No matter how much any fan may hate Firestar, there's no denying that he has saved the Clans many times. Want it or not, Firestar is the saviour of the Clans.

But wait. What if I told you that if Firestar hadn't existed, almost none of the problems would've happened? What if I told you that without Firestar, many more cats would still be alive?

Prepare to be swept away as you realize how many of the Clan's "problems" were in fact the work of the one and only Firestar.

Now, what was the first arc's main problem? Or conflict , I should say. Tigerstar's thirst for power, right? Firestar is trying to stop Tigerstar from taking over the forest. But wait. Let's take Firestar out of the picture.

Now, Tigerclaw is deputy. The only cat that knows of his crime is Ravenpaw, who probably would've either stayed silent or be killed. Tigerstar would kill Bluestar, become leader of ThunderClan, and it honestly might have ended there.

Tigerstar's thirst for power was really just to become leader of ThunderClan, was it not? If ShadowClan had been his first choice, he would've gone there ages ago.

And I'm sure part of the reason he wanted the whole forest wasn't just for power--but to kill Firestar. The cat who spoiled his plans. Seriously, did you see him targeting WINDCLAN? Nah, he ignored them. RiverClan? He formed a freaking alliance with them. He didn't care about them. He just hated the Clan that had kicked him out and forced him to become leader of a second-best Clan.

But Ember! You might be saying. What about Brokenstar and WindClan? Who fetched them?

Let's just admit it. It didn't need to be Fireheart. He was just available. Someone else would've brough WindClan back and killed Brokenstar.

Look. Bam. 90% of the conflict in the first arc SOLVED.

Of course, the problem of BloodClan still remains. But I think the Clans would've united without Firestar, and to be honest they might not have even entered the forest. Tigerstar wouldn't NEED them to take over the forest, because he wouldn't have wanted to.

There. Let's see- TONS of cats not dead from Tigerstar's rise, and LOTS more alive since the BloodClan battle possibly never happened. (Of course, if we're arguing that it's Firestar's PARENTS who never existed, Scourge wouldn't exist either...but whatever)

Next--The New Prophecy arc. Now, I suppose that Firestar didn't cause the forced migration.

Sorry, Clans, those cats still died...

Now, I'm sure that some would argue that Brambleclaw would've died without Squirrelflight. But seriously, I'm sure someone else could've figured it out.

Leafpool's role--replacement for Feathertail. I think Cinderpelt could've found another apprentice who WOULDN'T leave her to be killed by badgers.

So, without Firestar's daughters, everyone still would've been fine.

Oh, and whose fault was the Bramble-Hawk showdown...? That's right, Firestar's almost-death by fix trap.

But WAIT! Without Firestar, Hawkfrost never would've existed since Tigerstar wouldn't have met Sasha in exile!

Seriously, Firestar. You created two of the BIGGEST Dark Forest leaders in the Warriors Series. Wait, wait...without them, the Dark Forest would of never risen!

Well, there go the plots for The Power of Three and Omen of the Stars. There'd be no main characters either anyway... So, how many cats saved there? With no DF cats in training and no battle, EVERY life lost because of the Great Battle is restored! Bam! That was what...29 cats? You should've stayed out of the forest, Firestar!

Oh, what about SkyClan?!  you ask in a plaintive new.

Who cares about them? The Clans? Heck no. What about...hmm, the SkyClan cats? Nah. They don't care; they're perfectly comfortable with their lifestyle already...

And I'm sure we can all agree that Leafstar's naming skills drive us all insane.

So, in conclusion, the ONLY Warriors arc that would still have conflict without Firestar would be Dawn of the Clans.

Think about that, Firestar fans.

But remember, that's just a theory.
