Chapter Three
june-bug, come on, you can't leave me 

3rd Person POV

saylor and Sarah grabbed onto each other's hands as john b stared at juno and then he came back to reality

"put pressure , you need to put pressure and I know this will hurt but we need to stop the bleeding" he told her and she nodded as she put her hand on the wound and pushed down while saylor called terrance.

"did you get the gold?" he asked and saylor stuttered

"yeah, yeah we did but junos been shot , we need your help. we're up the cane field about a mile up on the left hand side, ill drop a pin but I need you to get here" john b said and then he turned to juno

"we need you to get out of the car" he stated and she nodded as saylor got out and helped juno out , sarah followed close behind.

"juno" cleo called and juno looked at the girl and groaned, she still held her hand on her gut as they walked to the car. 

"I just texted you the address of a doctor!! tell him I sent you!!" terranced stated and juno nodded gratefully as saylor got her in the car and then he got in afterwards. sarah sat next to him as john b got in the drivers seat

"juno baby look you're gonna be okay baby" he told her and she nodded at him and then she turned to cleo

"take care of my girl john b" cleo said and she kissed junos forehead before john b shot off on the gas and they began to drive to the location. saylor held his hand on his sisters wound as he held the GPS and john b followed it.

"we're just gonna follow this GPS, everything's gonna be fine junie," john b said as he continued to drive to the location. Sarah stared at the girl as they got there, they got out of the car and john b helped the girl to the door

he handed her over to saylor as she leaned on his shoulder and he held her close. john b buzzed the button multiple times until someone answered

" I'm looking for dr. nygard" he stated

"dr. nygards not here," the man said and juno groaned

"well do you know where I can find him?" john b asked

"who are you?" he asked

"I'm a friend of terrances, okay look somebody's been shot" he replied

"Oh hell, there's a camera above to your left. lookup so I can see your faces" he said and they all turned to the camera. he then gave the directions and they walked up the stairs to the doctor. saylor and Sarah stayed close behind as they walked to the room and laid her down.

"hang on a second here," the doctor said as he went to get his stuff john b stared at juno, he grabbed her hand and squeezed

"stay with me, stay with me," he said and saylor stared at his sister in fear, he couldn't lose her. he could never imagine a life without her and who she was to him. she stared at the ceiling as she began to take deep breathes and try to think. she felt like she couldn't breathe.

they began to do the operation as saylor grabbed his sisters hand and held tightly. she felt them put a mask on her and she continued to take deep breathes from it as the man took the bullet from the wound and she cried out.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry" john b whimpered and she nodded, she felt under the weather and she knew what was coming but she wasn't ready. she wasn't ready for this . not yet, it wasn't supposed to happen like this. she fell under sleep and not soon after was she gone.

the monitor flatlined and she was gone

"june-bug, come on, you cant leave me. not right now please" saylor cried out as he held onto her and he sobbed

"JUNO, no, no, no. junie please" john b begged as tears began to flow down his face and sarah held tears in her eyes. they all stared at the girl on the table as she wasn't breathing and she was gone.

"JUNO WAKE UP. PLEASE WAKE UP" John b sobbed as he grabbed her and he held her close. saylor turned and sobbed into sarahs shoulder as she held him and they all sobbed about the girl who laid out on the table , john b slid down the wall and sat there. he didn't know how long he had sat there, he didn't know how long he had cried.

juno was the one person he needed and she was now gone. he couldn't do anything about it, he couldnt bring the girl back he wasn't able to. soon enough saylor looked at the monitor and there it was, a pulse

"doc, doc" john b called and he walked out as he put his hand to junos neck and he felt for a pulse, he smiled at john b and the others. they decided to leave and let her rest, juno opened her eyes and looked around before she saw the others and then she smiled

"saylor" she called out and he ran over to her as he made sure that she stayed sitting and he didn't let her get up. she smiled at him softly and then she groaned as she felt the stitches in her stomach.

"go get john b for me please" she said and he nodded as he kissed her forehead and then walked away and brought john b over.

"look you guys need to get to cleo and terrance, we need to go and we arent letting ward win this. this is your chance, I'm fine , we're going" juno said and she stood up as they left and walked to the car. john b made eye contact with saylor and they both shrugged as they walked together.

dr.nygard let them take the car as juno climbed in and saylor climbed in the back with sarah and they drove off. juno leaned her head on the side of the car as they drove off. they began to drive down side roads to get away from the cops as fast as they could

"jesus john b you almost ran someone over" saylor said and he scoffed as john b hit someone and stopped the car.

"he just did hit someone" sarah exclaimed and she got out as she helped the person up , cleo got in and she looked at juno

"you made it out" cleo said and she leaned forward as she hugged the girl and juno hugged her back as they continued to drive. cleo explained the situation

"does this thing go any fucking faster?" juno asked and saylor looked at the girl in shock, she was mad and he could tell. they drove back to the warf and they hid from people before cleo came back and helped them out.

"stay low" cleo said and she walked off as sarah and john b began to talk to each other about the situation and then they walked to the boat. they got on and they began to look around before there was the sound of a gun cocking

"hey , you there. put your hands up, I said put your hands up" he said and cleo hit him from behind as he began to fight the girl and john b started the boat and got them out of there. they continued to ride with the boat as far as they could.

"hey saylor, do I have permission to make your sister my wife?" he asked and juno looked at him

"maybe later in our life jb, maybe later" she said and she leaned in as she kissed him and he kissed her back.

they would be okay, for right now that is.
