? May I remind you that he is not only human but he is my mate? Do you not care if he were to die?" Klaus angrily asked.

Kurt raised an eyebrow at that, having sensed the anger and worry in the hybrids tone.

Everyone had the same reaction, they were confused why Klaus sounded not only angry but worried.

The girls, of course, knew why Klaus was worried and couldn't stop the grins from appearing on their faces.

"He wasn't supposed to be there, Agnes just wanted Hayley. But that doesn't matter because I would never want any harm to come to him either. Like you said, he's human and your mate" Sophie said.

Kurt scoffed, gaining the attention of the others, as he turned to glare at the witch.

"Then start talking. Who were the ones that attacked Hayley and I?" Kurt asked.

He wanted answers and he wasn't leaving until he got them.

"Pretty sure we all want answers, bud" Finn muttered.

He along with everyone in the theater wanted answers as to who those men were and why Agnes wanted them to attack Hayley and Kurt.

"They are a faction of extremists. Sabine stupidly told them about some vision she had about the baby" Sophie said.

Klaus slowly sat down on the couch across from Sophie. Before he could speak he turned to look at Kurt who turned to look at him.

Kurt raised an eyebrow at him and opened his mouth to ask what was wrong when a yelp escaped his lips as Klaus grabbed his hand and pulled him down to sit on his lap.

Everyone's eyes widened at what they just saw, not expecting the hybrid to do that at all.

"Klaus, what the hell?" Kurt asked, confused.

"What? I won't allow you to stand the entire time when you still need to rest" Klaus said.

"I could've sat down next to you, there's plenty of space on the couch you're currently sitting on" Kurt reminded him.

Klaus raised an eyebrow at him and tilted his head slightly.

"Don't pretend that you don't enjoy sitting on my lap, love" Klaus smirked.

Kurt's eyes widened at that and he looked away from the hybrid, his cheeks heating up even more than they already were.

A few people were staring at the screen in confusion while some had raised their eyebrows.

Blaine was glancing between the hybrid and his ex-boyfriend with narrowed eyes.

Meanwhile, the girls were trying their best not to squeal out loud at the flustered state Kurt was in.

They could definitely tell he enjoyed sitting on Klaus's lap, especially when he didn't deny anything.

Sophie stared at them with a raised eyebrow while Rebekah glanced between her brother and his human mate in slight amusement.

"What kind of vision?" Klaus asked, turning his attention back to Sophie.

"She has them all the time. They are totally open to interpretation. I'm guessing she's wrong on this one" Sophie told him.

"Well, how, may I ask, was this particular vision interpreted?" Klaus asked.

Sophie pressed her lips together, "pretty much that your baby would bring death to all witches".

Everyone's eyes widened at that, they clearly weren't expecting that.

They know that this baby is powerful, considering she healed her mother the day of the attack, but they didn't expect her to be powerful enough to end all witches.

They honestly weren't sure if they were scared or downright amazed.

"Damn" Kurt whistled, shocked and amazed.

"Ah, well. I grow fonder of this child by the second" Klaus smirked.

This made everyone either scoff or shake their heads at his words.

"Of course he only cares about the power the child has" Blaine rolled his eyes.

He honestly wasn't surprised since the hybrid doesn't care about being a father, he just cares about himself and power.

Rebekah sighed as she sat down while looking at the witch.

"Sophie, look, I promised Elijah that I would protect the Mikaelson miracle-baby whilst he tries to win your witch Davina's loyalty. Why don't you tell me just how extreme this faction is?" Rebekah asked.

"Elijah's talking to Davina?" Sophie asked, shocked.

"Yeah. As we speak, I imagine" Rebekah nodded.

"I'm guessing she'll have plenty to say about that crowd" Sophie sighed, nodding her head.

"Do tell" Klaus and Kurt said in unison.

The two of them glanced at each other before looking away.

