Ashcloud p.o.v.

It took a long time for Ashcloud to retrace his steps to where he thought Swiftflight would be. He found Sandwing near the water fake sobbing with fake grief.

What a traitor.

I clawed her ear off in the return for trying to drown Swiftflight. If I were ruder I would have clawed her face off. But I did feel like doing that. But I backed down.

I sent Sandwing back to our small camp and told Shypaw to NOT tend to Sandwing as another punishment. But Shypaw wanted to obligate. I told her No.

So Shypaw did not tend to Sandwing. So poor little Sandwing had to suffer from that scar. So what I never even cared about her. 

I walked up beside the lake where Sandwing was "sobbing" and saw Swiftflight's limp body. I picked it up lightly and dragged it to shore.

Tears filled my eyes. "Swiftflight..." I nudged her but she lay limp. "SWIFTFLIGHT!" I screeched louder. I kept nudging her more and more and more. But she lay limp. I rested my head on her cold belly. 

Shypaw came up to me. "I'm sorry, Ashcloud." She quickly checked Swiftflight's breathing and smiled with relief. "She'll live!" She cried out with excitement.

I yowled with happiness. She'll be okay!

I dragged her body to our camp. Cats gasped with horror. "She'll live" I replied. "Sandwing!" I growled. The ginger she-cat came next to him. "Yes, Ashcloud?" She asked trying to sound sweet and polite. I unsheathed my claws and scratched her cheek.

She gasped and looked at Swiftflight's body. Her breaths were shallow. Sandwing looked down. 

She slammed her paw on Swiftflight's chest. Swiftflight cried out and coughed. Sandwing kept on going. Swiftflight yowled with pain. "NOO!" screeched every cat around Ashcloud. They leaped on Sandwing. 

"LET ME GO. I'LL KILL THAT DEPUTY FOR OUR SAKE!!!!!!!!!!" yowled Sandwing with anger. She unsheathed her claws and pushed all of the cats away from her.

Sandwing was launching herself at Swiftflight when Swiftflight raised her unsheathed claw and scratched Sandwing's entire belly. 

Swiftflight stood up.

"You never kill your deputy!"

"DO YOU UNDERSTAND!"

"NEVER EVER!!!!!!!" screeched Swiftflight. 

"Tend to her. Next time if she tries to kill me she'll be executed." snarled Swiftflight. Giving the ginger she-cat a cold glare. Sandwing shivered with fright.

Swiftflight p.o.v.

Swiftflight had cleared up all of the water from her chest. She knew next time to always be alert. Sandwing was only trying to kill Swiftflight to get Ashcloud. 

Swiftflight had rested peacefully. Ashcloud guarded her that night to prevent Sandwing from coming for revenge. 

Swiftflight that morning stretched and went on a small hunting patrol on her own. She walked passed the small medicine cat den and saw that Shypaw was not there.

Swiftflight's ears pricked when she heard a loud screech of terror. Swiftflight turned. "Shypaw!" She gasped. "Ashcloud! Creamcloud!" The two warriors dashed to her. "Yes!?" They asked with fright and surprise. 

"Shypaw is in trouble! Go into the forest and try to find her. Tinyfall will take care of Sandwing! Go!" screeched Swiftflight. She followed the patrol as they bounded into the small forest. 

Shypaw was standing in front of a tree. Trembling. "NO p-please dd-don't he'll get you!" she stuttered with fear. "Who?" asked Ashcloud with confusion.

Shypaw raised her paw and pointed to the huge beast with a dark brown color. Large brown paws. With very sharp claws. The creature had small ears. 

He roared with anger. 

"BEAR!!!!!!!!" screeched Swiftflight. The grizzly dashed towards them. Swiftflight ducked under his clumsy paws. She grabbed Shypaw by her scruff and slid through the grizzly. "RUN!!!!" yowled the deputy. The patrol ran. Swiftflight took huge leaps. Soon they burst through the small camp. 

Swiftflight laid the shocked apprentice on the ground. She was trembling. "I'll tend to her. Can you get Thyme for the shock?" She asked Ashcloud. He nodded. Quickly he turned into the den where Sandwing was.

There was a yowl of surprise and then a purr. Swiftflight looked up. Ashcloud burst through.

"YOU MANIAC! ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME!?" he cried with anger and surprise. Swiftflight turned and saw Sandwing purring. "Noooo... It's just that I love you!"
