[01] Paranoid

Kelsey's POV

"Come on! Run faster!" Peter shouted from the other end of the room. Peter and I were currently in some abandoned warehouse, doing some training. Yup, training. Over the summer, all I've been doing is training, training to be an awesome kick-ass werewolf.

"I'm trying!" I shout back.

Peter has been waking me up at 5am every fricken morning just to train and then I'd finish about 7am. It's so annoying, I'm definitely not a morning person at all. I have asked if I could start about 9am then finish at 11, but apparently waking up early in the morning makes me have more energy and is entertaining to watch.

"You're not trying hard enough! What do you think is going to happen when you're in a fight, huh? You die. Do you want to die?"

"No." I sign.

"Well try harder, fight like your life depends on it." Peter advised.

Aside from training, sometimes I would help Isaac, Derek and Peter with trying to track down the alpha pack, to get Erica and Boyd back.

Oh yeah, now there's a whole pack of alphas in Beacon Hills. I don't know why they're here, but something tells me it's not good. Erica and Boyd have been gone for four months! I miss them so much, I just hope they're okay.

Isaac's been getting along with my brother surprisingly, which is good, but I don't know if it's all just an act. And speaking of Scott, he wasn't too happy when he found out I was a werewolf, which I'm not surprised.

I told mom too, but she was confused as to why I wanted to be a werewolf in the first place, and a little scared I'd accidentally hurt her because I still don't know how to control myself properly yet.

Which is the reason why I moved into Derek's new home, which is a loft...a massive loft that has access to the roof, so it's really cool. But the only thing I would change, is maybe add some colour. My room is probably the only room with a bright-ish colour, which is like a navy-purple.

Oh, and Stiles grew his hair out, and it looks amazing! Plus, mom told me Scott has been studying really hard for when we go back to school. And now that I'm healed because of the bite, I no longer have a broken hand and I can go back to riding my beautiful motorbike.

"Okay, I think that's enough today." Peter tells me. Oh thank The Lord, I thought I'd have to do it for another two hours for a second. "What is with you today? You seem distracted." Peter asks as he walks towards me.

"I'm not." I lie.

"Yes, you are. It's because Isaac's been gone for three days, isn't it?" Oh great, I was trying to forget about that, now he just reminded me. Sighing, I turn my head away. "He's going to coming back." Peter says, putting his hand on my shoulder.

"No, he won't. The alpha pack are keeping him like they are with Erica and Boyd, he's not coming back." I cry.

"Oh god. Look don't cry, okay? If you take your mind off him, he might just come back unexpectedly." Peter's right, I'm just killing myself worrying about him.

"Come on, let's go." Peter finished, before grabbing my bag. Following Peter, we jump on my motorbike and drive home.

Once we got back, I went straight to the fridge, and thank god Derek didn't eat my left over pizza. Walking up to my room, my phone starts to ring. "Hello?" I answer, not bother to look who it is.

"Kelsey, it's Stiles."

"Oh, hi. What's up?" I wonder what Stiles wants, he never calls at this time. "Are you busy?" He asks. Would eating pizza and about to watch a film, consider me being busy? "I guess not."

"Okay, well Scott is getting a tattoo and he wants us both there." Scott's getting a tattoo? What? Why does he want me there? Maybe I should just say I'm busy.

"Oh, um."

"Meet outside my house, okay?" Stiles says. Well I guess it would be nice to have a distraction. "Sure, I'll be there soon."

"Okay, see you then." Stiles says before hanging up.

***

"Boy, it's a good thing you drew me a picture." The tattoo artist said holding a piece of paper with two bands drawn on it.

I don't really like it in here, it smells like smoke and some sort of mouldy oder. Plus it doesn't help that it's the dodgy unpleasant part of town. It's off putting, but I'm here for Scott.

"Hey, Scott, sure you don't want something like this?" Stiles asked, holding up a book with pictures of tattoos. And this tattoo Stiles was showing looked like Jackson when he was a Kanima. Oh Stiles.

"Too soon?" Stiles asked. Scott gave him an unamused look.

"I don't know, man, are you sure about this? I mean, these things are pretty permanent, you know?" Stiles said.

"He's not going to change his mind." I say, knowing when Scott wants something, he'll usually gets it. "Okay, but why two bands?" Yeah, why the two bands? Does it mean something?

"I just like it." Scott answers.

"Yeah, it's kinda cool." I smile, earning a small glare from Stiles. "But don't you think your first tattoo should have some sort of meaning, you know, or something?" Stiles asked moving his hands all over the place, making him look like an octopus.

"Getting a tattoo means something." Scott replied.

"I don't think that's..." I'm about to say but get cut off by the tattooist. "He's right, tattooing goes back thousands of years. The tahitian word "tatua" means "to leave a mark." Like a rite of passage." Oh, okay then...I never knew that.

"Yeah, you see? He gets it." Scott defends.

"He's covered in tattoos, Scott, literally." Stiles points out. Ignoring Stiles, the tattooist got his needle thing at the ready. "Okay, you ready? You ain't got any problems with needles, do you?" He asked my brother.

"Nope." Scott replied as he turned his head away. The needle starting making a bussing sound before touching Scott's skin.