Some people couldn't help but laugh at how Klaus and Kurt spoke at the same time and spoke the same exact thing.

Blaine just rolled his eyes at the two of them saying the same thing at the same time.

"I wasn't always an advocate for the witches. My sister was devoted, like our parents, and our upbringing was very strict, which drove me nuts. The minute I turned twenty-one, I left the quarter to travel and play. But, I wanted to be a chef, so I came back to Rousseau's. I was at a party, having fun and letting loose, when my sister came to see me. And she told me that the elders called a vote and that they were moving forward with the harvest" Sophie explained.

This made the three others that were in the living room with her stare at her in confusion.

Almost everyone was staring at the screen in confusion as they themselves were trying to down in the information they were given.

"The fuck is the harvest?" Puck asked, confused.

"What the bloody hell is the harvest?" Rebekah asked.

"It's a ritual our coven does every three centuries so that the bond to our ancestral magic is restored. We appease our ancestors, they keep our ancestral power flowing" Sophie explained.

"So it's basically where the witches get more magic" Sue deadpanned.

She honestly wasn't surprised since from what she has seen so far the witches just care about power.

"And why haven't I heard of this?" Klaus asked.

"Because a Harvest always seemed like a myth. A story, passed on through generations like Noah's ark, or the Buddha walking on water. The kind some people take literally, and some people don't. They had the girls of our community preparing for months. Four would be chosen for the Harvest. They said that it was an honor, that they were special. I thought it was a myth" Sophie explained.

"Was it?" Kurt asked, tilting his head slightly.

Sophie presses her lips together and if you look closely you can see a hint of guilt and sadness in her eyes.

"Something tells me this harvest thing was real" Sam commented.

"And something tells me it wasn't anything good" Mercedes frowned, staring at the screen in worry.

This harvest ritual sounded like a cult but it also sounded like a death sentence.

And she was worried that those four girls that were chosen were long gone.

Just before Sophie could answer we hear Klaus's cell phone ring.

All eyes turn to him as he lets out a sigh and takes his phone out. He sees who's calling him and accepts it.

"Marcel. Bit early in the day for you, isn't it?" Klaus asked.

Everyone couldn't help but groan.

They still wanted more information about the harvest but they weren't going to get any thanks to Marcel.

Kurt and Rebekah shared a glance before looking back at the hybrid.

"Rather you than me. All that responsibility seems like such a bore" Klaus spoke after a few seconds.

"Well, Marcel himself is a bore. It only makes sense his responsibilities are too" Kurt rolled his eyes.

Everyone laughed at Kurt's words and some couldn't help but fondly shake their heads.

"Oh Kurt" Blaine chuckled, a small fond smile plastered on his face.

Rebekah laughed at his words while Klaus had to stop himself from laughing so that Marcel didn't ask any questions.

Klaus cleared his throat and put his attention back onto Marcel. A few seconds passed and his eyebrows furrowed together at whatever Marcel said next.

"Dead witches in the Bayou. Sounds like less of a problem, and more like a cause for celebration" Klaus grinned.

Sophie instantly looked up at him when he said that.

"Huh? For once, I'd have to agree with him" Sebastian said.

"Same here. Dead witches in the Bayou should be something to celebrate after they almost killed a pregnant girl and our friend" Puck nodded.

"Oh, why not? Haven't been to the Bayou in ages. I'm on my way" Klaus said before hanging up.

Soon Hayley walked into the living room holding two cups of coffee.

She walked further into the living room and sat down next to Klaus and looked at Kurt. She handed her best friend a cup causing Kurt to smile and thank her as he took the cup from her.

"I just love how they're always thinking of each other. She could've just made a coffee for herself but she made one for him too" Carole smiled.

She loves seeing the interactions between Kurt and Hayley.

Everyone else thought the same as her.

Except for Rachel who huffed, feeling a bit of jealousy course through her.

"You can't go out there now. I need to gather the witches remains and consecrate them. If I don't get to them before sundown, we'll lose the link to their magic" Sophie told the hybrid.

