Original Prologue

In the starry hunting grounds of Starclan a black and silver shecat was talking to a pale gold tom.  "It will work Goldeneyes." The shecat said. "Of course you think so Jadestar you always think on the positive side." The Tom said. "Well what do you think anyways." Jadestar asked Goldeneyes. "I hope your right."He said and walked away leaving Jadestar alone in the field or so she thought. "Jadestar." Said a voice behind her.

     "There is a prophecy."  Leappaw came out into the clearing. "When the clans are still new there will be a disaster which will divide the loyalties of all and it is up to four to save the clans." Leappaw finished.  Jadestar looked down at the clans Can this really be the end of the clans? It can't be can it? They are still so new! she wondered.

                        meanwhile.   

Goldeneyes walked out into a meadow and dropped into a couch and crept up onto a mouse. "Hey Goldeneyes." A voice came from behind him and the mouse ran. Goldeneyes was quicker and he ran and pounced onto the mouse and bit its spine.  He picked up the mouse and turned around.
   He saw a light brown she-cat with juniper colored eyes."Yes. Oh hello Juniperberry." He dipped his head to the medicine cat. "Is it the half moon meeting already?" Goldeneyes asked. Juniperberry nodded. "Well is there anything you would wish to share with me tonight?" Juniperberry mewed her voice was calming.
  He tried to remember what Leappaw said. "When the clans are still new there will be a disaster which will divide the loyalties of all and it is up to four to save the clans."

Chapter 1

.The tuxedo cat yawned as she woke up. Yay! She thought. Today's the gathering I hope I'll be chosen. She padded out of her nest and stretched. "...Willowpath,... And..." She perked up her ears. And realized the dawn patrol came back and the deputy was organizing a new one. Willowpath sighed. Why can't I not go on a patrol every other day at daybreak? She wondered as she followed Ottercoat, DarkHawk, Bramblesnow, Quailsong, and Hawkpaw Darkhawk's apprentice. Willowpath walked on trailing after the patrol. Lost in her thoughts when something pulled her back to reality. "Huh?" She asked Ottercoat looked annoyed but did his best to hide it. "I said. Do you think that we should split up? Me and you would go hunt so that DarkHawk could teach her apprentice then patrol with Bramblesnow and Quailsong." Ottercoat waited for an answer. Willowpath's pelt prickled hot with embarrassment. "What about Bramblesnow?" She asked realizing that he wasn't next to her made her feel uneasy Where did dad go? Is he hurt? He could have been attacked or followed a scent trail and got captured by twolegs. The list went on and on in her mind. After about a minute or two Ottercoat said "He went off with Quailsong toward the border near twoleg place." Willowpath nodded and then started following Ottercoat to the Sunclan border. Ottercoat noses at her that they could separate to hunt this was the meet up spot. she nodded and crouched down opening her jaw to taste any scents. Then she smelled it. A hawk it was huge as she neared it. She crouched down and tensed her mussels readying to jump. With out warning the Hawk flew up eyes locked on her. It's now or never she realized. She leaped at the Hawk, claws unsheathed, fangs bared. She made contact and they had a huge struggle. Willowpath was clawing at the frantic bird while it used its talons on her. Then she did what she told herself not to do. She looked down. Her heart stopped.

They were nearing one of the taller trees top branches. "OTTERCOAT!!" She wailed. But she kept trying to bring down her prey and she aimed a blow at its neck without thinking she hit it. There was a cracking noise. She fell down. Down, down down. Her body arched with her shoulder blades the closest to the ground in her mouth the Hawk. Paw paws infront of her.

"Someone catch her!" An unfamiliar voice yowled
That was the last thing she heard before everything went dark

Well that's the end of Chapter one helpfully it was good I personally had a lot of fun writing it! Hopefully you all continue to follow the story until the end. And maybe further if I gain enough support.

Chapter 2

.The grey Tom yowled "Someone catch her!" Oh Starclan don't let her fall to her death please. As a black and white she-cat fell out of the sky. He jumped onto the branches of the tree under where she was falling. "You." He pointed his tail to the other Lakeclan cat. "I'll talk to you after this." He was right about his placement Thank Starclan she didn't fall to her death. He thought as he caught her by the scruff of the neck. He hoisted her onto his shoulders. "We will be bringing her to our camp." He said looking at the Ginger and white Tom "You will come with us as well." Kestralsplash told the cat. Good he listened. I didn't want a fight. Kestralsplash motioned for them to follow him. And they walked back to Sunclan camp.

