So in 'Watch What Happens' Katherine has a lovely line. "Power tends to corrupt and absolute power wait, wait corrupts absolutely! That is genius!"

I am sure that I was not alone in finding humor in this sentence. I laughed and thought, just Katherine being Katherine! Then I liked her even more. But that's not what this is....

When she said "like someone said" she meant it. And it wasn't a funny misquote where she made up the end because she couldn't remember it.

"Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely." That is a real quote. It was said by a British politician and historian in the 1800s. Some guy "The Right Honourable The Lord Acton" John Acton.
