Soft, swirling clouds of mist swallowed a small, rounded clearing. A yawning mouth of a tunnel is outlined against the misty clouds.  A small light gray she cat waited at the entrance of the tunnel, curling her outstretched claws into the ground.

"Are you ready ?" quirked a large, bulky golden tom, eyes narrowing against the swift , brisk breeze that blew in his face.

"She was born ready " responded a grumpy mew behind her before she could respond. "Especially sense I trained her!"

The small she cat's whole body trembled as she dipped her head towards the golden tom "I-I'll be fine." she gazed with wide, frightened eyes inside the tunnel, but didn't take a step back.

The golden tom nodded and touched his nose to her soft ear tip "I believe in you , Pouring Rain." he purees softly "I always have."

Pouring Rain gave him a fond gaze "I love you, Brave Hawk. " she whispered softly and glanced down at her stomach "are kits will love us when they're born."

Brave Hawk purred lightly "that's why I need you to keep safe. for are kits. for us."

Pouring Rain purred loudly "Brave Hawk, I'll be fine! They'll be fine!" she yawned slightly , and her mate stiffened "Maybe you should rest first..."

Pouring Rain shook her head "Nonsense! the sooner I get this over with, the safer are kits' will be!"

Brave Hawk sighed, bristling his golden fur "If your sure..." he concluded , licking her in between the ears and flattening his tail across her shoulders. she nodded and leaned on his shoulder.

Brave Hawk looked down at her, love and affection showing clearly in his eyes "please...do stay safe"

"I will" Insisted Pouring Rain, lifting her muzzle to the sky and sighing inwardly.  The grumpy mew sounded again "If you to love-birds are finished, Pouring Rain needs to enter the tunnel."

Pouring Rain gave her chest fur a few embarrassed licks " Um , yes, we're done " Brave Hawk gave her a long look before nodding "Yes...We are."

And with that, she entered the tunnels.