"Those witches tried to kill Hayley and Kurt. I'd prefer for Marcel's informant not to find anything that would lead him back to us, to her, or to you know..." Klaus trailed off.

He looked over at Hayley and pointed at her stomach.

"That" he finished.

"Did he seriously just call his own child a that?" Burt asked, an annoyed look on his face.

Everyone either sighed or shrugged.

This was Klaus they were talking about so they weren't really surprised at how he referred his child to a that.

"You are all class" Hayley sarcastically said, taking a sip of coffee from her cup.

Klaus ignored her and turned to point at Sophie, "stay put. And save the rest of your story until I return".

He lifted Kurt off his lap and stood up as he left the house to do what he needed to do.

Santana frowned, feeling the hairs on the back of her head stand up.

Something tells her that Sophie wasn't going to listen to Klaus and she was going to head into the woods to do what she wants to do.

But she also had a feeling that Sophie wasn't the only one going to stay put.

The scene changes to a cemetery and we head inside the cemetery where we see Sophie packing various bottles of magical ingredients into her backpack.

She puts in the last ingredient inside her bag before closing it. She nods and picks it up before turning around, ready to leave.

Only to stop in her tracks when she sees Hayley and Kurt standing together with 'innocent' smiles plastered on their faces.

Everyone either groaned or sighed at the appearance of the two best friends.

"I knew it" Santana muttered, shaking her head.

Burt sighed and rubbed his eyes, feeling a headache coming on, while his wife rubbed his back.

"Hey, what the hell?" Sophie asked in confusion as to why they were here.

Hayley points at her bag, "you're going out there anyway, aren't you?" she asked.

"We wanna go with you" Kurt told her.

Blaine groaned and dipped his head down, bringing his hands to his hair in order to tug at it.

"Of course he's going to head out into more danger rather than stay at the mansion where he'll be safe" Blaine muttered angrily.

His ex-boyfriend is just too stubborn to stay in bed and just rest.

But that was one of the things he loved about Kurt, something he still loves about him.

"No, thanks. Already got assaulted by Klaus this morning. Don't need a repeat" Sophie told them.

She tried leaving but Hayley blocked her, stepping in front of her.

"What if whatever is responsible for all those dead witches is still out there? We've already established that it likes us and hates witches, so you'll be safer with Kurt and I" Hayley told her.

Puck snorted causing Quinn to look at him with a raised eyebrow.

"She could've just told her the truth about why she wants to go considering she doesn't care for her the same way Kurt doesn't care for her" Puck explained.

He doesn't blame either of them for not caring for Sophie since she's the reason they're in the mess that they're in.

But he's curious why Hayley wants to go with the witch.

He doesn't need an answer as to why Kurt would wanna go since it was pretty obvious.

Kurt nodded while Sophie scoffed, clearly not buying that.

"Sorry if I'm not buying your sudden concern for my safety" Sophie told them with a tight smile.

She tried leaving only to stop when Hayley slammed her fists onto the concrete wall, her smile dropping as her face turned serious.

Everyone couldn't stop themselves from flinching at the impact that Hayley made.

They were surprised to see that she made a dent on the wall, a concrete wall for that matter, but then again she was a werewolf so she definitely had enough strength to break whatever she wanted.

"Listen. The whole reason my best friend and I came to this stupid town in the first place was to learn more about my family. Your sister's the one that told us Marcel ran the werewolves out of the Quarter into the Bayou. And last night, I'm pretty sure that some guardian-angel-wolf saved mine and Kurt's life" Hayley said.

"So, whether you like it or not we're coming with you" Kurt added.

"They both look and sound serious so you know they mean it" Thad chuckled.

Sophie sighed in annoyance and opened her mouth to say something when someone else beat her to it.

"Can you three be more idiotic?" a familiar person asked.

