There was a silence once the commotion with Erika was done leaving all of them to look at each other not knowing what to do.

As if someone switched the light on and getting all of his senses back Adrian spoke first finally being able to feel the bond between him and Scar intact.

"Enzo, get Erika into the car and hurry to the ground. Dave, Josh and Michael take these three to the car waiting outside and ask Matt to do a check up on them, hurry" he points to Smith, Mars and Bells who are lying on the ground unconscious

"Cherry, Ryan and Warren check on those mandrakes one more time, see if anything happened to them. Rom, you help Dante, make sure he is alright and those of you who are remaining, check all of the areas around to see if you can find anything useful or anyone before reporting back to me and also I want ten of you to be on guard on this place till you get a call from me" he once again orders as the men all nod and goes to do accordingly

"What about Aria?" Rom asks pointing at the woman unconscious as well

"I think this ones belongs to me" Mrs. Hans speaks as she walks near Aria before carrying her with the help of the guards out there

"Alpha, the mandrakes aren't where we last saw them" Warren informs making Ad frown

"It seems they were never there in the first place" Ryan states confused as well

"May be they disappeared the moment the dragon did" Cherry points trying to make some sense

"We will worry about that later right now I want everyone to report back on the pack grounds" Ad finalizes before he asks Warren to help carry Oliver's body

"No" Scar cries as she holds Oliver's body tightly to her

"Babe, we need to mover out of here. We are going back to the pack house and also taking him, I think it would be better if he got a proper funeral" he states as he tries to pries her away from liver's body.

"But..."

"Ssh...let me take care of it for you okay? It's been too long, you have stayed out of our home and it's time to go back, things aren't as they were when you were gone and I need you to be with me so we can start once again" Ad whispers to her as he helps her to get up from the ground

"I'm so sorry" Scar sobs as she buries her face in his chest remembering that she had left her home in chaos

"Let's go" Adrian whispers once again as he carries her in his arms.

Reaching the camp site on Adrian's pack Smith, Bells and Mars are taken to the medics. Even if they have got rid of Aria for the time being they can't celebrate yet not when Scar is mourning for both her father.

Sending Warren to prepare for the proper funeral of Oliver, Adrian checks on his pack members, then makes his way to his wife.

He finds her silently standing at the door watching the movement going on where the medics are trying to know why those three collapsed at once.

"Scar" Adrian calls as he put his arms around her for support

"They won't be able to wake up"

"How...?"

"Not until someone awakens daddy's power, each and every one of them will be frozen till then" she explains silently

"So, does that mean those mandrakes aren't around for any harm?"

"They were never made for any harm, they were just misunderstood. They stand to protect me and daddy, Adrian they always have been" she states turning to him

"It's a lot to take" Adrian sighs rubbing his face tiredly before he goes to give her one more grave news about Robert.

"I need to tell you something else...Robert is no longer with us"

Scar just stares at him without any emotions as she hears the news, she doesn't know how to react to the news as she has just lost one of her fathers and now both of them are gone.

"I...Pa...Pa..." she speaks trying hard to breathe

"Breathe...in and out...just like that...I got you okay, I will always get to you" Adrian assures as he takes her in his arms once again

Scar closes her eyes focusing only on in his words and his heartbeat trying to calm herself, she never knew that it would be heart wrenching to loose both her fathers at the same time.

She had hoped that even if her daddy left her side she had her Papa to lean on but now that he is gone...

"We are in this together baby, you aren't alone you never were or will be" Adrian whispers softly in her air and she nods grateful to have him in her life.

"Alpha" one of the medics calls out breaking their embrace as the doctor finished doing his check up on those three.

"They are breathing normally but no sign of why they aren't responding to anything, it seems they have fallen into deep sleep which they do not want to get out of"

Adrian nods thanking the medic before he pulls Scar away from the room, he needs to discuss this situation with others before taking any steps.

It seems Scar knows a lot about this than any of them and he hopes that this situation won't create any bigger problems for them in upcoming future now all he can do is wait...

Wait for the right time to see what Oliver's final word to his wife meant, when he decided to lend his powers within her and who will be the one to awaken those powers only time will let them know.

"Scar...?" Cherry calls out as he rush to her side and Ad steps back knowing they wanted to make sure she is alright

"Hello" Scar smiles at each of them before going for a group hug

"You aren't throwing us from this pack, are you?" Alice asks straight to Adrian scared

"Do I have a reason to throw you?" he teases trying to enlighten her mood

"Well, I'm mate to your beta so you don't have any reason in my regards, but you can throw them out" Alice giggles making both her brothers glare at her for that

"I don't think Scar will ever let me enter our bedroom if I threw anyone of you, you are still pack to us...

