Chapter 9
It had been four moons since Lionstripe revealed his secret, and three since he revealed his last secret. The ginger tom had fallen into isolation. He was confined to camp which didn't help the poor tom. Quakepelt left her den. I should've said something, she screamed at herself in her mind. Now he hates me...We were friends for so long...Ivypool left the warriors den to give out the patrols, "I want Bumblestripe, Strikeclaw, Sorrelstripe, and Quakepelt to go on the border patrol, and Strikeclaw, Cloudfang, Lightstream, and Lionstriii...I mean Lionblaze on a hunting patrol."
Quakepelt was walking through the forest to get to the border. "We're here!" hissed a Shadowclan cat. "What do you want now Shadowclan?" Strikeclaw hissed. "We want...Thunderclan gone." As if it was a signal, Shadowclan and Riverclan cats started to pour out of Shadowclan's side of the forest. "Do you wish to surrender here, or do you want to die" Redclaw asked. "Wait where's Leapstar?" Cloudfang asked. Cats started to shift their feet. Strikeclaw whispered in her ear, "Run! Go warn Thunderclan!" Quake looked over too Sorrelstripe, and the she-cat nodded. Both of them, alongside Strikeclaw and Cloudfang ran.

Lionstripe was bored. He had nobody to talk too other than Dappledtail. They both were wrongfully accused. He had seen Dappledtail walk into the nursery when the prey was brought inside the clan, and hadn't left since. He was just hitting a moss ball when Mousefang's new kits came running in. "It's a Riverclan cat. We must chase them out." Lionstripe twitched his whiskers in amusement. He didn't like kits, but it was these two that he particularly liked. "Oh yeah, well this Riverclan cat is here to take all the moss from Thunderclan." Lionstripe meowed. "We can't let you do that!" Screamed the youngest one Tornadokit. The older one by two hours, Silentkit, lived up too his name.
The three ended up messing around most of the day. The two kits obviously got in trouble the whole time, cause why would a bored, depressed warrior be the one that did the most. As per usual, by the end of the day, he got a stern warning from Mousefang to stay away from the two. He spent the rest of the day sleeping in the sun, after he got kicked from the warriors den.
Without warning, Quakepelt, Sorrelstripe, Cloudfang, and Strikeclaw ran out into the camp screaming, "Shadowclan and Riverclan are going too attack the camp!" All the warriors prepared their defenses. The hunting came back, and as soon as they were told what is going too happen, they left the prey in the fresh-kill pile and guarded it. Their reasoning was that they could destroy it or steal prey. The real reason was probably because they took a long time to get the prey they did.
Thunderclan was on high alert once Shadowclan and Riverclan stormed into the camp. Everyone was willing to lay down their lives right then and there. As soon as the opponents reached the Thunderclan cats, all Dark Forest went loose. Claw met claw, and Shadowclan and Riverclan weren't planning on fighting fairly. Lionstripe could already see cats from the two opposing clans making their way too the nursery. Oh no they don't. Lionstripe sprinted toward the nursery and blocked the cats way. "Your not entering this part of the camp." Lionstripe hissed. A black tom hissed back at him, "We aren't here for a tour, we're here to take Thunderclan's land." The tom paused for a bit, "Wait you're that tom cats have been talking about. Looks like Thunderclan doesn't treat you so nicely. Why don't you help us and we'll treat you like one of us?"
Lionstripe was all too familiar with that trick. He had fallen for that trick and it almost cost someone's life. "I won't join you. This clan may treat me horribly, but at least they aren't a clan of murderers!" Lionstripe hissed. The tom didn't expect to hear Lionstripe's answer. The tom was going to speak but Lionstripe didn't let him. He attacked all three of the opposing cats. They didn't know if Lionstripe was stupid or bold. They decided to attack back, and within seconds, Lionstripe sent two of them running. The tom that tried too convince him to join them, stared at him wide-eyed, "How did you do that?" The tom asked. "Get lost!" Lionstripe hissed. The tom ran off before Lionstripe changed his mind. That's when Lionstripe realized something.
It wasn't that cats were running away. It was that cats that ran off came back. We won't win at this pace, Lionstripe realized. Thunderclan themselves realized this too, and soon Thunderclan was overrun by Shadowclan and Riverclan. "Froststar, Redclaw, we surrender." Dawnstar declared. Lionstripe knew Dawnstar didn't want to risk cats dying. "Good Dawnstar. You made our job easier. But, instead of chasing you out. You will be Shadowclan's and Riverclan's puppet." All of Thunderclan were wide-eyed, but didn't say anything. They knew if they said something it would continue the fight. "But first, we need to kill a few of you." That sent Thunderclan into a rage, "You will be breaking the warrior code, Redclaw!" Ivypool screeched. "Redstar!" The red tom corrected loudly. "Leapstar is dead."

