Man do I need one.

Sage_Dragon is all fancy and professional and has a proofreader and honestly, if I could get my friend to do that, it'd be great.

I guess my question was, what do you guys think of beta readers?

I know some people don't like them because they like to be the only one to see the material before it's published. I used to be like that, but it's also nice to have someone else proofread too.

I'm sure you all know what it's like to go through a chapter so many times that you start missing mistakes, and it'd be nice to have a safety net. Plus, they're a different person so they can tell you if a passage made sense to only you. And it's someone to bounce ideas off of.

Then again, you have to share the story sometimes before you feel ready. And(pro and con) you have an accountability check.

I don't know what the point of this was. Basically I'm a frustrated and very stressed author who's also very very confused.
