Comments: This trailer was a labor of love! It took several days and countless hours to complete. While it's lengthy, I think it really depicts some of the darker aspects of Arrows & Anchors, and is an accurate portrayal of some of my main characters' struggles. The song is fittingly called "Anchor" by Novo Amor (Ed Tullett remix), and I believe its haunting qualities and lyrics are really fitting for the mood of the trailer. All of the voice clips you'll hear in the trailer are actual lines from the book. The "movie trailer guy" voiceover was recorded by a real voice actor, and is meant to not only summarize the story as you're watching, but also to make the trailer feel more cinematic or theatrical. With Wattpad's addition of the multimedia feature, I have tried to make my entire story a very visual experience, while still allowing every reader to imagine the events unfolding in their minds through detailed descriptions. Tons of time was spent combing through Google, Tumblr, YouTube and elsewhere to find usable and relevant GIFs/MP4s. No special software was used— just basic Windows Movie Maker. I know first impressions on Wattpad can mean everything, so I have tried to put my all into this trailer, just as I have with the story. If anyone decides to watch this, or read Arrows & Anchors, I wholeheartedly appreciate it and hope you enjoy the journey!

ARROWS and ANCHORS BOOK SUMMARY

The story of 24-year-old Arizonian, Brooke Fray- a troubled, quirky, deeply introspective writer, whose life and career are only beginning to take shape when she meets rising London rockstar Julian Miles, after a sold-out concert by his band Ascend the Stars.

But what was supposed to only be a (very uncharacteristic) one-night stand, turns into something Brooke could have never expected.

She is different.

He is different.

Julian awakens feelings in Brooke that she never thought imaginable, while simultaneously lighting the way to foreseeable happiness. He's a passionately burning blaze of warmth that illuminates every shadowed part of her.

As Brooke soon learns, however, every star burns out.

The darkest of pasts is hidden under blinding stage lights. While on the surface, it seems like Julian has the world at his fingertips, he shares more in common with Brooke than he originally lets on. Julian is harboring secrets from his youth that eat away at him, as Brooke tries desperately to figure him out. This becomes increasingly difficult to do, as the physical distance between them greatly strains their budding relationship.

Fame, envy, and issues of confidence lead to a series of terrible misunderstandings that eventually tear them apart.

The two must then face temptations, alone.

They learn it isn't always so easy to say no.

Julian's already poor health rapidly declines when he falls victim to addiction, and Brooke becomes the only one who can help him. There's something very special about the blood that runs through both of their veins.

Brooke's melancholic life completely changes when she's faced with the opportunity to save the person she loves... the last one that would appear to need saving.

But will she reach him in time?

Julian always told her there are no coincidences in life.

If that's so... perhaps all of the pain in Brooke's heart-wrenching past was only preparing her for what was to come, beginning on one warm June night in Tucson, Arizona.
