Okay, you guys have obviously seen Newsies. You know the part right before Watch What Happens Reprise where Katherine says something about how Jack's "go west, young man routine is getting old"?
So I was on Sporcle and I'm a history geek so I was doing famous quotes in U.S. history and one came up as credited to Horace Greeley(who Katherine also mentions at this part-"even Horace Greeley came back to New York".)
I didn't know that the "go west" thing was an actual quote. I thought Katherine was just mocking the idea or just saying it, but it's an actual quote!
I know it's not that big of a deal, but I'm still shocked. Like, what? Why did I not notice this until now????