What ever happened, we all were confused as well someone was misleading us so it's not your fault. Hope next time you guys don't get caught in between some plans which has the part to take my wife away from me" Adrian warns them before pecking Scar on the forehead and leaving them for a while, alone.

"Scar, oh god it's so good to be back in here. Now all I have to do is find my mate and get a hard spanking that would be total awesome" Alice moans making both her brothers groan

"Shut up you kinkster sister, ah my ears and eyes...anyway ignoring her we go to Scar. So, all this time Oliver wasn't bad one?" Alex asks as he pushes his sister face away as she grins

"But what about the attack he did on you on that park, we ourselves treated Oliver before he order us to find you and not come back before we have you" Cherry adds confused about this whole thing

"Even I don't know Cherry, everything seems like a dream all I know is daddy never attacked me and now that I think back on it daddy was never that strong...

He always remained silent and timid yes he had days when he was very angry but...all I know is daddy wasn't the one who neither beat me nor was he the one that attacked me" Scar sighs pinching her temple as it has begun to throb now

"Don't pressure yourself I'm sure we will get to the end of this, you just relax and don't think" Alex worries as he holds Scar's hand and pull her away from there to somewhere to sit.

After providing her a glass of water Alex massages her scalp lightly making her smile thankfully.

"So, is it true that Smith, Bells and Mars can never wake up again along with those mandrakes?" Alice asks as no one speaks in a while

"Alice no pressure to her head, please" Alex scolds her which she totally ignores

"It's okay Alex; I know everyone is curious about it. I think when daddy made me the protector to his powers he also meant that everything he made is now my responsibility and no one can wake them up till someone worthy steps to take the place"

"Hmm...does that mean one of your kids will be the lucky enough to inherent all of these powers we speak of?" Alice asks excited about the news

"Ho...? Uh...I don't know that part" Scar smiles sheepishly as blush cover her whole body, she has never thought about kids.

"I think it will be one of your kids who will take the place, after all you are his daughter so the obvious, you are his only blood link" Alice shrugs as she gets up from her place when she sees her mate walk their way.

"Okay bye guys" she shouts as she runs in the arms of her mate who side steps making her fall on the ground

"That was the meanest thing ever"

Alice snaps at Warren who just ignores her and nods at Scar's way before getting inside the pack house leaving Alex and Cherry in tears with laughter.

"Ow...ow...ow...babe slowly" Dante complains as Jean cleans his wounds slowly

"How did you even get injured?" Jean asks as she puts the ice pack on his forehead

"Don't ask..."

"Oh let me explain" Rom volunteers making Dante curse at him and threaten

"As if I care...so Dante was flying higher and higher in the sky like a free bird with his bright hot pink wings and when he lands on the ground out of no where a big dragon came and lands on him" Rom explains before bursting out in laughter remembering the moment.

"Nothing like that happened" Dante pouts folding his arms

"You have pink wings?" Emma asks wide eyed before watching at his shoulders

"Show us please" Henry adds flapping his arms for Dante to take him in

Dante begrudgingly carries the boy who touches his shoulder trying to see those wings while Dante looks at Jean for help who just smiles lending a peck on his cheek before she once again watches him.

Both the kids squeal as Dante finally shows his wings making them push and pull at his feather.

"Dante, can you please let me wear it on my 18th birthday please, it's so soft. Daddy I want wings like this" Emma coos and awe's as she can't stop checking them out

"Princess, I don't think Dante can lend you his wings and baby you are never turning 18th how about ever?" Rom scowls at the thought of his girl growing up

"The fuck" Dante shouts as he glares at Emma who just smiles as she checks out the feather she picked from his wing before running out of the room.

"If I can't have it let me take a souvenir, if daddy won't get me wings I know Tony will get it for me" with that she rushes out of the room with the feather picked out of his wings.

"Can I have one please" Henry asks as he rubs his face on the soft wings

"Jean, he is bad for you. He doesn't love me" Henry states jumping into Jean's arm who giggles seeing Dante's face

"Henry, you can't ask such thing with him, he did say no right" Jean tries to talk him out but he doesn't understand

"No one loves me anymore" Henry sighs before leaving her arms and going in search of Ana

"What...you going to watch?" Dante asks as Rom doesn't make a move out of the room

"Break her heart and I break you treasures" is all Rom states as he walks out but not before ruffling Jean's hair lovingly but Dante just scoffs at that threat.

