New AU
Hey so I have a new AU ( This has Scar in a Wheelchair )
In this AU...
( INFORMATION OF WATCHERS IN THIS AU )
A Watcher is considered a god.
Watchers have the ability to ' watch ' servers, as if it was a video. That's how they are mostly known. People say they dream to participate in them, but nobody except the Watchers theirself understand why.
They have full ability to create and travel through servers, some with only them ( singleplayer ) and some with multiple ( multiplayer. )
The Watchers also have galaxy-like large wings to show that they're a Watcher.
A Watcher has many more abilities, but I won't explain them all. One important ability will be explained later.
A Watcher has a ' mortal ' form- so that when they're in a world with mortals who don't know they're a Watcher, they can keep low.
A drawback to the mortal form, is that the Watcher cant keep it for too long- or else it will appear automatically, maybe infront of someone.
In order to regenerate time, they have to keep their Watcher form for atleast 10 minutes.
But if they forced theirself to hold the Mortal Form for longer, then the time needed to regenerate will be lengthier.
Sometimes, pink eyes ( leaf shape and then iris, not cartoony eyes ) will appear over their body and wings when they're in their Watcher form.
If not the pink eyes, then Enchanting Table text or sometimes Enderman text will appear over their body and wings.
Now, the most important Watcher ability.
- Why is this the most important?
Well, a Watcher has a chance to lose their abilities- effectively making them mortal again. All Watchers can.
And if every Watcher loses their abilities, then there will be no more Watchers.
- What is the ability?
This Ability is the ability to make someone else a Watcher.
I forgot what I was doing for a moment but now I'm back.
Anyways, a Watcher will only do this in certain situations.
A: They're losing their Watcher abilities, and a mortal is right there.
B: A mortal saw them in their Watcher form. Even if the mortal doesn't want it, it's the Watcher's punishment for being seen. They also have to teach the mortal how to be a proper Watcher, which will usually be a lengthy process.
Or, any other reason they see fit.
Actual Writing a Story about this
Wings hidden.
Cant hide them anymore.
Grian had only been looking for sand to make glass, when the words started.
Not anything from a mortal, no. The words echoed in his mind.
Cant hide wings.
Cant hide wings.
Show wings.
It gave Grian a headache. At first, Grian ignored it and kept looking for sand.
But it got worse.
And worse.
And worse.
The louder the voices became, the worse the headache became.
After only a minute...
" Screw it! " Grian shouted, getting an elytra and flying off to a forest where he was sure nobody would be.
It had been... a month since he last showed it. 40 minutes. He could do that, right? Surely.
So, Grian created a hole in the ground. 6 blocks deep, and Grian figured he didn't have to hide it
But he needed wing space, so Grian dug around.
17 blocks wide, 6 blocks deep, 17 blocks long. Safe enough.
Grian let his wings go, and the relief he felt was unimaginable. This time, the pattern was what the most known design for a Watcher. The Enchanting Table text. Not anything of interest.
Scar had been in a forest, getting wood for no reason in particular.
The hole he saw was unusual, and that piqued his interest.
But when he looked into the hole...
" Grian?! "
Well, crap. Someone found Grian- wait.
Oh no. OH NO, someone found Grian. Even worse, it was Scar.
If a Watcher is caught in their Watcher form by a mortal, then they have to grant the mortal Watcher abilities. And teach then how to use it.
Scar was still shocked. " Wait- wait- what?! You're a-... uh, what was it- oh! Watcher? "
Grian stared up, his face being covered with Galactic ( it's called the Galactic Alphabet ).
The neon pink symbols across his whole body glowed in the night sky.
Grian: " Eh- Uhm-... Maybe? "
Scar smacked his head, in an attempt to understand this. " So-... How long have you been hiding this? "
" Well, Watchers aren't really supposed to show their form to mortals, so- I became a Watcher before I even joined Hermitcraft, but I'm still pretty new. " Grian tried to explain.
