The song at the very top is so beautiful. I absolutely love it. I might attempt animating it when my drawing skills get better and I figure out how to animate. Also, listen to the other songs I put here. They're really good and they inspired this book. -S

Thomas' POV
I stalked through the forest with George and Charles behind me. Charles carefully carrying his leaf wrap. I asked George to spread out a bit and see if he can find anywhere suitable. Eventually, Charles stumbled upon a large field with a few caves in the rocks surrounding it. "Perfect. Charles, go set up the beds in that cave over there." I said, pointing my tail in the direction of he first cave. He nodded and took his leaf wrap over. George was sitting nearby, a mouse at his paws. George picked it up.

"I got some information for you, Thomas." George said, dropping the mouse at my feet. I nodded and indicated for him to continue. I began eating the mouse at he explained he had found some cats hanging around the human place and that they might be willing to help me. I smirked and offered the rest of the mouse to him.

"Thank you, George. Stay here will Charles, I'll be back later." I said leaping to the arch in the rocks, which led to the entrance.

"Alright!" He shouted back.

     Charles' POV

I heard George yell "Alright" before padding into the cave I had just finished setting up. "Hey, Charles." George greeted. My tail twitched, but I refused to speak to him, or anyone really. I just don't want to have to stay here anymore. Besides, I never had anything interesting to say, and when I do, it's never heard. So what's the point?

George ate the rest of the mouse Thomas left and stretched out lazily in the field. You lazy ball of fur! I snorted but still said nothing. Once I made sure every bed was warm and comfy, I went out and explored the field, trying to get used to all the rocks surrounding it.

Sniffing in and around the caves, rocks, and field, I could conclude that this was a safe area. There were no scents of any other animal except the little mice and voles running around occasionally. I sighed and sank into my bed back in the cave. I didn't sleep last night, so a quick nap won't hurt...

     Alex's POV

I was still trying to calm down after Peggy is constantly trying to get me to talk to John about how much I "love" him. I mean, I do love him, but I just can't waltz up to him and say "Oh gee, I really like you a lot and I just wanted to say that I love you with all my heart" after a day of knowing him. "Alright, Alex, I'll let you go for now. But do remember, this conversation isn't over." Peggy says, looking me in the eye.

"Okay, Pegs. Thanks." I say, walking back over the group. She quickly stuffs the last of the herbs in her rock and bounces over with me. "How are you so happy all the time, Pegs?" I ask her.

"How are you so depressed all the time, Alex?" She counters.

"Got me there I suppose." I replied, stifling a laugh. When we reach them, Eliza and Angelica had joined them.

"Alex!" Herc gasped.

"What is it, Herc?" I sigh.

"You're still alive! She didn't claw you into shreds after all!"

"Is that all you had to tell me, Herc?" I asked, stifling a laugh at his childishness.

"Nope. 'Liza wanted to talk to ya privately." Herc said, emphasizing privately. I roll my eyes at him and glance at her. She got up and walked toward a rather empty part of camp. She sat on the grass and averted my gaze until I sat in front of her. Then she looked up and took a deep breath.

"What's wrong, 'Liza?" I ask when she hasn't spoken yet.

"I-i love you 'Lex. I always have, I just didn't know whether you'd have mutual feelings for me, so I didn't say anything until now." She said, coming close the my face.

"I-i, uh, d-don't know what to say Eliza, except that I ha-" I began, but Eliza cut me off.

"I knew you cared too!" She mewed happily before bouncing over to Peggy.

"Wait, Eliza, you didn't let me finish!" I cried. Too late, she was already passing the news to the group. John got up and excused himself, stalking past me and through the entrance of the camp.

What have I done?

Here's another chapter that's late because I'm tired. Anyway, here and I hope you enjoyed. -S