When they got there

"Silverclaw, go fetch Windwatcher would you?' Wolfclaw inform Sunstar that we are back and have visitors." Silverclaw and Wolfclaw went off in different directions. A few minutes later Silverclaw returned with Windwatcher. "Where are they?" Windwatcher asked. Kestralsplash slid the black and white she-cat off of his back onto the ground. Windwatcher saw the wounds on her side her eyes widened. Kestralsplash said. "It was a Hawk I think she might of tried to get it as prey. It got up pretty high then she killed it." The Lakeclan warrior dropped the hawk.  But Windwatcher wasn't watching them anymore she put a chewed up herb onto the wound and wrapped it in cobwebs. Then she shoved an herb down the cats throat.

When she was done treating the two cats. She turned to face the new cat. "Oh I'm so sorry I'm Windwatcher, that toms name is Kestralsplash." She said pointing to him. Ok so? Wait will they be staying here for a while I feel like the she-cat will but the toms fine. Windwatcher continued. "What's your name." She asked politely. "And hers." She mewed angling her ears toward the she-cat. "I'm Ottercoat the deputy of Lakeclan and that's Willowpelt. A new warrior to the clan." Windwatcher nodded and told him. "You will be escorted to the gathering tonight please inform your clan that there was no harm but that she's in no state to move." I should just go Kestralsplash realized I'm just staring at this He turnes to Ottercoat "Have a good rest." With that he padded into the warriors den and dosed off

Backstory
A sleek tan she cat with amber paws, tail times, and ears Yowled from inside the nursery. "Their coming!!" A mottled brown Tom rushed forward but was pushed back by the TundraClan Medicine cat JuniperBerry. He had grabbed one of his many sticks. (For circumstances like this). "Grab this in your jaws and bite down when you feel pain." He instructed.
((Note:In sorry I will be cutting this short cause I feel uncomfortable writing kitting))

She had given birth to 4 kits. ((Youngest to oldest)) A Golden Tom who died after taking his first few breaths of air, a black and white she-cat who had passed away a few hours after she was born because of a heart failure, a steel Tom with dark grey spots on his fur and Amber eyes, And the eldest a Golden She-cat with blue eyes and light brown tabby markings.

The She-cat looked down at her 4 new kits and burst into tears. "What's wrong SleekFur?" Asked the Tom from before.
"DewNose two—" She chocked out the following words. "DewNose two are dead." SleekFur nosed the a black and white she-cat and a golden brown Tom. "They should be given proper names." Dewnose said, SleekFur nodded. "The Golden Tom will be called GlowKit, and the Golden She-cat will be called MothKit." DewNose said. SleekFur nodded and looked at the other two kits. "The black and white she-cat can be called PatchKit, and the Black Tom can be SteelKit." She concluded

Chapter 3

.She walks out of the nursery with her brother. The She-cat stops letting SteelKit walk ahead of her. MothKit turns around and walks away towards the medicine cat den. "JuniperBerry?" She asks. " Can I get some herbs for a cut on SteelKit and WrenKit?" She asks. "Where are they? bring me to them." JuniperBerry says. " Well... They aren't hurt now but every time they play.. " she trail off but is interrupted by WrenKit screeching like a hawk and JuniperBerry takes herbs out to the two kits.   I wish they would act more like mother and father she thinks and walks away to the nursery. "Hey mom do you need any help?" MothKit asks as she sees her mother and the other nursery queen JayFlight cleaning up the bad moss. "Oh. It's great to see you helping MothKit!" SleekFur says looking over at you. "Well mom I've wanted to help cause my ceremony is today and I don't want my last day being a kit play fighting and annoying the warriors." MothKit giggles. "Speak of the DarkForest." Her mother says. Shooting over to MothKit then realizing that she already straightened over her fur then tells SteelKit that he can't play any more. He stumbles as his mom licks him over and over again then as she finished FeatherStar calls a clan meeting. "All cats old enough to spend a night in the mountains please gather around the ice shard for a clan meeting." MothKit and SteelKit run over while Starlingkit walks a few paces behind her and WrenKit sits beside SteelKit. "Today we have FOUR kits becoming apprentices. MothKit you have reached the age of six moons. Will you fight and protect kits, queens, and elders from hawks and birds and your fellow clanmates even if it means starvation?"  She asks MothKit ( TundraClan does it a bit differently).  "I will" FeatherStar looks at MothKit. "Then until you receive your warrior name you shall have the name MothPaw and your mentor shall be me my self." She finished it up ( I'm lazy) SteelPaw to HawkTalon, StarlingPaw to SnowPelt, and WrenPaw to IceSplash. MothPaw touches noses with FeatherStar and then went to the Apprentices den where she curled up and slept. When she opened up her eyes what she heard chilled her to the core.  "Welcome back MothPaw how about we have a friendly CHAT"

