(No pov) ( this will be a long chapter :>)

CRASH. Asahi didn't care for the broken glass and tea that was all over the floor. He rushed over to Noya and grabbed his shoulders. "Where the hell did you get this, what the hell happened!" and Noya started to break into a panic, tears were forming and streaming down his face, his breathing became heavy and rapid, and he was shaking.

(Noya pov)

Ashai picks up Noya and Noya's jolts as he is swept off his feet and Asahi takes Noya up the stairs and places him gently on his bed. "I'll be right back, please stay here Noya." Asahi said as he turned and went back down to see Hinata and Kageyama cleaning the mess. "I'm sorry for you to do this but if you could stay here, this may take a bit. He bowed apologetically and then looked at Hinata for a bit but then made his way to the kitchen and grabbed a glass of water and walked back up the stairs to Noya and placed it on the nightstand next to the bed and sat next to Noya. they sat in tense silence for a bit.

(Ashai pov)

"Did it hurt?" I manage to say as I look at him with worry in my eyes. Noya slowly turned his head and his eyes were red and puffy from crying. "Yeah, but it's my fault and I think it was worth it. He said quietly as he held his knees to his chest. I wrapped my arms around him and held him close. I felt his arms wrap around my stomach and pulled him closer. I leaned back, I was laying down and Noya was on top of me.

"Are you ready yet? If you're not, that's fine, you know I'll wait." Asahi said as he rubbed circles on my back. I sat there for a minute and then slowly nodded my head still on his chest and I turned my head to look up at him. I take a deep breath and then start my story.

(No Pov)(flashback, around like what would be like the first year of middle school, basically Noya, a first-year in middle school and Asahi a second year)

"SUGA!" A Young Noya called as he flew and planned to crash into his older clan brother. A younger Sugawara just managed to get out of the way from the littlest tengus tackle. And Noya into a bush instead." Dear Kamisama, Noya, are you alright?" He said as he pulled out Noya. "Yup!" Noya stated and gave his iconic goofy grin. Suga sighed, he was glad the Littlest tengu had fully recovered from his beating from clan leader for staying out too late.

" Hey there you two, I finally got out of practice!" called a young Daichi as he flew over to the two and Suga faced was blushed and he smiled at Daichi as he landed and gave him a hug saying, " Hey there Daichi!" and Daichi returned the hug with a blush on his face. "JUST DATE ALREADY!" Noya yelled as the two who were hugging her and faces turned red and Suga went to go and chase Noya.

Then Noya realized what time it was. " See ya later Suga!" he said as he flew off. "WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU GOING" Suga yelled and was about to fly off as well but Daichi stopped him and Suga made a pout on his face and Daichi laughed. Noya flew into the forest and hid his wings by closing them and cramping them in his shirt.

This was rather difficult due to the huge size of his wings but managed to do so. Just as he saw a tall brunette with slightly longer hair walk up to him. " H-Hello Noya." " ASAHI!" Noya jumped and hugged the gentle giant. I'm sorry for not being here for the last few days, I was SUPER busy!"

exclaimed Noya, even though Noya knew this was a lie but Asahi bought the lie. Asahi smiled and they sat on a log and talked for a while about whatever came to mind. After it was getting late the two boys parted ways and Noya flew back to the compound where the clan lived. But he was met with many guards and clan leader.

"What the hell is this?" Noya asked and the Clan leader signed, " Nishinoya, I had such high hopes for you, I hoped I could teach you the right way and you would be better than my son. But I was a fool to believe this, for one such as you, with the blessing of a god, has committed a great violation of the rules by meeting with humans." Noya felt cold sweat go down his face as the clan leader continued, " for this reason, you must have an extreme punishment, I'll be taking your blessing."

Noya knew that meant He would be taking his wings. Noya quickly took to the skies and guards began to chase the small tengu and as he flew as fast he could. he herd clan leader's voice boom louldly saying that the longer he ran away from him, the smaller his paticence would become and would harm Noya's human.Noya mid filled with worry for Asahi but as of right at the moment he couldn't worry about that. He made sure the guards lost sight of him and he quickly flew into the Daichi and Suga room. This had woken up the boys and they sat up to see their little friend panting out of breath. Suga got out of the futon and rushed over and Daichi followed.

"What the hell Noya. what happened?" asked Suga to put his hand on the younger's shoulder. " *huff* t-they are t-taking my wings." Noya sputtered out, and Suga and Daichi both widened their eyes. " You're joking right?" Daichi asked, hoping this was a joke. Noya's eyes began to tear and shook in his head. Then they all started to silently cry while all hugging each other. Daichi claimed that he would try to convince his father to not do this as Daichi went out of the room.

Suga held one of his best friends close to him like a mother who's child was going to be taken away, Noya looked at Suga who kept saying everything would be fine and everything would work out. Noya grabbed Suga's face and made him look at Noya. " I want you to promise me something when I go because let's face it, the clan leader isn't going to listen to Daichi. I want you to tell Daichi that you love him. You do like him right ?"

Suga's face became red but slowly nodded in agreement, but Suga asked why. " Because I want you two to have each other, I want you to be happy," he said with a sad smile. Before Suga could say some, they heard a knock at the door and heard a voice that wasn't Daichi's " Brother Sugawara, is brother Nishinoya in here. Suga was going to reply no but the door opened and Noya jumped on top of Suga and made it appear as if Noya was strangling Suga.

Noya quickly went out of the window he came in and rushed away. One other tengu, who was a guard, asked and checked if Suga was alright. Suga began to cry, he knew why Noya did that because he did it so Suga wouldn't get in trouble. Suga was told to stay in that room until he was told that he could leave. Suga's heart was full of worry for the smallest tengu and he was struck with fear when he heard Noya had been caught by the guards.

An hour later Daichi returned to the room. His eyes are wide and full of shock and pain. Suga asked him what was wrong and explained that his father, clan leader made him watch Noya tortured and when he was thrown out. Tears filled both of the tengu's eyes and hugged each other and sobbed for their friend. Meanwhile, Noya, his back covered in fresh wounds and burns, limped into the forest.

He ran into a boy whose head was shaved and a girl who was older than him whose hair was blonde. They looked like they were collecting fireflies in jars. They then saw Noya and the boy ran over to Noya and told his sister to call an ambulance. Noya blacked out and when he came too, saw the boy and the girl and he was in an unfamiliar place. The people there nursed him back to health and the boy and the girl visited him along with another girl with long darker hair.

Eventually, he was discharged and was invited to stay with the girl and the boy. Noya told them to come closer and he used the little yokai power he had and touched there forehead and made them forget him and everything that had happend. He ran away before they saw him. And now Noya was all on his own.

(Noya pov)

I explained it all to Asahi. He was about to say something and I could tell by the expression on his face that he was going to blame it on himself. I put my hands over his mouth and I explain that it's not his fault, then he argues it's technically not mine either, we argue for a bit and then eventually come to the conclusion that it's either one of their faults. 

After that, we ended up laughing and now that I've calmed down, we make our way down the stairs and see the Kageyama had fallen asleep on the couch with a little tengu who wrapped his wings and wings around the boy and I smiled at the sight. I'm going to make sure that this little tengu would never have to go through what I went through.
