Cowpaw reared to her hind legs watching RavenPaw leap more gentle then per- usual, his shoulders slumped.

She saw as his eyes targeted her stomach and she extended her paws forward ready to place them on the sides of his head.

Drawing his lip back in a snarl he raised his paws higher and CowPaw was to late she lowered her paws trying to get a grip on his head. He shoved his paws on her and she fell backwards and he pinned her down.

She spat and looked back at his paw it was loose. She placed her paws on his stomach kicking him off. As he flew through the air and on the sand dust sprayed around him.

When he landed lowering himself on his paws she immediately leapt onto his head rolling it and then placed her two feet on his stomach. Lightly she released his shoulders and knew she would win.

Quickly growing from her ego when she was kicked off. Though she knew it would be hard she didn't stop she watched as his eyes aimed at her paws and she remembered the tricks that he used.

When he jumped at her head she crouched and he face planted in the dust. Finally she leaped on his back holding his face in the dust. He turned and she was thrown off suddenly her paw felt stiff. He snarled turning her back into the dust.

In her mind she panicked she couldn't breath unless she breathed in dust she tried to paint but got a mouthful of crud. Is he trying to kill me?..what is he doing?

She thought shaking her head ferociously . She felt RavenPaw lower his head and whisper "are you ok do I need to place my paw not as hard" he whispered.

She nodded and gasped for air. She then lifted her self and he fell off as she turned around leaping at him when he leaped at her both of them flying in the air. She placed her claws on him while in the air trying to push him down.

He got a grip on her shoulders as they rustled in the air falling on the hot sand with a thump and rolling together trying to scratch and bite. She felt tired and she wanted got ready. He layed as she fake raked his back and he turned fast pinning her on her back.

She growled and tried to get out of his grip and he purred enthusiastically. In a haste she gave up and mewed "I surrender" they both jumped away panting heavily and she gave her chest fur a lick.

She felt herself drooping and was tired she looked at Dovestripe. It had been at least three moons since her injury and she got back to training.

She missed training but still was grieving for Lightfern she hated RisingStar for this. She had ignored her for the longest of times.

As they padded back to the camp after a few repeats of mock battling she realized she was getting better as time went on she was learning how to battle. She finally got a chance.

She leaped into the piece of bracken and walked into the camp. She walked forward and saw RisingStar assembling the cats together and she turned around "Cowpaw come on you are going to come to the patrol."

He flicked his tail and CowPaw purred loudly "Really!?" Her joy rose up in her and she leaped forward. "RavenPaw you to." RavenPaw trotted forward. He was excited as well

She saw RisingStar meow "you are dismissed" they all walked away. RavenPaw looked at CowPaw and whispered "I'm sorry about what happened."

Cowpaw looked at him her joy suddenly melting into the grass behind her. She looked at her paws and sat. "I don't know.. it really hurt.." she was still upset.

RavenPaw looked to his tail and murmured "I was just excited and I know we shouldn't have talked about training when you couldn't -"

Cowpaw interrupted him "you have been apologizing for moons now! And I don't want to except it right now." She meowed, "I will accept it when I want you can't force it onto me" she hissed in a whisper she couldn't forgive him for that.

RavenPaw shook his head and his eyes were filled with sadness and bitterness "your right, I have asked for moons now, and you are to stubborn to accept that I am sorry for what I did. I would do anything for you cowpaw and I don't think you would do the same."

He stood up his tail drooping he walked away . Cowpaw felt as if the shadow on her was melting into her and making her evil. She felt stunned. And tears stream down her cheeks her ears lowered.

She felt as if she were a kit and she lowered herself on the floor she wrapped her tail around herself until she heard pawsteps.

"Cowpaw stop laying around like a dead mouse and get up and do something!" Dovestripe called. Cowpaw scrambled to her paws. She heard HollyPaw run to her "hi Cowpaw!"

Cowpaw looked at her "hi!" She greeted her . HollyPaw looked at her "what's wrong?" Cowpaw looked at her she knew she was a trusted friend she looked down.

"RavenPaw is upset with me.." she meowed.

"Trust me he will get over it he could never be mad at you for to long." She mewed sarcastically.

Cowpaw was stunned, "what?" She murmured.

"He likes you! We all know it!" She meowed slamming into her playfully. Cowpaw stood there stunned "he WHAT!?" She took a step back and shook her head .

Her head whirled like a storm in the water. "Why?" She felt like she was a terrible cat she hurt him and hurt his heart. "I...." She was speechless and her tail drooping between her legs. She looked and saw he was eating alone.

"I have to apologize...." She whispered and hesitantly began walking towards him. He is not going to forgive me I wouldn't either... "Uhm...RavenPaw...." She whispered and he didn't lift his head for even a second. "Hm.."

He muttered sounding sad. "I'm really sorry.. I couldn't control myself with Lightferns death... Everything... I'm really sorry.. very much." She whispered looking down.

