Oceanheart and Firestar have, secretly, been mates for 2 moons. No cat suspects a thing, not even Sandstorm, luckily. They both try not to let their relationship get in the way of their duties. Cherrykit and Molekit also became apprentices, they are now Cherrypaw and Molepaw. Dovewing was Cherrypaw's mentor and Oceanheart had gotten Molepaw as her first apprentice. Oceanheart, Molepaw, Berrynose, Leafpool, and Brambleclaw have all returned from their hunting patrol. They caught a few mice, a couple squirrels, a rabbit, a pigeon, and a small vole. They dropped their fresh-kill in the pile, the moon was beginning to rise and everyone decided to head to their dens. Oceanheart curled up in her nest and fell asleep.

*Small Time Skip*

The moon was high above the trees and everyone was asleep, all but Jayfeather. He padded to Firestar's den and meowed.

"Firestar." he hissed, Firestar slowly awaken and stared at Jayfeather.

"What is it, Jayfeather?" he hissed back. Jayfeather signaled Firestar to follow him to the medicine cat den. They padded across the clearing and sat down in the den.

"I have received a prophecy from Starclan." he began, it, immediately, got Firestar's attention, "What is it?" he asked. Jayfeather closed his eyes and reopened them.

"Fire and the ocean have always been rivals, but when they are needed most, they will join together to stop the dark forces that surround them. Only one survives."

Firestar was shocked at this and nodded to Jayfeather, "Thank you, for telling me." he mewed. Firestar padded to his den and wondered. Fire and the ocean, what did that mean? Then realization struck him and he panicked at the thought that, what if it was talking about he and Oceanheart? Did the prophecy announce her death? Or his death?
