So I made it back safely!!!!

But Michigan could have a Quasi-Linear Convective System tonight and I'm not exactly sure what that is, but it talks about a large possibility of straight line winds and small tornadoes can also form. Tornadoes that would be very hard to pick up in time to give warnings.

So basically it'd be like the last time my town had a tornado and it will have passed through the town before the sirens even go off.

We're also getting predictions of ping pong ball sized hail, and up to 70 mph winds with likely power outages out here in my cornfield, so that's great.

But I'm at home and cozy with hot chocolate and am watching In the Heat of the Night, so I feel much better.
