Mira awoke feeling sad and angry at herself. She had just betrayed someone. Will. She had hurt Will. She chose to make him lose. She had just done what her mother had told her to do. Make him think she and him were friends and in the end she would win the fight. Although, he almost beat her, he lost. She hadn't been under the serum he had been on until his birthday. She just pretended to sound worried. She didn't care about Will. Will is just someone who doesn't believe in himself. He believes he's weak. But he's strong and fast. He's smart and powerful. But he didn't believe he was. But it's to late now he's in our side. It's only been one day since she was in the arena. Her mother walked into the room quickly.
She smiled at her. "Everything went exactly as planned." She said and laughed. "You made him think you loved him and defeated him in battle! Mira, you're a wonderful daughter."
"Thanks... Mother, where is he now?" Mira said.
Her mothers face darkened. "Mira, he's not going to our side." Her mother said.
"Where is he?" Mira asked.
"In our testing lab. Why would you care? You were the one who betrayed him." She said.
That hurt Mira greatly. She didn't want to hurt Will. She was forced to betray him. But she regretted it greatly. She would've stopped it but she couldn't.
"Okay, Mother." Mira said.
"I have to go now, stop feeling sorry for yourself and celebrate." Angeline said.
The last thing Mira thought about before falling asleep was betraying Will.
