First off, I'd like to say that I was the assistant director in my school's production of Into the Woods so I've been super busy these last few months. But we had our last show last night and I should be updating more and may finally get to my story!

Now, on to a more pressing matter: Phineas and Ferb.

More specifically, Phinease and Ferb; Rollercoaster: The Musical.

If any of you watched it and remember that episode at all you might remember at the beginning Phineas sings a song called "Hey Ferb(I Know What We're Gonna Do Today)".

During this song as he sings about what they're going to do the two boys go through several scenes. When I was young I was dumb and I completely missed it. I thought they were just random scenes; I didn't understand the joke.

For some reason, I rewatched that scene today and as soon as they reached the chorus I burst out laughing.

Phineas and Ferb(plus background dancers) were recreating a scene from Cats.

Immediately I knew that it was because that episode was a musical and I thought it was clever and kind of sad that, like myself, most kids wouldn't have understood.

I thought that was the end.

It wasn't.

After Cats, they recreate scenes from a whole list of musicals, in order; The Phantom of the Opera, Oklahoma!, Singin' in the Rain, Fiddler on the Roof, West Side Story, The Music Man, Les Miserables, The King and I, Chicago, and Cabaret.

What?????

They wasted such a good joke on dumb little kids who could NEVER appreciate what they did!!!!

I do though and I'm still laughing.