All three of them turned around and saw Rebekah standing a few feet away from them, looking unimpressed as her eyes landed on the siblings.

Everyone couldn't stop themselves from laughing at Rebekah's appearance and the look on her face.

"Oh she looks so done with them" Sebastian laughed.

"Yeah, the way she looks at them is the way we looked at you for all the trouble you caused. And for being annoying" Santana grinned.

Sebastian glared at the latina girl but she just waved mockingly at him before turning away.

Hayley and Kurt glance at each other before looking back at the blonde Mikaelson who walked further towards them.

"Two can play the follow-game, you know. You heard Klaus, he and Marcel are headed right where you're going" Rebekah told them.

"Distract them. Easy" Finn shrugged to which Rachel nodded in agreement.

If Klaus keeps Marcel distracted long enough for Sophie to get what she wanted and for Hayley to get what she wanted, none of them would have to worry.

"So distract them. Because unless you wanna lock a hormonal, pregnant werewolf in a tomb, along with her protective and stubborn best friend, we're coming with you" Kurt said.

"And wouldn't Elijah be mad if he hears that the baby, Kurt and I died of asphyxiation?" Hayley asked, tilting her head.

The duo looked at each other and smiled before looking back at the blonde Mikaelson.

Rebekah stares at the duo, visibly annoyed by their stubbornness. Sophie closed her eyes and sighed, annoyed that she was bringing three people with her when it's clear she wanted to go alone.

Everyone couldn't help but laugh loudly at the looks on both Rebekah and Sophie's face.

"Believe me I feel the same way" Burt muttered.

He really didn't want Kurt going out in the woods where he and Hayley had been attacked in the previous episode. He wanted his son to stay at the mansion in his room and in his bed, he wanted his son to be resting.

But his son was a stubborn little shit and he wasn't going to stay put.

He just hopes that nothing happens during their little trip.

The scene changes to the bayou and we see Sophie, Hayley, Rebekah and Kurt walking together.

Hayley and Kurt were in front with Hayley having a protective hand on top of her stomach while Kurt stood at her side protectively with his hands in his pocket. Rebekah was behind them and Sophie stood behind her.

The camera pans to Rebekah and we see her on the phone.

"Who is she talking to?" Tina asked, tilting his head slightly.

"Probably with Klaus. He's going to be with Marcel most of the time and my guess is that Rebekah is going to ask him to distract him while they are busy in the bayou" Mike shrugged.

Tina glanced at her ex-boyfriend and nodded her head, turning her attention back to the screen.

Kurt could hear Rebekah on the phone talking to Klaus and decided to listen in.

"Well, order up a few rounds of moonshine and steer clear of the dead witches for a few. The witch is on a burial mission, your baby mama is on a spirit quest and your mate is with her since you already know they can never be away from each other" Rebekah spoke into her phone.

"Hey, Klaus!" Kurt yelled, hoping that the hybrid heard him with his vampire hearing.

"Did he really have to do that?" Trent asked, confused.

Nobody said anything at that with the warblers just shrugging their shoulders.

"And I'm keeping Elijah's promise to keep the two of them safe. So, stall, please" Rebekah begged.

She didn't wait for an answer and quickly hung up. She sighed before continuing to walk, following the duo as Sophie followed too.

"Oh come on. Why can't we hear what Klaus is saying?" Finn asked, pouting.

He was curious to know what the hybrid was saying on his end rather than just Rebekah.

And he wants to know if he really is going to help them and stall Marcel as much as he can.

Rachel giggled softly at him and just leaned down to rest her head on his shoulder.

The scene changes to a further part of the bayou and the camera pans to Sophie, Hayley, Rebekah and Kurt that were still walking. Silence filled the air between them before it was broken.

"So, this harvest thingy, tell me more" Rebekah said.

"Klaus said to wait" Sophie reminded her.

Burt scoffed and rolled his eyes.

"He also said to stay out of the bayou but what do they do? They go there anyway" Burt muttered.

