Tree is by far my all time favorite male character. While at times he can seem slighty Gary Stu-like, if you look closer at his personality, you'll see he's awesome. He's goofy, he's strange, and gets frustrated easily. This good mix of flaws and strengths makes him feel real, even like he might be a person you'd meet in real life.

 One of our first glimpses at how goofy he is, is of course, the famous scene  where he flirts with Violetshine when they've barely known each other for more than a few minutes. (Okay, it isn't famous, but it is in my head.) This makes him again, feel real. 

Our second glimpse at his strangeness is his think bush routine. Some people might find it weird and pointless, but i think it makes him stand out and shows us how different he is. 

His struggle to find his place in SkyClan is so interesting. When he becomes a mediator, he's seen as wise and reasonable, which I like. When he gets frustrated to the point of considering leaving SkyClan because he couldn't solve the SkyClan-ShadowClan problem. 

It would be nice to see his point of view--no, I'm not about to read Tree's Roots--not about his parentage and where he came from and stuff, but how he felt about leaving to be a loner for that short time in Raging Storm, and how he feels about Rootspring hating his guts.
