Bluestar:
I dislike-almost-hate her.

Look at the Blue/Thistle situation. Thistleclaw, as a kit and apprentice always had the normal ambition of becoming some important role. Then, Bluefur came, and basically fricked it up. She told Snowfur not to go towards/ trust Thistleclaw. Why? Because she was probably wary that he would take her own ambition as Deputy. Who's the actual ambitious cat here? Bluefur. Bluefur breaks the code by loving Oakheart, Snowfur gets upset over the fact that her sister broke the code, Snowfur runs over to Thunderpath, gets killed.
Kaboom- Thistleclaw gets sad. He blames Bluefur for taking away Whitekit's mother, which shows that he did care for his kit. Thistleclaw has NOT broken a SINGLE CODE. Bluefur had broken ONE.
While Thistleclaw is trying to teach Whitekit battle moves, Bluefur cuts in.
Why? No reason. Thistleclaw, and all kits practically feel the need to learn the hunting crouch, the battle moves, etc., as a kit. He knows the feeling, and does not want Whitekit to feel the boringness.
Thistleclaw.
Is.
Considerate.

Then, Bluefur basically steals Thistleclaw's job, taking Whitekit away from him. That is when he started training on the Dark Forest, I presume or after Snowfur's death.

Thistleclaw:
I like-almost-love him.

Now, for Whitestorm.
He is one of those unnoticed important characters in the series, actually.
People say:
"Oh, I feel soooo sorry for Bluestar! She lost so much!"
"Look at (insertcatnamehere)... I feel so sorry for her/him.."

Nope.
Look at Whitestorm.
In his kit days, he loses Snowfur, his mother.
In Bluestar's apprentice days, she loses her mother.
In Whitestorm's kit days, he is taken away from his father.
In Bluestar's kit/apprentice days, nothing happens concerning her father, other than the fact that he flirted with Dappletail.
In Whitestorm's kit days, he befriends Tigerkit (star).
... Nothing for Bluestar.

Then, in Whitestorm's warrior/apprentice days, he loses his father, Thistleclaw.
Then, in Bluestar's warrior days, she gives up three kits, one of which has died.
Then, in Whitestorm's warrior days, he is found out about Tigerclaw, his best friend's betrayal.
Then, Bluestar finds out. Exile, exile, not much of a problem.
Then, Whitestorm watched Tigerstar die, his practically closest friend.
.... Nothing for Bluestar.

Bluestar broke the code, Whitestorm and Thistleclaw never.

Whitestorm:
I love him.
