Ava, Paul, Milly, Mari, Caleb, Frank, Ashley, and Samuel headed to the park on their bikes, each of them handling a backpack full of bread, cookies, apples, and a dozen peanut butter sandwiches.

Half an hour later, after feading the many ducks in Tower Park, they headed out to the Senior Citizen
Center of Hollow Ave.

There, they unloaded the apples, cookies, and sandwiches and started separating them in paper bags.

"Excuse me Madam," Mari asked a worker there whose name, according to her name tag, was Daniella, "Can we borrow a marker, please?"

"Certainly," she replied kindly, "Just make sure to bring it back.

Back on the outside bench with the others, she started marking her bag.

"He likes to be called that." She said handing the marker to Milly.

"I hope I spelled it write. Here you go Frank."

"That's why you choose the one with the easy-to-spell names." He handed the marker to Ashley.
"It doesn't matter how hard their name is to spell" she said.

"Here Ashley."

"Ok I think that's all. Let's grab a bag. Ava, Caleb, and Samuel, grab two. Come on let's give the elders."

The smiles on their faces were enough to brighten their days. They spent the rest of the day in that small little room. Dancing, singing, playing with the elders. They listened to their stories for the rest of the hour until they were rushed away because visiting hours were over.

"Well, time to go back home." Said Ashley.

"Do we have too?"

"Yes we do, we'll have everyone worried sick if we're not back in half in hour, and it takes us that long to get everyone back."

After many complains, playful punches, and being rushed home once again by Daniella, they were back on their bikes, back home and sound asleep.

The next day in school, though, Milly was absent for the first time. When they went to visit her house it was boarded up, with police cars surrounding the area. Milly was moved an Orphanage nearby, being an only child, she was the only witness of the robbery in her home and called 9-1-1 after hearing two gunshots.

The same day, Ashley and Paul were absent from school. Ashley had been in a car accident and Paul was sick with Pneumonia.

Frank, Samuel, Mari, Caleb, and Ava weren't present either. Frank's sister was dead. Samuel was beaten up by a gang on the way to school. Mari had a panic attack. Caleb was missing. Ava was fine.

They all met each other at the hospital all shocked that in one day all of this could happen.

The second youngest was missing. At first they thought something happened to him to. Until they saw the news.

"-and in other news a local boys was reported to be missing after a group of people broke in his house. Witnesses say the boy looked to be about seven years old. If anyone has any information regarding the break-in or if anyone knows the boy we urge you to call the number below. His parents are worried sick and-"

Caleb was missing.

Mari turned the TV off. Ashley told the nurse to come and explained about the news. Minutes later they were joined by a group of officers. They told them everything they knew.
