      Gourgepaw huddled close to Beetlewish as the water flowed into the elder's den.Cedarwhisker was missing and the Elder's Den was flooding!

      Beetlewish,Cherryflower and Gourgepaw huddled together as water flooded inside."Leave,"Cherryflower told Gourgepaw."No,"She replied.The water was around the three cats' bellies."There's a tiny gap in the corner.Get out of here!"Beetlewish cried,pushing Gourgepaw through a small gap.

      The young she-cat clawed at the small hole.Beetlewish
pushed himself through the gap."I'm stuck!"He cried!

      Gourgepaw pulled Beetlewish out of the hole. Cherryflower pushed herself through the hole."Are you okay?"Gourgepaw asked.
"Why did you save us?"Beetlewish asked.
"Nobody should die so painfully,"Gourgepaw said.

      Spottedpaw helped Briarkit onto The Highledge."Is everyone here?"Spottedpaw asked.
"Where's Toadkit?!"Cried Frogleg.

      Spottedpaw ran back into the nursery and saw a black kit drowning in a huge puddle.The apprentice picked Toadkit up and ran back to The Highledge,delivering her to her mother.

      Mousepaw and Robinpaw ran to Spottedpaw."Have you seen Rainpaw or Brackenpaw?"Mousepaw asked.
"No!"Spottedpaw answered.
"Everyone,get into the Medicine Cat Den!"Kitestar cried. All the kits ran towards the Medicine Cat Den.

      Eventually,all the Clan were accounted for except for Briarkit,Leafheart,Rainpaw,Brackenpaw and Cedarwhisker. "Everyone,stay in here!"Kitestar yelled,running out of the crowded Medicine Cat Den.