Scar calmed down. " Wait, but what happens now since you aren't supposed to? "
" Umm- well. There's this policy that the Watchers before me made, where- if a mortal finds us as a Watcher- uhm... uh-... yeah okay. You have to be a Watcher now because you found me. It's weird, but it's the rules. So- "
Scar cut Grian off. " Wait so- oh no I'm gonna pass out. Oh god. "
Grian plucked a feather, one that had been bugging him by being loose. He flew up to where Scar was, then gave it to him, and...
" Grian? Grian what did- " Scar froze.
"... Sorry if it hurts, it's normal. You need a feather from a Watcher to become one. " Grian mumbled.
Scar felt nothing at first, but then there was a burning in his stomach. It felt like he was really anxious about something, but the anxiousness went away and turned into pain when it went to his arms.
" Ow ow ow ow- oh god this is normal rIGH- AAH- " Scar screamed in pain.
Grian: " Yeah- uhm, it doesn't usually last that long. It hurt for me, too, when it happened to me. "
Scar clenched his jaw to stop himself from screaming, and he clenched even harder when he got a bad migraine. Like, a really bad one.
His hands were on his head, everything in his body was in pain- even the eyes.
But what hurt most were the sides of his torso. It felt like they were torn open slowly and spice was thrown in the gap.
He felt himself losing consciousness, but Scar fought to stay awake.
The hand placed on his head, though, was enough to make him go unconscious.
Scar had finally gone unconscious. It was required, so that Grian could show the other Watchers.
Green, and Blue. Grian was Red. ( idk who the other watchers are supposed to canonically be so i'll make them up )
Grian took Scar's arm, and teleported the two of them to the Watcher's Realm, in the 4th bedroom out of 5. Unoccupied.

Grian picked up Scar, and set him on the bed. He felt bad for what the man had just gone through.
" Red? You're back already? It's only been, what, 2 years? " Came a voice behind him.
It was Blue.
" Two months, Blue. " Red corrected. ( RED = GRIAN BTW )
Blue was surprised. " Oh, months? Just two months- and who's that on the bed?... "
" Uh- His name's Scar. He saw me. " Red mumbled, looking away.
Blue: " ... You're teaching him how to do stuff. His name's Magenta in his Watcher form. "
Blue teleported away, presumably to inform Green.
Well, crap. He WAS on his own, then.
Grian ( switching between names ) waited for Scar to wake up, only having to wait for 2 days- which, for a Watcher, was quite short.
When Scar woke up... " wait, what- Grian!? "
" Hello! " Grian waved at Scar.
And, like before, Scar had many questions. " Wait, where am I? How did I get- wait you were a Watcher and made me one too. How long was I unconscious? "
Grian smiled. " Only two days or so. "
" TWO DAYS?! " Scar shot up in his bed.
Grian nodded. " Yep, two days. Anyways, I have stuff to explain to you- don't I? "
Scar nodded, aggressively.
" Well, this might take a bit then. You're a Watcher now, and us Watchers go by names. There's Green, Blue, I'm Red, and you're Magenta. Uhm- yeah. As a punishment of being caught, I have to teach you how to ' be ' a watcher. You also uh- have wings now, that'll grow the better you are at your Watcher abilities. Being a Watcher means you have... many powers. Elemental control, telekinesis, tychokinesis also known as luck manipulation- anything. So, it's gonna take a while for you to master every single one. "
Scar took a moment to process that. " ... so I'm a god of sorts now. "
Grian nodded.
" Oh no, I'm a god. " Scar whispered to himself, making Grian laugh.
Grian's eyes widened. " Wait we've been here for two days we have to get back to Hermitcraft NOW! "
Grian took Scar's arm, and teleported them into the hole where Grian was.
"... woah, your wings are HUGE. " Scar muttered.
Grian nodded. " Yeah, I'm pretty experienced. Anyways, the easiest to learn would be Teleportation- but we'll do that in the Watcher Realm. For now, you need to hide your wings. "
Scar: " How do I do that- oh, they're gone. "
" Yeah, it's easy. Just intend to, and then do some random stuff or nothing, I don't know- boom! Your wings are gone! " Grian smiled, hiding his wings.
