Leafheart sat by Kitestar,formerly Kitefeather, overjoyed.She was deputy and her mate was leader!Now no-cat would ask if poor Spottedpaw was infertile!

      "Calm down,"Spottedpaw said, looking at Briarkit, Birchkit and Tigerkit's antics."Thank you for this, Spottedpaw,"Spiderlight said.
"No problem,"The tom said,carrying Tigerkit back into the nursery.
"What's outside?"Birchkit asked,her ash grey pelt shining.
"Foxes and badgers,like I said,"Jaypaw said.

      Gourgepaw followed Leafheart out of camp.A falcon circled overhead."Go to the nursery!Tell everyone to keep an eye on the kits!"Leafheart cried.

      Gourgepaw ran into the nursery."There's a falcon nearby! Keep an eye on the kits!"She cried.
"Where's Birchkit?"Spiderlight cried.

      Birchkit ran from the huge falcon and it swooped down,slashing at her shoulder.She desperately ran towards the nursery.Spottedpaw ran towards her.

      The falcon grabbed Birchkit!Spiderlight scratched the falcon's eye and it hurtled to the ground.The Medicine Cat, Ivyleaf,carried Birchkit to the Medicine Cat Den.

      Kitestar watched the young she-cat be carried into the den,her shoulder bleeding profusely.He walked into the Medicine Cat Den,worried.

      "Is Birchkit okay?"Kitestar asked,his hazel eyes filled with worry."Get me Chervil Root,Goldenrod and Goose grass!"Ivyleaf said.Berrypaw-the Medicine Cat Apprentice-nodded and ran out of the den.

      Kitestar walked over to Birchkit."Will she make it?"He asked."With a lot of care,I think she'll live,"Ivyleaf said"And can I have a word with you?".
"Sure,"Kitestar said,nodding at Spider light to leave.The Queen shook her ash grey head."Okay,what is it?"The StoneClan leader asked Ivyleaf.

     "Why did you let Robin paw be apprenticed?She should've been postponed by a moon or two!"The Medicine Cat said. "If ThunderClan attacks again,we need every available warrior and apprentice,"Kitestar said.