"I tend to get a little squeamish though, so..." And with that said, Stiles face planted the flood. Oh for the love of god.

In the car, we were getting ready to leave but Scott started rubbing his bandaged tattoo he just got. "Oh, man."

"You okay?" I ask.

"Kinda burns."

"Yes, you just had your skin stabbed about 100,000 times with a needle." Stiles tells him. Well, that is true. "Yeah, but I don't think it's supposed to feel like this" Scott relied, running his arm even more. "Oh, God." Stiles mumbled as he nervously watched Scott.

"No, it's definitely not supposed to feel like this." Scott said in pain. "Oh, I gotta take this thing off." Man, hope Scott's not having an allergic reaction or something.

Helping Scott take the bandaged off, Stiles moans. "No, no, no, no, Scott." Stiles cried as he looked towards the window. "Oh, Scott, please stop."

"Whoa, whoa." I said noticing the tattoo on Scott's arm was fading away. What the hell? "Oh, no, what? No, no, come on." Scott whined. How did that happen? Is that supposed to happen?

"It healed." Scott sighed.

"Ah, thank God. I hated it." Stiles let out. I kinda liked it, well, sort of. Scott looked as his friend with a frown. "Sorry." Stiles said.

"Well, I liked it. Come on, let's go." I smile.

***

"Nah, we agreed to give each other the summer... no texts, no calls." Scott went on. Yet again, we were talking about Allison Argent. I don't know why Scott can't just get over her, she's a bitch who tried to kill my boyfriend and Derek! "So then how do you know she won't be back at school then?" Stiles asked.

"After everything that happened, I'm not sure she's coming back at all." Thank god, I swear if I see her, I'll be tempted to punch her in her face.

I want her to apologise to everyone she's hurt. "Well that's good, she won't he able to stab Isaac anymore." I say but get ignored once again.

"Oh and maybe she'll-" Oh my god. "I think she is. I'd say pretty definite, you know. Like one hundred percent. Stiles says, looking at the car next to us where Lydia and Allison are. Well that's just great.

Allison's back.

Scott obviously didn't know what Stiles was on about, so I turned his head to face the window, where he started starring at her. Maybe if she looks round, she'll turn to stone....Ah, nope. Allison turned round to see Scott looking at her and that's when he started freaking out.

"Oh, my God. Oh..."

Scott tried to hide himself by lowering down on his seat, but it was too late, she'd already seen him. I'm just annoyed she didn't turn to stone, she would make a nice coat holder. "Can we just drive please, Stiles?" Scott panicked.

"Scott, it's a red light, we can't." I told my brother as he still tried to lower down in the seat and hide himself from the window. "I think we should talk to her, I just think we should say something."

"No. No, no, Stiles, come on." Scott whined as Stiles leaned over. "Oh, my God, dude, no." Scott cried before Stiles opened the window. "Oh my god, Hey!" Stiles yelled but the car drove off. Hmm, maybe they didn't hear Stiles.

"You know, they probably didn't see us." Stiles Sighed before continuing to drive.

"Anyway, it doesn't matter, let's change the subject. Ooo, how about pizza, everyone likes pizza. I had pizza last night, and it was very che-"

Scott cut me off. "What are you doing?" He asked. What?

"I'm trying to talk about-"

"Not you! Stiles." Geez, take a chill pill.

"I'm driving." Stiles answers.

"We're right behind them." Scott panicked. Oh my god, we're back to talking about Allison. Kill me now. "Okay, well, do you see any turns?" Stiles interjected. "We're on a road that goes two ways, Scott. Forwards and back."

"I don't want it to look like we're following them." Really? Why is Scott so paranoid. "Well, what do you want me to do?" Stiles groaned.

"I don't know, anything." Scott said before Stiles slammed his foot down on the breaks, causing my head to hit back on the seat, ouch! Holding my head, I notice that Allison and Lydia had also stopped. Confused, the three of us look at each other. "Why did they stop?" I question.

The next thing you know, a bloody deer runs right into the car Allison and Lydia are sat in. Jumping out the car, the three of us run towards them, seeing if they're okay. "Are you okay?" Scott asks Allison.

"It came out of nowhere." Lydia said, freaking out as she looked around. "Are you hurt?" I asked her. "It ran right into us." She replied. Hmm, seems kinda odd that a deer just ran right into a car, I mean, wouldn't it turned into the woods?

"Are you okay?" Scott asked Allison again.

"I'm okay." She breathed.

"Well, I'm not okay. I am totally freaking out." Lydia started. "How the hell does it just run into us?" She said as Scott walked round the front of the car to look at the deer. The deer was half in the car and half out, it's horrible.

Did it purposely run into the car?

Why was it running? "I saw its eyes right before it hit us...It was like it...it was like it was crazy." Lydia cried. Maybe it was running from something? A fox?

"No, it was scared." Scott said before placing his hand on the deers body, his eyes widened then his face dropped. "Actually...terrified."

Terrified? Of what?

Maybe it wasn't a fox it was running away from. What if it was the alpha pack it was running from? After all, it is near the full moon.

Something's definitely not right with this. I have to tell Derek.
