REN POV

He walked inside and I was visually freaking out. When he wasn't looking I made my way to the bathroom and slipped inside. I quickly started pacing around the small space.

"Ok Ren, the guy you have the hugest crush on that you just met today is inside your house. Yeah that's totally not a bad thing, is it?" I whispered to myself.

Maybe you should just go out there and tell him what you feel and if he doesn't feel the same way then that's how it is.

"This is first and only time I will ever listen to you inner mind."

Hehe no it won't

I rolled my eyes, sighed, and opened the door. When I opened it he looked at my direction and sighed as if he was looking for me. I smiled nervously and he smiled back.

"So um, I don't really have anything to do in here I was actually thinking about going to the park."

"Well we can go together if you want."

I could slowly feel my face become warmer and warmer.

Control your hormones!

"U-uh sure I'll just go and get ready. Um make yourself at home while I'm at it."

I left quickly sweating all of over my face. Once I reached my room I closed the door and started to look for something nice to wear. While searching through my closet I finally picked out a good outfit. A black long sleeved shirt with a white shirt over it and black jeans. Then I picked up my dark blue vans.

I thought about how cold it was and put on my black scarf and brown jacket. Once I was done dressing myself up I went to the living room. He was sitting on the couch scrolling through his Instagram feed. When I walked in he looked up at me and grinned.

We walked out and I realized that I had forgotten my phone in my room. I excused myself and quickly went to retrieve it.

Idiot

"shut up." I whispered.

I went back to the front door and apologized for the hold up. We started making our way to the park in silence. I felt awkward with every second that passed. Even though it was cold my face felt warm just having him next to me.

"I never thought it could get this cold, have you?"

"Uh n-no it's never really been this cold before."

"Yeah, it's actually pretty nice though, you get to be inside your home all nice and cozy, especially with a lover."

"Y-yeah it's really great to have someone close to you to keep you warm isn't it?"

"Yes, but unfortunately that's never really been the case for me."

"Oh."

"Yeah, I mean I've been in maybe one or two relationships but they never lasted too long."

"Ah I see."

We continued walking until he asked a question that never even crossed my mind.

"Have you ever been in a relationship?" (I don't know if Ren has actually been in a relationship so if you're reading this right now Ren, sorry in advance.)

"W-well no actually." I rubbed the nape of my neck nervously.

"Really? Like never?"

"Nope, not really into it you know?"

No stupid, you're not supposed to say that!

"Well it's not that I'm not into it it's just-"

"Yeah I know what you mean don't worry."

"Oh, that's good I suppose."

I took my hands out of my pockets to let them feel the cold atmosphere. I was surprised when our hands brushed against each other for a second. I moved to the side a little so it wouldn't become awkward. I looked at him through the corner of my eye and noticed him smirking a little.

Oh ho ho someone's interested

I bit my lip in anger due to my inner mind. After a while of walking we finally reached the park. I sighed in relief since walking in the cold really was a pain in the ass. I suggested we sit on the swings which I quickly regretted but he accepted my request.

We sat down enjoying the silence and the sound of the wind. Whenever I let out a breath I could see it turn into a puff of smoke. I wanted to speak but of course my mouth decided against it and we just sat in plain silence.
