Swiftflight had called up the patrol to follow her. She leads the patrol. Angrily. Sandwing was with her. That annoyed the deputy. They arrived at FireClan.

They waited for a few seconds until a patrol came. It was Sedgehusk and Littleblue.

"Hello, SunClan... What do you need?" Asked Sedgehusk.

"Hello, Sedgehusk and Littleblue we have 5 missing 'paws," replied Swiftflight. Littleblue gasped. "That's terrible!" Swiftflight nodded.

"Have you seen our little apprentices?" I asked.

They both shook their heads. "We are sorry," replied Sedgehusk. "Could you ask EarthClan too?" continued Swiftflight. Sedgehusk nodded. "Bye!" She called out.

"Bye!" called out Swiftflight. Taking the lead of the patrol again. She trotted back to camp. The other patrol arrived. 

"Anything?" asked Swiftflight. 

"No" replied Bluebelly. She licked her medium blue belly with her pink tongue. 

Swiftflight sighed. "Time for the next strategy" She walked into Sunstar's den. Sunstar was licking her paw. "Sunstar." meowed Swiftflight. Sunstar looked at her. Her amber eyes were full of somber. "You really want to do this?" She asked. Swiftflight nodded. 

"Take Sandwing, Ashcloud, Shypaw, Creamcloud, and Tinyfall" Sunstar listed. "And ask Shypaw for herbs."

Swiftflight screeched in her mind. Not Sandwing!!! She nodded and dipped her head to walk out and announce. 

Swiftflight bounded up the HighRock and yowled. The cats assembled. "SunClan! I have the cats who will be going on the rogue patrol! Sandwing, Ashcloud, Shypaw, Creamcloud, and Tinyfall!" 

The cats who were going on the patrol flicked their tails with happiness. 

"Shypaw and Fernspots! I need you to make the bundles for our trip. The meeting is over!" Yowled Swiftflight. She turned and bounded down the HighRock.

Ashcloud p.o.v.

Ashcloud snarled as he heard Sandwing's name. The ginger she-cat bounded to him and smiled. "Are you ready? For the patrol. Cause it'll be fun!" She replied. Flicking her tail from side to side happily. Ashcloud lashed his tail and turned around.

"Ashcloud?" She asked. Ashcloud turned and glared at her with hate. Sandwing froze. "Oh..." She turned and walked away. Ashcloud growled when he turned and saw Swiftflight's pale green eyes facing the clan cats as she instructed patrols.

She finished and trotted to the medicine cat den to ask Shypaw if she was done. Shypaw had spoken to her telling her that she was done. Swiftflight passed out the bundles and she crawled beside Ashcloud to eat the herbs.   

Ashcloud took a leaf and ate it. He cringed at the flavor. He gulped it down with a struggle. Ashcloud gasped as soon as he finished. "Yuck!" he coughed out. Swiftflight finished her bundle. She was grooming herself, Ashcloud sighed. 

She looked at him with sparkling green eyes of hope. "Eat it. It'll help" She nudged him. 

She licked his scalp and rested her warm body against Ashcloud. He licked up the herbs ignoring the disgusting taste. Then he nudged the deputy awake.

She looked at him then called the patrol to follow her. He followed after her while Shypaw trotted beside him.

Swiftflight p.o.v.

Swiftflight had laid beside Ashcloud. 3 sunrises passed ever since they had left the clan. Sandwing had tried 3 times to take Ashcloud over but Swiftflight had given a cuff over the ear like a billion times for her. Sandwing now has a small nick over her ear.

Swiftflight had gone to sleep. When she felt she was being dragged. She thought it was a dream. So she didn't care until she felt the water around her. She blinked. To realize she was about to drown. She kicked out with her hind legs but it wasn't enough. She blinked one last time. 

Darkness clouded her senses and she fell unconscious.

Ashcloud p.o.v.

Ashcloud heard laughs and purrs of mischief. Ashcloud raised his head. Swiftflight wasn't beside him. He looked around and saw Shypaw's jaw wide open with anger, sorrow, and surprise.

"Shypaw? What's wrong?" He asked. Shypaw looked down. Water droplets fell down from her eyes. "They took Swiftflight." She whispered resting her head on her paws. Sobbing. "Who!?" panic rose up in Ashcloud's heart. 

"Sandwing"

That fox-heart.