  It's supposed to be a cliffhanger but anyways. That is the end of chapter please add more to TundraClan. Also please add characters with like crush:... And stuff like that cause I'm starting to lose interest in making this and might not continue making this. Please help me out and I will like to know how you guys like this. Night out bye!

Chapter 4

.Yes I switched this chapter and the next chapter to keep it in order!

While the sun was starting to set and the chaos would soon begin there was another, a Tom was creeping in the shadows. He always was hidden and was almost never found. The times he was found he got into battles and faught his way out. The Tom was covered in scars, there was a long was running along his flank and quite on his legs and tail. His two top was even ripped off. But the worst scars were on his face. He has scars all over his face and his left ear war ripped clean off. He was almost blinded in a fight with a scar leading from his right eye to the top of his chest. He was battle scarred to say in the least. All cats who saw him thought they would have to fight their way out.
He was roaming along the edge of Lakeclan territory when he suddenly heard a branch crack. He raced up a tree and backed up a bit the leaves and branches allowing him to see down at the incoming things but not letting them see him. almost a minute went by until he saw 5 cats patrolling. So this IS clan territory and not just some frequent loners or Rouges. There were 3 toms and 2 she-cats. The first Tom was a black and white tuxedo cat with violet eyes and the little white tom cat next to him had blue-grey eyes. The last tom was slightly smaller then the full grown she next to him. He had dark brown fur and a black muzzle and tail tip. The she cat was a black cats with Dark grey tabby markings and icy blue eyes. The other she-cat was black and white with brown eyes. Those cats look pretty buff i don't think I want to mess with them. The black she cat with icy blue eyes seemed to be in charge of the group Huh I'll call her blue eyes for now I guess. At least while I watch. Blue eyes says "Quailsong go to the TundraClan border and make sure that no one is crossing over it. And Mark the border to while your at it!" the black and white she cat, Quailsong replies "Yes Darkhawk" Darkhawk turned to the brown tom with the small white tom. "Bramblesnow take Snowpaw and check and mark the Sunclan border" the brown Tom replied "Fine Darkhawk whatever you say." then huffed before turning and walking with Snowpaw away. Darkhawk then turned to the dark brown Tom. "Hawkpaw what do you smell?" She asked with what looked like a slightly evil smirk. Hawkpaw smirked and closed his eyes before lifting his nose up. After a few seconds he opened his eyes and looked at Darkhawk and said "Darkhawk I smell a filthy rouge on our territory!" Can they smell me? I'm down wind though! The Tom stiffened. Darkhawk said "Good now lead the way! Let's teach this intruder a lesson!" "The smell is coming from... THIS WAY!" He said and walked in the direction behind the tom. He let out a breath of relief.
He stayed in the tree for a few minutes to be certain they were gone. When he was about to start heading down He felt a great force knock into him and he fell face first to the ground. Because something was on top of him he couldn't twist to land on his paws so he kicked the thing away and twisted to land on his paws. It was a bit awkward but he caught his breath and turned his head to see what knocked him down and there was nothing there. What the... Then as he turned his head to look around he felt something hit his back causing his paws to splay out underneath him. He was pinned. Just great... I've been found and I'm going to have to fight however many cats there are. "Good job" a voice said from behind. A sinister laugh came from on top of him. He felt jaws close around his throat. This is the end isn't it? Then he felt himself be picked up and in an instant thrown into the tree next to him. He picked himself up and closed his eyes. hearing paw steps come closer and closer he jumped up and into the charging does back when they were close. He opened his eyes to see one of the cats from before Hawkpaw!