He stood up and looked at her wrapping his tail around her. And placed his head on hers. "You know I could never stay mad at you for to long Cowpaw.. there's a reason why.. and I wished you'd have the same." He whispered quietly.

Cowpaws fur stood on end she was in a different type of situation and she whispered "me to.. I do..."
His eyes looked at hers and he blinked "really?.." he asked his eyes brightening a bit.

Cowpaw nodded and purred, "really!" Just then a sound in the bushes made cowpaw alert. "RavenClan is attacking!'
Cowpaw whirled around her ears went down farther then ever.

She felt something sharp at her tail tip and yowled as she felt warm blood on her tail. She whirled around to see GoldenPaw of RavenClan. She growled letting her teeth show ferociously.

She found her self stepping backwards and she used it to her advantage running at GoldenPaw and then leaped at her paws extended and claws out.

She landed onto her forepaws and held her on her back by her forepaws. As she tried to hold her down she realized that was a bad pinning position.

GoldenPaw lifted her back legs and licked cowpaw off of her and held her down biting into her hind leg. Cowpaw yowled in pain and slashed at the side of the cats face.

She slashed the side of the cats stomach and kicked her sending her flying off. She stood up not ready to end the battle and bit into the cats shoulder.

The cat yowled in pain "I surrender!" Cowpaw moved off of this cat and hissed loudly. "Get out of MeadowClan territory!" She growled leaving one last swipe at the cat before driving it away.

She heard large yowls and turned to see a Tall ginger tom with black striped slash at her mother. She ran forward just before the tall cat pinned her mom down and bit into her throat.

"No!!!!" A wail of grief came from her and everything turned into a ringing noise around her all the other cats a blur except this cat lifting its head blood covered all over it's bloodthirsty jaws.

Everything slowed down and her heart began beating as blood spills from her mother's wound. She whispered "no..no..no.no...no..no..no..NO!!" she ran not stopping for breath and got ready to leap onto this cat just before she heard it yowled in pain and be torn back by large paws.

Her father BadgerClaw pinned it down and yowled starting to scratch at it's chest with his barren claws. Biting into this cats paw and ripping it to where bone showed. He lowered himself ripping the piece of neck out of this cats fur and watching it.

He yowled in grief and so did cowpaw. Her head began to pound as she looked at her own mother. "No.. no mom.. you'll never be able to see me become a warrior!" She whispered tears flowing from her eyes as she placed her forehead on her mother's wound.

"B...." Her mother's words slurred but she looked at her with sweet warm eyes. "B..but you will be one.....s-soon...my sweet kit....so...soon.." she meowed and turned to BadgerClaw "my love... That cat was not a cat of
Evil...he was...following orders. I...it's ok my love...I will always love you.. and watch over you both in StarClan ... Never give up..w-who you are..."

Her eyes began to cloud and she shivered with one last breath. "No!" She felt tears stream down her face as her mother lie there unmoving. "I can't let you die!!!" She saw her father stare to her mother in grief and yowl loudly.

She looked to the side and noticed RisingStar staring in fear. She didn't care it was her mom, she would never be alive again, never be there to call her my sweet kit.

She looked at her mother's body. She didn't want this she yowled once more burying her muzzle in her mom's fur and not moving as if she was a frozen fish.

She wanted to stay there forever she couldn't breath without crying. She was sad. No she was devastated. "Oh mom...oh StarClan... Why.. why did she have to go?" She whispered and tried to cuddle close to her mom.

Her dad hissed "because StarClan is a backstabbing fake clan full of mouse brains! I hate clan life! She is gone!" He yowled angrily and tears streamed down his face and he put his ears down shaking his head claws unsheathed.

She was shocked at her dad's words she saw her dad jump onto an apprentice of RavenClan and bite into it's throat tearing the chunk out with no remorse. "You all will pay!" His tears. Fell on the sandy making it melt. He leaped on top of a warrior. All the cats in the clearing stayed shocked silent and terrified as this large cat begun killing.

He leaped onto the warrior pinning it down and biting into it's throat once again blood dripping from his jaws. "I will never respect clan life! I am leaving MeadowClan and I will kill every last one of you! Pitiful creatures!" grief and fury stung his voice.

"Dad.. please..no..don't le-" she couldn't speak she was at lost for words and tears ran down her face as she tried to paw her dad back closer to her.

"No! If you want to stay with your kin, you will come with me!" Cowpaws heart stung shocked by the words he said. She looked at the ground and looked at him.

"Father...I am a loyal MeadowClan cat..." Tears stung her eyes and she looked down. She wish she never spoke what she said but she wouldn't go with him.

"Then stay with them!" He yowled and ran out of the forest. "Dad...." She whispered as she lay at her mom's fur and buried her face into her neck.

Oh StarClan why is everything going wrong and everyone leaving me.. why...?