"Yes. He also said to stay out of the bayou and yet here we are, amongst the crawly, buzzy creatures" Rebekah reminded her.

The duo stop walking as Hayley places her hand on a tree that was next to her.

"We're here" Hayley and Kurt said in unison.

"Not them too" Rachel huffed.

It's bad enough that this Hayley girl took her role as Kurt's best friend but now they were saying the same thing as one another.

It just made her even more jealous.

They four of them have reached the place where the witches were killed. And they were staring at the scene in front of them in shock and disgust.

The bodies of the dead witches were all bloodied and ripped apart, the camera pans over to a dismembered head that lies near the bodies.

Kurt frowned and quickly covered his mouth, trying his best not to throw up, as he looks away from the scene.

Everyone had the same reaction as Kurt and did their best to look away from the scene.

They couldn't believe what they were seeing, this was something they have never wanted to see in their lives.

"Who the hell killed them?" Sue asked, bringing her hand up to cover her mouth.

Did the wolves do that?

She knows that wolves are ruthless but she didn't know they were ruthless enough to cause that much damage.

Sophie, who looked disgusted herself at the scene, took a deep breath before kneeling down as she set her bag down and opened it up in order to take out the ingredients she brought with her.

Hayley spotted something and her eyes widened in shock.

"Whoa" she breathed out, taking a few steps forward.

Kurt furrowed his eyebrows before moving to stand next to his best friend. He looked down to see a huge paw-print in the mud.

The camera pans to a nearby tree and we see three bloody scratches in the bark.

"Well, that definitely answered my question" Sue muttered.

"Is that a wolf track?" Sophie asked, furrowing her eyebrows together.

All of a sudden they hear the sound of crunching footsteps nearby. Almost instantly they were on high alert.

"Who's there?!" Rebekah called out, taking a few steps forward.

A figure appears to be a male as he approaches the four of them. Kurt instantly puts himself in front of Hayley, ready to protect his best friend and niece.

Despite how some people were tense and afraid, some couldn't help but smile softly at Kurt's actions.

Seeing him ready to protect his best friend no matter what just shows how much he cares for her.

Blaine, on the other hand, couldn't help but roll his eyes at Kurt's actions.

He understands that Hayley is Kurt's best friend and he understands that Kurt cares for her and is protective of her but he doesn't want him to always protect her, especially when he's human and can easily get hurt.

He just wants Kurt to worry about himself and not some werewolf girl that is more than capable of protecting herself.

The male stops at the sight of the four people with his eyes trained on Rebekah, realization washing in his eyes.

"What the hell? An original?" the male asked.

Before any of them can react he quickly speeds away, clearly scared, leaving the four people standing there in confusion.

"Seriously? Everyone knows who they are and are really scared of them" Jeff asked in surprise.

"Well they are the original vampires and Klaus is the original hybrid, it only makes sense for them to be feared by all" Nick shrugged.

Rebekah sighed and took her phone out so she could call Klaus to tell him everything that happened.

She walked off in order to talk to her brother leaving the three others to continue searching the place trying to see if there was anything else they could find or anything else they missed.

"Is it wise to tell the scary man what happened?" Brittany asked, worried.

"They have to. He told them to stay put but they didn't listen. And since that guy is a lacky of Marcel's he's going to tell him what he knows. Klaus is the only one that can stop him" Santana explained.

If they don't want Marcel knowing about Hayley or Kurt, Klaus has to know what happened.

The screen turns black before turning back on.

It's not late at night and the camera pans to Sophie's truck. We hear footsteps nearby and we see Hayley, Kurt and Sophie heading over to the truck in order to head back.

Rebekah had left after her conversation with Klaus in order to go distract Marcel while Klaus went to deal with his informant.

"I'm surprised she didn't force Hayley and Kurt to head back to the mansion" Quinn giggled.