Scar had some trouble standing, so Grian took his arm to steady him.
Scar had some blocks on hand, so he builded up as Grian levitated up- to flex. Scar groaned at this, then slapped Grian before leaning on him since he couldn't stand very well. "Shut up, Red- wait I just called you Red. Eh, whatever. "
Grian sighed, still smiling, and then dragged Scar out of the forest- well, he stopped halfway. " Wait, you still need to use your wheelchair- "
Grian turned to face Scar, hand still gripping his arm. " Well- you try to teleport! "
" Me? "
" Yep. You're gonna learn. " Grian nodded.
" Can I get like, a tip or anything? " Scar asked, and Grian shook his head.
So Scar just stood there, staring at Grian like ' PLEASE HELP '. Grian didn't help, for the record.
" Please help I don't wanna embarrass myself. " All the Red Watcher did was shake his head.
Grian let go of Scar's arm abruptly. Scar stood up, a bit wobbly from being a bit startled- but not too bad.
" Wait do you need to be in your Watcher form to-... " Grian laughed and nodded, " Until you've been a Watcher for atleast 100 days, yes. " being slapped again by Scar, rightfully. " Ow- ".
Scar tried to activate his Watcher form, which was strangely easy. Then, he closed his eyes. " Am I doing this right? " He got no response, so he opened his eyes.
He was already there, so Scar tried to wobble over the wheelchair- but ended up falling, and couldn't get up. God, Scar wanted to just levitate.
Grian noticed Scar had been gone for a bit too long, assuming he would teleport back- so he went to check on the latter male. Who was found laying on the ground, flailing around in an attempt to stand up.
" God, you look pathetic right now, Scar! " Grian exclaimed, making Scar stare from the ground.
Scar looked away. " I was- I was a bit far away from the wheelchair, but my legs collapsed on me and I cant get up. "
The Red Watcher's eyes widened slightly, before going back to normal.
You see, there's something that happens one time when you're a Watcher. I came up with it on the spot.
It's only gonna happen once, but you won't forget it. It can happen at any time, too. If you just became a Watcher, or have been one for 592027401 years. That's when the Green Watcher got theirs.
It's called; ' Collapse Effect '.
What this does, is makes your limbs unable to function- because every time they're touched or moved, you'll feel an unimaginable amount of pain for as long as you try to move or touch it. This lasts for about a day.
The pain goes on even when you're in Watcher form, and you cant even levitate yourself or teleport without feeling the pain.
Anyways!
BACK TO THE STORY
Grian put on a smile, and then went to get the wheelchair for Scar.
Red picked up Scar, making the latter slap him yet again- but Grian didn't say anything about the slap, and then the more experienced Watcher gently placed Scar in the wheelchair.
" Anyways! " Grian clapped his hands together tight. " Let's go back, now. "
Grian pushed the wheelchair Scar was in to society, as the large-hatted male hid his wings.
Once they got to society, they heard calls of " Grian? Grian! " and " Scar! Scar? ". It seemed they were gone for a bit too long, then.
" hey, Scar. Let's just keep low and see if anyone finds us. Also, remember that the Watcher stuff is a secret. " Grian whispered, and Scar nodded in understanding
Grian pushed Scar's wheelchair along Scar's park, as that was where the other hermits were exploring and searching for the two.
" Just walkin' my dog- wait wha? " Grian and Scar laughed at the Red Watcher's poor choice of words. Which... caught Ren's attention, as his ears perked up and he looked around- quickly spotting the two.
" They're over here! " Ren shouted, as the others looked and saw them. Scar waved nervously, and then the rest of the hermits rushed towards then and began questioning the two Watchers.
Stuff like " Where were you? " was most common, but Pearl also asked " How was your day? ".
Grian looked away nervously, then saw an opening- thus leading to Grian running away, pushing Scar along with it.
Finally, they were free. And, uh...
Oh no.
