So this book is kind of just going to be my OC dump, I'm not really looking for critique or anything (I mean you can if you want but I don't really have time for editing as exams are soon) I just want somewhere to put my characters.

I made this character years ago when my writing ability was a lot worse and I was very cliché (it's still not great tbh lmao) so he's not really good but I kept him as he's special to me in a way, my first OC.

Backstory (mostly going to do this in bullet points, so much effort for such an old cliché story man)

-Mainly Duskstorm's Choice, Again I apologise for the cliché story but I reiterate I knew almost nothing about Warrior Cats and decent writing when I made this :')

- Started off as a horseplace cat, became a loner after Sugar (mother) told him to flee when the twolegs began destroying the horseplace and selling all the animals

- Ran with Squid (yes he's named by twolegs and kept his name, sort of like SkyClan cats) to the forest, they remained there until they were around apprentice ages.

- Tiger was hit by a monster while trying to hunt, Vinetail took him into ThunderClan with Softstar's reluctant acceptance and Squid desperately searched for him

- The cats were attacked by rouges while Tiger was still healing, he had been planning to leave after Vinetail let him go. The Clan however asked him to stay (with a few people who objected) after he used his climbing abilities to save an apprentice who was going to fall, Wishpaw. The leader's daughter.

- He had hope that Squid would find him so he decided in his mind to stay temporarily, Softstar naming him Duskpaw for the sky's light when he saved her daughter

- Duskpaw trained with Pebblepelt and they developed a good relationship along with Wishpaw, although her mentor thoroughly disapproved. Some cats liked him and some didn't, though they were more sympathetic towards a loner than if he was a kittypet

- He becomes a warrior by the name Duskstorm

- While he was hunting he discovered Squid, who was overjoyed to see him. The idea of leaving had vanished from his mind with the thoughts of Wishpaw, and he was torn between the two cats he loved.

- The whole Clan fell into turmoil when the leader let Squid join as Squidpaw under the instruction that Duskstorm taught him all he'd learnt, many cats were furious, calling it the destruction of a pure bloodline. Softstar silenced them as long as Duskpaw kept his promise, and the sickness combined with the rouges caused the clan to need more cats.

- The rogues form their own Clan called 'FrostClan' after their leader Morningfrost, matching to Vinetail's prophecy of:

"Dusk's light will shine through and melt the bitter dawn's frost" (creativity Dusk, truly)

-Squidheart becomes a warrior, Softstar a little confused by Squid's request to keep his name but complying anyway.

- Duskstorm continues to fall in love with Wishtail while Squidheart falls for a cat called Fogtail (Really young dusk, two 'tails?') who unfortunately despises him. Nobody is sure why he loved her, perhaps he had something for 'fierce' she-cats. She eventually warms to him after he helps her fight off a cat in a FrostClan attack.

- At a gathering, Softstar informs the other clans of 'FrostClan,' to which they coldly reply that ThunderClan can deal with their own problems, ShadowClan poking fun saying that 'They have enough loners to solve them after all.' The gathering ends in a fight, which StarClan disapproves of and a storm kills the RiverClan deputy. The cats are shocked and quickly leave, taking the hint.

- Morningfrost is frustrated with their lack of progress, and she decides to recruit more rogues in order to take over ThunderClan for good, desperate to become a 'true clan.'

- Soon after Wishtail and Duskstorm have their first litter of kits, Dawnkit, Lightkit and Shadowkit (yes I know Shadowkit can't really be a name), and are terrified when Morningfrost invades with a huge amount of rogues. Fogtail defends her friend's kits while Duskstorm goes to fight. Unfortunately, Fogtail is killed, and Squidheart is devastated. Duskstorm nearly dies when he charged in to fight the 'deputy' without a plan, and has to heal in the medicine cat. Vinetail scolds him for his stupidity, and he becomes determined to avenge Fogtail and come up with a better plan. Squidheart remains closed off, and refuses to participate in the Clan's meetings out of grief.

- TIME SKIP after lots of planning and strategic crap I can't be bothered to include its 10:30pm in the UK alright :')

- This time, ThunderClan finds FrostClan's camp first, and they attack, Squidheart reluctantly following his Clan into battle. Duskstorm kills a cat that he and Pebblepelt (who was getting older) fought off together, while his clanmates continue to fight. He is nearly killed by another who is finally bowled over by Squidheart and knocked unconscious by the fall onto a rock, and the two reconcile after he had blamed Duskstorm's lack of intervention and his kits for Fogtail's death, and apologises. The two then confirm their 'brotherly' relationship and fight together.

- Duskstorm eventually reaches Morningfrost after Softstar is lying on the ground, losing a life. He fights her and nearly wins, until her deputy comes out nowhere and nearly kills him (jeez Dusk stop nearly dying). Squidheart sees the cat and fights him, finishing him off with Vinetail. Duskstorm gapes, asking Vinetail how she did it, to which she annoyedly comments that she did have some fighting training as an apprentice. He awkwardly apologises, before turning back to Morningfrost. He asks her about her motives, to which she replies that power is the only thing a cat should desire, and he would never have it.

- She then summons one of her cats, who has Pebblepelt hanging in her unsheathed grip, covered in blood. She orders that the clan surrender in return for his life. Duskstorm is speechless, before Pebblepelt ruins the silence when the old tom attempts to attack to attack the she-cat who had inflicted his injuries. She kills him easily, he's too old and weak. With a devastated yowl, Duskstorm leaps on Morningfrost and they struggle for a while, before Duskstorm uses a move Pebblepelt taught him and shows her no mercy, filled with rage. The clan screech in fury and flee.

- The Clan grieve for their dead, before Softstar announces a new deputy. After his good training of Squidpaw and fighting in the battle, Duskstorm is made deputy. He is conflicted as Morningfrost's comment about power haunted him, but he agrees for the sake of Pebblepelt's legacy and his Clan.