He was puzzled for a second and felt something else ram into his side and pin him down his stomach facing the sky. He opened his eyes to see DarkHawk above him. She laughed and picked up one of her paws and unsheathed it. He wiggled his body as an attempt to get out from underneath her but she kept a firm paw on his chest. He felt her paw slice across his cheek. Ow! She then grabbed his throat and three him across the ground. He got up and got into a battle stance. Crouching down he glared at Darkhawk and Hawkpaw. I've got to be really smart and quick to beat these two! He unsheathed his claws and leaped at Darkhawk. Before he landed he outstretched a paw and got a small but on her flank. She hissed and turned to face him.
After a while of the three of them fighting the Tom was worn out. He crouched breathing heavily across from them. Darkhawk and Hawkpaw still had energy left. They smirked at him and he glared at them and hissed. Darkhawk and Hawkpaw leaped at him and he dodged them both. He ran in the opposite direction then slid, turned and ran towards them. He leaped claws outstretched at Hawkpaw. But right before he reached him Darkhawk rammed into his side and pinned him down. He tried to knock her off of him but he didn't have the energy. "Say goodbye rouge!" She hissed and then smirked evily. But as she said that Bramblesnow and Snowpaw came back. "Darkhawk what are you doing!?!" Bramblesnow raced over to her and knocked her off of the rouge. "Warriors don't kill to win battles!" He hissed. Quailsong padded into the clearing and saw the rouge, his blood in the field and Darkhawk and Hawkpaw's claws out and blood on them. She raced over. " what happened!" She gasped.
Bramblesnow turned to her. "Darkhawk was battling this rouge and was about to kill him before I came here!" He explained. Quailsong looked at you pity on her face. "Let me help you up." She glared at Darkhawk and Hawkpaw "We are going back to camp now and I am telling Lakestar about this Darkhawk. This is the second time this moon this has happened! And last time you killed the loner!" Wait what?! This happened before? And this warrior killed the poor loner!? The rouge let Quailsong and Bramblesnow help hi. up and then leaned on Quailsong's shoulder. They started walking towards Lakeclan camp. "Hey I'm Quailsong, that's Bramblesnow and that's Darkhawk. We are warriors of one of the three clans here! Lakeclan! That's Hawkpaw Darkhawk's apprentice! An apprentice is a young cat she 6 moons or older training to be a warrior! And that's Snowpaw! he's almost a warrior just agent taken his warrior test yet! Snowpaw is Bramblesnow's apprentice! What's your name?" Should I tell her? She's being nice but this might me a trick... Quailsong gave a small laugh. "I didn't think you would trust me after that Darkhawk and Hawkpaw did! But I promise you most warriors don't automatically go for the kill! I'm one of the really nice ones! So are Bramblesnow and Snowpaw!" I guess I can trust them! "My name is Dusk, I am a rouge not from around here." The rouge says. "Dusk.. Dusk... That's a nice name!" Says Snowpaw. "We should be at camp soon Dusk! There we can take you to our medicine cats NightWhisper and Swanspirit! They are some of the nicest cats you will ever meet!" Quailsong says. "Hopefully you are true to your words" Dusk says with a small laugh. "Yeah looks like you haven't met a lot of nice cats yeah?" Bramblesnow says. "Yeah... Back where I'm from being nice isn't really an option." Dusk responds.