"Finally" Dante sighs pulling Jean into his arms and taking a huge breath filled with her scent

"I thought you were hurt" she giggles snuggling in his arms

"Ya it hurts real badly, it's even hard, want to touch and soothe it?" Dante grins not wasting the opportunity to tease his mate and waits for her reply

"Dante" Jean shouts before hitting on his arm

"What...I was talking about my head" he acts innocent making her blush before he burst out laughing

"You will never change" Jean shakes her head before getting away from him

"Hey, where are you going? Come back I will behave I promise" Dante complains seeing her leave his side

"I will go check on Gio; he hasn't left Erika's side after you all arrived. I will see if he needs anything, till then try to take some rest and clear your head, mate" she throws a flying kiss his way while he shouts for her to come back before jumping from the bed and following her.

"You need anything?" Gio asks for the hundredth time to Erika who shakes her head no

"Are you sure? I can bring anything for you, you sure feeling comfortable, may be you need more pillows" he asks looking at her widely

"What the hell Gio, why are you acting like a crazy, I'm fine. Don't worry if I need anything I will call for Enzo"

"But Enzo isn't here and he won't be with you 24/7 someone will have to be there for you to act normal" he states folding his arms and trying to look intimidated

"What is wrong with you?" Erika asks with narrowed eyes

"You are pregnant"

"So...?"

"The baby may get hurt and she may want to eat something"

"And...?"

"And I want to be with her in every step of her life"

"Then you should have been pregnant yourself, it's my child" Erika points out

"I'm a guy I can't be pregnant, grow up and that's my mate you are carrying so I have every right and say to it"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa...wait a second, you don't have a say in anything. I have. This is my child and you can't just come and claim her like that...

You will have to go through me; no one will ever make me give my child to them ever"

"I can't make promises now but how about when I grow up?" Gio tries once again as he knows she can't let go of a deal when she has benefits added to her

"As long as it has nothing to do with me leaving my mate, I'm good to go"

"Nah, don't worry no one knows the importance of mate than me so I won't say such things" Erika smiles before forwarding her hand towards Gio

"Deal" Gio shakes his hands with her on it

"Deal, now that what I'm talking about" Erika grins evilly

"I can't believe you just sold your child for a deal" Gio scolds at her stupidity as he knows he would have done anything for her deal or no deal all she has to do is ask him

"Hey, don't blame me she would have gone for you anyway at least let me make the best out of it" Erika shouts at him in defense dancing happily inside her head as Gio doesn't know what he got himself into.

"What's going on in here?" Enzo asks as he enters the room only to find his mate and Gio glaring at each other

"My sexy mate" Erika shouts jumping on him and placing kisses all over his face

"Whoa, whoa, whoa...jump from a cliff, why don't you?" Gio shouts at Erika as he stands alert

"Is he going to be there when we have sex too?" Erika whines banging her head on his shoulder making Enzo laugh at the pair.

"That's a brilliant idea, may be then he will have the idea how to do it with his mate" Dante shouts as he and Jean enters the room

"Fuck off!" Enzo growls not liking what he said one bit

Dante just laughs full on at his situation before he lies on Erika's bed happily. Seeing him lying on her bed Erika narrows her eyes before jumping on top of him.

"Oomph" Dante groans as he clutches his stomach in pain

"Erika!" Gio shouts once again in despair as he sees her act

"What's wrong with him?" Dante coughs as Gio touches Erika's stomach and sighs in relief

"Mate's instinct" Enzo states before moving next to Erika making sure their daughter was fine with all of her jumping on.

"This is not going to happen; she will hurt my mate before she even graces this world!" Gio shrieks in distress throwing his hands up in the air.

"Relax buddy, the baby's going to be just fine" Jean tries to assure hi but he just glares at her

"Not when Erika is the mother, she is so careless"

"Gio, you are being too much...I can look after my baby. I don't want your expertise in it"

"Oh yes, how I can forget about it" Gio waves his hands around mocking her

"Well if you forgot let me remind you I was the one who looked after you and made sure you got every luxury a kid deserves when no one was there to look after you not even your own parents!" Erika snaps at him in rage making him flinch

"I was there for you when no one was, wasn't I? Or are you trying to tell me I was a bad parent to you? It was just you and me against the world when no one was there for us Gio or have you forgotten, you used to call me your mother and I was a mother to you when no one was and don't you dare disrespect me like this...