"Well, we already knew from the beginning they weren't going to leave" Tina shrugged.

"Yeah, they're both stubborn" Rachel nodded.

"Those people, all this, because of a vision about my baby you don't think is true?" Hayley asked.

Sophie sighed as she opened the trunk and took her bag off before putting it inside.

"Look, I love Sabine, but she's the witch equivalent of a drama queen. I've learned to take little stock in whatever she says or sees. Just kinda wish she'd kept her mouth shut" Sophie said.

"You and me both" Kurt huffed.

Had that bitch kept her mouth shut about what happened he and his best friend wouldn't have been attacked.

Everyone nodded their heads in agreement.

Sabine should've kept her mouth shut about the vision because if she had Kurt and Hayley wouldn't be in danger.

"The harvest ritual, you said you didn't believe in it. Were you right?" Hayley asked.

Sophie shook her head, "no. I saw it with my own eyes. It was working. It was real".

"So, how can you be so sure Sabine's vision isn't?" Kurt asked, sounding worried.

Sophie didn't answer his question as she didn't know what to say. She simply turns to close her trunk before getting inside her truck. Kurt and Hayley look at each other before getting inside the truck themselves.

Everyone frowned and couldn't help but think that maybe, just maybe, Sabine's vision was real.

While some were still in denial because there's no way a baby could be powerful enough to put an end to all witches.

And even if the baby could do something like that it doesn't mean it deserves to be put down.

The scene changes back to the mansion and the camera pans inside where we see Hayley, Kurt and Rebekah standing near a piano.

Hayley and Kurt stood together while Rebekah stood across from them as she began to pour some alcohol into three glasses.

"I don't care if we have to get you a leash, that was your last trip to the Bayou" Rebekah sternly said.

Hayley rolled her eyes as she and Kurt watched Rebekah finish filling up the last glass.

"What is it with you and those wolves, anyway?" Rebekah asked.

"I feel like we're connected somehow" Hayley shrugged.

"The question is how" Sebastian hummed.

Why does that girl think that she's connected to those wolves?

He gets that she's a werewolf herself but there has to be a reason for that connection that she feels.

"I don't know. Maybe it's just some pipe dream that I have of finding any real family out there. The only thing I have close to a family is Kurt since he's been there for me since the day we met. And sometimes when I feel like it's us against the world, it keeps me going" Hayley said.

Kurt let a smile appear on his face at her words and wrapped his arm around her waist.

Hayley smiled at him and rested her head on his shoulder.

Everyone in the theater couldn't stop themselves from smiling at the duo.

Hell, even Sue was smiling but she was making sure nobody noticed.

Although they were quite sad that Hayley doesn't have any family in her life they were happy that at the very least she had Kurt.

She considered him as part of her family and that's more than enough for her.

Rebekah glanced between the two of them with a faint smile before holding out a drink for Hayley.

Hayley gives her a look causing Rebekah's eyes to widen when she realized that she couldn't drink because she's pregnant.

"Oh, right" Rebekah nodded.

She gulped down the drink herself before setting the now empty glass down. She then turns to Kurt and holds out a glass for him.

"Don't mind if I do" Kurt shrugged before taking the cup from her.

He gulped down the drink easily, sighing in content since he's been wanting a drink after the day he had.

"I don't think he should be drinking" Blaine frowned.

"Shut up, helmet head. Kurt's allowed to drink whatever he wants given he's an adult" Santana scoffed.

Blaine looked at her with an offended expression to which she ignored him, keeping her gaze on the screen.

"Well, if you ask me, family is a pain in the behind" Rebekah said.

Hayley rolled her eyes while Kurt chuckled slightly.

"And as for being in it alone, how dare you? I don't ruin a perfectly fabulous pair of boots traipsing through the bayou for just anyone" Rebekah told them.

As she gulps down another drink the duo can't help but smile softly at her because of her words.

Everyone had the same reaction as Hayley and Kurt, especially when they could tell how true Rebekah's words were.

