As Darkstar was lead to a place full of mew and cries, he also smelled the mysterious smells.  It was filled with smell that comes through the medicine cats' den, and another unknown smell. Darkstar suddenly heard a small yelp and he turned around. It was the sound of Starpaw!! But before Darkstar can get a good look, he was forcefully stuffed into his cage. Darkstar finally turned around and saw not only Starpaw, but his warriors ( which had cuts and blood all over them because they tried to fight off the men ), the kits, who had been whimpering from all the experiments they had been tested on. Darkstar was very worried because he cannot his kits.  He also saw his deputy, Tangpaw, his medicine cat, Leafsong, and the elders. 

           Just then,  one of the man who had caught him, pulled him out of his cage. Darkstar quickly bit him and ran away to the other cages. He finally got Starpaw's attention, and mewed to her " I got the keys, take the clan as far as you can go." " Ok, I'll see you soon, right?" " MaYBe." " Darkstar it's not the time to play jokes!" " Fine, I might ok?!" "See you."...