Dovewing knew Thunderclan wasn't a choice anymore. They were overrun by my own clan, she thought sadly, I hope Ivypool and Bristlefrost are okay...She was immediately snapped out of her thoughts by an approaching Jaypaw. The grey tom had changed while in Redstar's mentorship. He had become vicious. "Dovewing, the deputy needs to talk too you." She missed the days when she was referred too as mom. "Alright Jaypaw. Go back to what you were doing..." The grey snorted and left. Dovewing left to talk to Adderstripe, the new Shadowclan deputy.
As she entered the newly made deputy den, a brown she-cat came into view. "I know what your planning Dovewing." Now that was random. Doviewing just tilted her head in upmost confusion before realization settled in. She knows I'm going too- Dovewing's thoughts were cut off by Adderstripe, "And I will not stop you." Dovewing was more confused on why Adderstripe is letting her go. As if Adderstripe was Jayfeather, she quickly meowed, "I'm letting you go because I don't want Shadowclan to always be the breeding ground for evil cats. Redstar has broken the warrior code by killing Leapstar and taking Thunderclan over. Shadowclan may have taken Thunderclan over, but we will also relinquish them." Dovewing just nodded her head. "Before you leave, grab all the medicine cats and get them out of here." Dovewing nodded her head and did what she was told.

Hollyleaf was devastated by the aftermath. Daisy, Cloudtail, Dewfrost, Molewhisker, and...Ivypool. Dead! All dead! Lilyheart, Molewhisker's sister and Dewfrost's mate, Fernsong and Bristlefrost and Whitewing, Ivypool's mate and daughter and mother, and Brightheart, Daisy's frenemy and Cloudtail's mate, were hit the hardest out of all Thunderclan cats. Thunderclan was on non-stop watch by many Riverclan and Shadowclan warriors. Hollyleaf feared that Thunderclan may not become what it once was. Everybody was in a depressed state. If anybody thought Lionstripe was bad enough, he was in a much deeper depressed state. The stress of worrying about the clans well-being, worn the tom down. He didn't talk ever. He rarely ate anything. It's gotten so bad that even Jayfeather is worrying about if Lionstripe will live or not.
Hollyleaf's thoughts were broken by Lionblaze's pelt brushing her's. "You don't look like you've gotten enough sleep." Lionblaze meowed solicitously. "I haven't. I'm worried about what Thunderclan might become after this. You know better than anyone that if Thunderclan escapes Shadowclan's and Riverclan's grasp, we will never be the same." All her brother could do was sigh. He knows I'm right...Hollyleaf couldn't suppress a sigh of her own. "Well I just hope Thunderclan doesn't become killers in the end."
Once the two were done talking, they both decided to go hang out with Lionstripe for a bit.

Dovewing had told the medicine cats the plan. She would go with them and pretend to gather for herbs. Once the warriors left them alone, they would leave into Skyclan territory. I hope this plan is mine doesn't fail. Dovewing and the medicine cats continued too the exit of the camp. "Where are you going?!" A loud hiss came from the leaders den. "We're going to collect herbs!" Willowshine hissed back. "Then why is Dovewing with you?" The red leader asked. Somebody looks ticked today, Dovewing thought with a mrowww. Because we wanted at least one warrior with us Redstar. You may be the leader, but even you shouldn't question a medicine cat."
Redstar just twitched his whiskers in annoyance and stalked back inside his den. Dovewing looked at Adderstripe, who had a look of hope cross her face. I hope Redstar doesn't find out that Adderstripe sent us out. The four cats proceeded too leave the Shadowclan camp.
They had just crossed the Skyclan border when they encountered a patrol. The patrol just blinked in surprise at seeing the medicine cats and a warrior across the Skyclan border. A sandy tom, who Dovewing believed to be Sandygorse, walked forward. "What does Shadowclan and Riverclan want from Skyclan?" Sandygorse hissed. "We came on our own accord. We escaped Shadowclan and need a place to be at since Thunderclan's takeover. The tom looked sympathetic. Thunderclan was one of the most powerful and loyal cats that walked the forest. Now they were reduced too a puppet. "You will need permission from Violetstar first." The tom replied. Sandygorse signaled the four cats to follow him.
They had made it too Skyclan's camp, and they were in front of Violetstar waiting for her decision. "I think they should stay. While there is a likely chance that Shadowclan and Riverclan will attack us, we are allies with Thunderclan and Windclan. We will need every medicine cat we can get. We need all we can get too relinquish Thunderclan." It appeared that Skyclan was happy with the decision, despite the risk. Without warning, a voice came through the entrance of Skyclan's camp, "Do you really think you'll save Thunderclan on your own?!"
