"I will teach you all there is to know about Riverclan," declared Wolfclaw. "I will tell you their fighting technique and we will train. We will become Rogueclan." Night stood beside him, licking her paw, watching the crowd of cats beneath them. Howls of agreement rose. Wolfclaw puffed out his chest, more confident. 

            "We will train here then, we will go to the abandoned Twoleg nest in Riverclan territory and we will watch them and bring destruction to them," Wolfclaw continued. "But first, we must start acting like a Clan. For now, there will be two leaders, Night and I. We will need hunting patrols and we will train hard!" Cries and shouts of agreement rose. Wolfclaw stood proud, soaking it in. 

             "You must always show your power," Night told him before padding away. "Or all cats will want to overthrow you." Wolfclaw frowned but bounded down. He spotted a big tabby cat. 

           "You," he called. The tabby cat turned, eyebrows raised in question. "What is your name?"

           "Claw," growled the cat unfriendly. 

           "Claw, gather five cat you want to hunt with and bring them here," ordered Wolfclaw. Claw growled but turned tail into the crowd. Night was organising fight trainings. Five cats appeared with Claw leading. A soft white she-cat eyed Wolfclaw with suspicion. 

           "What are your names?" demanded Wolfclaw. An orange cat stepped forward. 

            "I'm Flame," he said. "This is Sophia." He nodded to the white cat then tipped his tail at another tabby cat's direction. "That's Death Stripe." Without wanting an introduction a grey cat padded forward. 

             "I'm Dagger," he snarled and he's my brother, he pointed at a dark grey, almost black cat in the shadows. "That's Shadow." Wolfclaw nodded. 

            "You are on hunting patrol. Catch as much as you can and bring it back at sunset," ordered Wolfclaw before turning tail. He needed to show complete authority. 

            "Just because Night likes you, doesn't mean we do," snarled a low voice. It was Claw. Wolfclaw ignored him. The six cats slunk out, leaving Wolfclaw slightly doubtful about himself but he shouldered the thought away immediately.