"Looks like they're beginning to grow on her" Carole softly smiled.

Just as Rebekah finishes her drink and sets her glass down the front door opens. The three of them turn around and see Klaus walking in.

When Kurt makes eye contact with his mate he lets out a small sigh and offers him a slight smile.

Klaus looks surprised at that but, nevertheless, returns the smile and nods his head.

The girls looked at each other and couldn't stop themselves from grinning slightly.

"Nik! Finally, what-" Rebekah started but stopped as her eyes turned to another person that entered the house.

And that person just so happened to be Elijah himself, who smiled at his sister while said sister stared at him in shock.

At the sight of Elijah everyone couldn't help but smile or let out sighs of relief.

"Thank god, he's finally home" Finn said.

"I don't know how that hybrid was able to do it but I don't care. I'm just glad he got his brother back" Rachel added.

"At least now we can remain calm since the good, and better, brother has returned" Blaine smiled.

Now with Elijah back he knows that Kurt will be safe from Klaus.

After her shock disappeared a smile appeared on Rebekah's face and she quickly rushed over to Elijah.

She wrapped her arms around her brother and hugged him tightly. Elijah returned the hug, the smile never disappearing from his face.

"Elijah, you're safe!" Rebekah breathed out in relief and happiness.

Elijah looks up and his eyes meet Hayley's and Kurt's.

Kurt smiled slightly at him and nodded his head to which Elijah smiled and nodded back.

But when he turns to Hayley he sees her smiling at him and tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear before leaving the room.

"They like each other, I'm calling it" Sam grinned.

"No shit, sherlock" Puck rolled his eyes.

This made a few laugh while the girls couldn't stop themselves from smiling at the interaction between Elijah and Hayley.

It's really clear that those two like each other and they were definitely rooting for them.

Kurt grinned, having seen the interaction between Elijah and Hayley.

Elijah and Rebekah pulled away from their hug as Rebekah smiled at her brother.

"Now that you're home, is your first plan to kill Niklaus?" Rebekah asked, sarcastically smiling at her hybrid brother.

Kurt snorted while Klaus sent her an offended look before scoffing.

Everyone laughed at Rebekah's words while some were laughing at Klaus's reaction.

"I wouldn't be surprised if Elijah killed him considering Klaus was the one that daggered him in the first place" Thad shrugged.

"Yeah, it makes sense for him to want some revenge" Trent nodded.

Elijah turns to his sister, "excuse me just a moment".

He kisses her on the forehead before walking out of the room. Rebekah stared at him before turning to Klaus.

"Where's he going?" Rebekah asked.

Klaus says nothing but the look on his face indicates that he has an idea as to where he was headed.

"To see a pregnant werewolf girl" Sue commented.

Kurt makes his way over to Klaus causing the hybrid to look at his mate.

"You're back" Kurt said.

"Yes, I am" Klaus nodded.

"I'm impressed that you not only got Elijah back but you survived being daggered or killed" Kurt commented.

"Believe me when I say he was tempted to dagger me. And he did nearly kill me after giving me a few punches and kicks" Klaus told him, rolling his eyes.

Kurt laughed at that, as did Rebekah, while Klaus just shook his head while chuckling.

Some people couldn't stop themselves from laughing at the knowledge that Elijah nearly killed Klaus for what he did to him.

While a few others were relieved at seeing Kurt and Klaus slowly getting along.

Sure, they still had their doubts about Klaus and were still wary of him but they could tell that he was trying.

And they could see the two of them becoming great friends.

Blaine, on the other hand, hated seeing his ex-boyfriend slowly warming up to the hybrid.

Why would Kurt warm up to an asshole like him?

Especially after what he had done to him before.

"Well, as long as you're here and safe that's all that matters" Kurt said.

Klaus looked surprised at that and was even more surprised when he felt his heart fluttering at his mates words.

