Okay, I have a confession.

I am a HUGE name nerd.

I love names and have ever since I was younger. When I was 7 I found my Mom's Baby Name Bible and read it for fun.

I'm also a member of Nameberry--three years strong.

People don't understand at all and sometimes it's a little frustrating because everyone thinks you're crazy when you freak out over a new sibset and no one wants to listen to you lament over your newest guilty pleasure name and all the reasons it's perfect but can't ever be used.

Nobody gets it, but I'll learn to live with it.

I can't help it that keeping up with the newest name trends is something I do; I can't help it that I love naming and researching names.

Plus, Nameberry has a Writer's Corner forum where you can ask for advice on naming characters and even just rant and get advice about writing in general.

It's very therapeutic.

Anyway.... just thought I'd let y'all know something about me that I haven't shared yet.

Honestly, my friends don't even know and most of my family doesn't either. The ones that do think it's weird, but oh well
