RiverClan's apprentices keep going missing. They accuse the prey-hungry ShadowClan of holding them hostage for food. ShadowClan denies the claims. The real kidnappers are a group of rogues who are secretly feeding the conflict for their entertainment by planting evidence against ShadowClan. This results in a war between the two Clans who start trying to rope other Clans into their conflict.