"Thank you, love" Klaus softly said.

Kurt said nothing and just smiled at him while nodding his head.

But then his smile faded within seconds and a glare appeared on his face and he slapped the hybrid across the face, hard.

Gasps filled the theater with a few people covering their mouths in shock at what they just witnessed.

"Did he just..." Finn trailed off.

"Yes, he did" Rachel nodded, her eyes wide in shock.

They, along with everyone else in the theater, couldn't believe that Kurt slapped Klaus.

They weren't expecting it and they weren't sure if they should be shocked, happy or scared.

Sue whistled lowly and turned her head away from the screen, not wanting anyone to see the proud smirk appearing on her face.

Burt covered his mouth to stop himself from laughing out loud.

Blaine, on the other hand, had no problem laughing out loud and allowed a pleased smirk to appear on his face.

"Well deserved" Blaine commented.

Klaus felt his eyes widen at what just happened. Rebekah stood there with wide eyes as shock coursed through her body.

Klaus slowly turned his head and saw his mate still glaring at him.

"Don't look so shocked, you know what that was for. Now we're even" Kurt sarcastically smiled.

He turned around and left leaving Klaus and Rebekah standing there in stunned silence.

Burt laughed and shook his head in amusement.

"That's my boy" Burt muttered with a small proud grin appearing on his face.

Rebekah looked at her brother and saw him staring off into space as he tried to comprehend what just happened.

The shock wore off of him and she was sure that he would burst into a fit of rage but that never happened.

Instead, her brother just placed his hand on the cheek that his mate slapped and let out a small hum.

Everyone was shocked and confused to say the least.

They were sure that the hybrid would've lost it and started raging at everything and everyone.

But that never happened and they had to admit that it was a relief for them.

Especially since they didn't want Klaus to choke Kurt, again, or do something worse than that.

The scene changes to the study where we see Klaus and Rebekah sitting together while Elijah stands behind the desk. Hayley and Kurt were standing together with their arms crossed over their chests.

"Everything that brought us here to New Orleans was a lie. This story that Sophie Deveraux fabricated, this struggle for control of the French Quarter, this war between vampires and witches, wasn't over territory at all, this was over Davina" Elijah explained.

Everyone looked at him in confusion and interest.

Everyone in the theater remained as silent as they could and leaned forward in their seats.

Now that Elijah was back he obviously had information, especially if he had been speaking to Davina.

And they, along with the other Mikaelson siblings and the best friend duo, were curious to know what he found out.

"Eight months ago, Sophie Deveraux and her sister Jane-Anne lost everything. Now, four months after that, a young pregnant girl and a young boy that happens to be the soulmate of the original hybrid wanders into their restaurant. Suddenly, all hope is renewed" Elijah added.

Hayley and Kurt press their lips together and glance at each other.

"Jane-Anne actually sacrificed her life so that her sister can use you to find Davina. If Sophie Deveraux is successful in capturing Davina, she can return Jane-Anne's daughter back to life. We thought we'd come here to wage a war for power. This is about family. In order to return her niece to life, Sophie Deveraux will fight to the death. That makes her more dangerous than anyone" Elijah finished.

Klaus and Rebekah look at each other with Hayley and Kurt doing the same. It's clear they have their work cut out for them.

As the screen turned black everyone absorbed the information that was given to them thanks to Elijah.

They were surprised to know that not only Sophie was an aunt but that her niece had been chosen for the harvest and that she was killed.

And they sure as hell didn't know that the only reason Sophie Jane-Anne had done everything just to get Davina back in order to complete the harvest.

And while they understand that Sophie wants her niece back, the only family she has left, she's doing it her own way.

Not really caring who gets hurt or even dies in the process.

And Elijah declaring her as dangerous more than anyone is true, especially if she's fighting for family.

It's clear that Kurt and Hayley, along with the Mikaelson siblings, have a long road ahead of them.

And they were worried about how it would all play out.
