First, sorry about another Bandstand related post today. It's just that I've gotten an idea for a fic in my head and it won't leave me alone.

I do feel guilty because I haven't written Newsies anything since February, but my writer's block is awful and I'm hoping if I can get something posted and get this idea out of my head, that my muse will come back and I'll be able to write stuff for Newsies again.

So anyway, I've only seen Bandstand once and I've got a quick question for anyone who's seen it. Does the musical ever state where Johnny served? If not I'll just make it up, but I don't want to say he served in one place when the show already tells us.