I can look after my child perfectly" Erika states with shaky voice before she feels Enzo pulling her to him

"Hey...calm down" Enzo whispers as he rubs her back soothingly

"What's happening to me?" Erika asks as she realizes how badly she is trembling in her mate's arms

"Relax, don't think" Enzo once again whispers

"Wow" Dante whistles after a while when Erika seems a bit normal

Enzo holds her face in his palms and looks in her eyes before pressing a kiss on her temple.

"Well, it seems your wolf is just as impatient as you" Enzo chuckles as he looks any sign of any distress in her

"What...?" Erika asks in confusion not knowing what he is saying

"When Gio back talked you about you being not so careful, it seems not just you but your wolf got offended as well so she just gave us a little visit letting us know she is in there quiet early. You okay now?" He asks as he explains a bit worried after her outburst

"No, I feel tired. Darn, I can't even have a celebration sex with you now" she whines snuggling into his chest making him smile

"Sleep baby" Enzo whispers as he lay her down on the bed before looking towards a stressed out Gio.

"Come here buddy" Enzo calls out for Gio who has a tight grip on Jean hand

"I'm sorry" he sniffles before going towards Enzo who takes him in his arm

"Let's leave her for a while" he states before walking out with Gio while Dante and Jean stays with a sleeping Erika.

"Now she will never let me see my mate" Gio whines hurt for how he reacted as well thinking being away from his mate

"She won't do such thing Gio relax. I know you are worried that Erika will do something reckless and end up hurting both of them, but trust me she won't...

You know why? Because, we will both be there to catch her every time she falls. And I don't think her wolf will let her do anything that will hurt our angel" Enzo tries to calm Gio's fear as much as he can as they stroll around the compound.

"Are you mad at me for fighting with Erika?" Gio asks as he looks at Enzo with a hint of fear making Enzo smile at him in assurance.

"No, it just let me know that you will be perfect for my little piggy. I couldn't have asked for a better mate for her than you...

But there will be some ground rules for you and her, when you both grow up. We will have that whole between a girl's father and boyfriend conversation later, okay?" Enzo winks at Gio who smiles giving him an okay sign.

"What is going on in here?" Romano gasps as he watches his son and Enzo together before standing next to them

"Nothing, just getting to know each other" Enzo shrugs as he lets Gio hug his father

"I see what you are doing making amends with your future son-in-law I see" Rom chuckles wiggling his brows at Enzo who just shakes his head in amusement

"See you later buddy" Enzo ruffles Gio's hair before leaving the father and son duo

"What is this now that you have a mate you no longer want your old man to be around I see" Rom pouts at his son who in turn pinch his ears making him winch

"I love you, dad" Gio sighs hugging his father tightly feeling a bit shaken up after his fight with Erika, he will have to say sorry to her when she wakes up.

"Love you too, son...love you too" Rom smiles as he holds his son tightly to him before walking to their home.

"Ah, I can't wait to make you glow with pregnancy when our time comes" Dante sighs as he lies on the couch and laying his head on Jean's lap who plays with his hair.

"Why are you so in hurry for the kids?" Jean asks amused wanting to know his reasons

"I just don't want to be left out, I'm too old anyway and it's time I think of expanding my bloodline" Dante explains as he smiles at his mate

"Is that the only reason for you wanting kids" Jean tugs his hair hard making him moan

"No kinky stuff babe" Dante grins at her but she doesn't buy it

"Okay, fine may be a I have a little bit of selfish reason for wanting kids as soon as we mate when of course you turn 18...

I want my son to be in-laws with Adrian"

"Oh god Dante, you can't just force your child on someone else, what if our child's mate is someone else?" Jean groans at his stupidity

"I have a gut feeling that my son will mate with Adrian's daughter by hook or by crook" Dante grumbles like a kid adamant to his decision.

"You my mate are unbelievable, just promise me you won't make our kid do something just to get what you want" Jean asks him

"Oh I like the sound of it, our kid"

"Dante" Jean warns when she knows he is stalling

"Okay, okay...I will not force him to do anything to challenge the fate but that doesn't mean I can't show him the right path"

"Oh god, I can't even imagine how our son will turn out with a father like you to guide him or shall I say destroy him" Jean complains making Dante laugh

"Oh he will be perfect baby after all he will have you as his mother"

"Don't even remind me, I will be a mother in 18" Jean pouts making Dante groan at that.
