Eagleflight wandered through the dark, spooky SpaceClan territory. Trees towered over her like clouds over the sun on a Leaf Bare morning. She swiftly slipped threw the under-brush, checking for any other Clan scents.

Nothing. She thought, as she halted at the PebbleClan boarder. "Come on guys!" Eagleflight hollered to the rest of her patrol. "Your no better then lazy, mouse-brained PebbleClan cats!"

Slowly, the rest of her patrol came threw the bushes. Sunwhisker, followed by Bluepelt, and Blackfur.

"Not my fault you never stop running." Eagleflight heard Blackfur mutter.

"What?" She questioned him.

"Nothing." He replied rudely.

Eagleflight sighed. "Don't make me report you to Venusstar, again." She growled. That seemed to shut him up. She started to head back to camp, when Bluepelt ran up to her.

"Who's doing the next patrols?" She asked her. Eagleflight tilted her head.

"I'm not sure yet." She replied.

Bluepelt sat down, and fiddled with the bramble under her paws. "What do you want?" Eagleflight asked curiously.

"Don't worry about it." Bluepelt replied, beginning to walk back to camp. "It's nothing important anyways."

Eagleflight's head sunk in disappointment. "Feel free to tell me anything. I'm your deputy. I'm here for you." She sighed.

Eagleflight heard Bluepelt mutter something under her breath, but she didn't hear what.

Finally, they reached the camp. The sun shone threw the trees, lighting up the camp like a wild fire. Eagleflight quickly headed towards Venusstars den, which was in a cave inside great rock.

Venusstar was sleeping when she entered. Eagleflight slowly walked up to him. "Venusstar?" She asked him softly.

The leader slowly opened his eyes, taking in a deep breath of air. "Yes, Eagleflight?" He replied wheezily.

The leader was on his ninth life, his final one. He was old, and wasn't very capable of much, so Eagleflight did lots of thing for him. She didn't want to keep him doing normal things, if he was not able too.

"Borders all clear Venusstar." She continued. "Bluepelt was acting weird, but I think he's just nervous about Ferneyes kitting."

Venusstar yawned. "Good, good." He laid his head on his paws, indicating that he wanted to go back to sleep.
Eagleflight slowly left the den, to see crazed chaos outside. She struggled to push herself threw the cats, and get on top of Great Rock. She stumbled up, getting pushed my the screaming cats. "What's going on!" She yelled.

The Clan when silent. Everybody was still.

Somebody tell me what's going on! She thought.

Suddenly, Swirlpaw stepped forwards. "SaberClan is coming to attack." She cried. "They are on their way!"

Eagleflight growled. "Who are we?! TreeClan?! We're SpaceClan for StarClans sake!" The Clan stayed silent, and Eagleflight felt the urge to continue. "We can fight off SaberClan anyway! This won't be any different!" The cats cheered.

"Eagleflight! Eagleflight!" They chanted. Eagleflight grinned proudly.

"We know that they're coming, which gives us time to prepare!" She said. She was about to command orders, until a cat interrupted her.

"Not if we're already here!" The cat laughed. It was Yellowstar.

Eagleflight hissed in annoyance. "Mouse-brained SaberClan warriors!" She yelled. "We don't need to prepare! Attack!" The calm, peace full Clan had erupted into a chaos of screeching, and screaming cats. Eagleflight swift ran through the battle, trying to find Venusstars den. Suddenly, a cats claws impacted her face.

Eagleflight leapt away, and turned to see Longtooth, the SaberClan deputy, ready to attack her. She leapt at him, her claws slicing smoothly threw his leg. Longtooth screeched in agony. Eagleflight grinned at the sight. Longtooth ran back into the crowd, and Eagleflight continued searching.

After another few minutes of searching, Eagleflight was attacked by Longtooth again, but this time, he had backup. Tigerpaw, Stoneclaw, and Coldwhisper now stood beside him. Eagleflight pushed herself into a fighting stance, as did her opponents. Tigerpaw jumped at her, but she easily ducked out of the way. Coldwhisper raked his claws through Eagleflight belly, and she hissed in pain. The four cats laughed. Suddenly, a cat jumped in, and attacked. It was Cometblaze.

Cometblaze, Eagleflight's mate, is one of the most vicious warriors in the Clan. He's never afraid of a potential opponent, which is going to get him killed some day. He is extremely good at fighting, and hunting, but he can be over protective, and lash back at anything.

Eagleflight sprinted towards Venusstar's den, now that she could finally see it through the many cats in camp. She sprinted towards it. Eagleflight's claws skidded on the hard stone, as she ran up to her leader. Her leaders body lay all spread out on the stone. As Eagleflight ran up to it, she noticed something hiding in the shadows. A large yellow Tom, with bright yellow eyes, and sharp, long, teeth. Yellowstar.

Eagleflight charged at him. He squeaked in surprise, and ran out if the den, leaving Eagleflight alone with Venussstar. Eagleflight walked up to Venusstar's body. Blood poured out of his throat. Tears threatened to fall down her face, but she struggled to hold them in. "Eagleflight." Venusstar said suddenly, make Eagleflight jump.
"You will be a great leader."

"I will never be as great as you Venusstar." She stuttered. "Please, don't journey to StarClan just yet."

Venusstar smiled sadly. "I'm sorry Eagleflight, my time has come."

A tear fell down Eagleflight's face. "Venusstar, please-" but Venusstar cut her off.

"Good luck Eaglestar."

Venusstar's body fell the the group limp. It shook, then fell limp once again. Venusstar is dead. Eagleflight thought.