After a little bit more walking they arrive at a bramble barrier. "Let me go in first to tell everyone of your arrival and what Darkhawk and Hawkpaw did, speaking of you two Darkhawk! Hawkpaw! come with me to Lakestar's den!" Bramblesnow says. Dusk sits down still leaning on Quailsong. "You know! Your the nicest rouge I've ever met Dusk! And one of the nicer cats I've met!" Quailsong says cheerfully. "Really?" Dusk asks. "Yep! Some cats in my clan are like Darkhawk and Hawkpaw. Just a few though! Then most just ignore me because of their duties. No one ever really stops to talk that often anymore." Quailsong says the last part sadly. There is an awkward silence then Bramblesnow comes back out. "Ok Quailsong bring Dusk strait to the medicine den. I've notified NightWhisper and Swanspirit already of Dusk." Bramblesnow says. "Ok!" Quailsong replies and they both get up and walk over to the medicine den. while waking over Dusk gets a few glares, a few looks of pity and sympathy and a few questioning looks. When they are both in there a cat that looks identical to Darkhawk but with soothing green eyes rushed up to Dusk with a bunch of herbs.
"You're Dusk right? I'm NightWhisper one of LakeClan's two medicine cats." She asks. "Yes I am" Dusk replies. And NightWhisper let's put a sigh of relief. "Ok sit down and don't move. I am healing your wounds." Dusk does as she says and watches as she takes a set price of miss and washed out his scratches and cuts. He sits through the long process of making a poulice (idk how to spell it eep) of marigold and horsetail and applies it on Dusk's scratches. She the puts cobwebs on top of the scratches holding the mixture in place. "You need to stay in one place so *turns to Quailsong* if it's ok with you, you can help our guest Dusk here by getting him good and water. And making sure that Snowpaw changes his bedding because I don't trust Hawkpaw and Darkhawk anywhere near Dusk right now." NightWhisper says/asks. Quailsong nodded "Of course I'll help Dusk out! We're friends now right?" Quailsong replies. Dusk nods. "Mhm!"

Hey guys I'm finally back! That's right! With being in quarantine I will finally update almost daily!!! Still looking for apprentices, kits, and queens for all of the clans! Hope you all enjoyed this special long chapter! And if it ever says 'you' like "You nodded" or something like that it's because my mind automatically went to second person pronouns! so please ignore that 😅. Typing this on my Kindle Fire (Amazon) so if there are any spelling errors please notify me! This took me like an hour or two to write and it's now 1:32 AM EST! I'll start on the next chapter! Chapter 5

.YES I SWITCHED THIS AND THE PREVIOUS CHAPTER TO KEEP IT IN ORDER

As the sun was going up the tuxedo colored she woke up. Where am I? She thought as she looked around but didn't notice the medicine dens walls I'm not in camp! Willowpath thought and tried to stand up, to get out of there but a pain in her side made her collapse. "Woah there Willowpath, no standing up you may undo all of the work I've done." Said a voice behind her so Willowpath turned around to see who it was. She didn't recognize the cat behind her "Who are you and where am I?!" She demanded. "I am WindWatcher and you are in SunClan camp until you recover." WindWatcher explained "I-I can't be here I have to go back to my camp my clanmates are going to worry... or hate me for being either a mousebrained fool or for being kept in another clans camp!" She hissed.

Not bad? Idk it's like 220 words. I don't know what to say I'm just getting back into the grove of things. I'm also hosting a fully voice acted MAP check it out! Chapter 6

.Kestralsplash awoke to a rude prodding in his side. He turned to see who it was and it was Ottercoat the Lakeclan deputy. "Ottercoat what are you doing?" Ottercoat looked a bit embarrassed. "Well.. Sunstar wanted me to get you so we could get to the gathering soon, look at the rising moon. If we don't leave soon we will be late. And Lakeclan is probably worried enough as is. And well I guess from one deputy to another was good I don't really know." Kestralsplash nodded. "Yeah well *gets up and stretches* let's go!" He gave a small laugh and walked out side by side with Ottercoat.

Sunstar is waiting for them with the chosen cats who were going. Silverclaw, an elder warrior. Wolfpelt, a younger but very experienced she cat. Oceanwave, Wolfpelt's sister, young and silly but very compassionate and loyal. And last but not least Blacksun sibling to Silverclaw, another elder warrior. Very skilled in battle and a good ally but a bad enemy.
As they walk towards the gathering area, three stones, Kestralsplash gets flashbacks to his first gathering.
    Flashback
"Sunstar! How much farther is it!!!" Kestralpaw says bouncing up and down while walking next to Sunstar. Purring Sunstar says "Have patience young Kestralpaw! But if you must know we are almost there!" Kestralpaw was bouncing in excitement. "I can't wait to meet all of the other clans and make new friends! Oh I'm so excited Sunstar!" Sunstar looked down at Kestralpaw fondly. "You know my apprentice, I have had a first gathering to! I was as exited as you, wanting to make new friends! But never forget we never share any weaknesses with the other clans! Understand?" Kestralpaw nodded. "Understood Sunstar!"
Switches to another point in time
They just arrived at the gathering. Kestralpaw is looking for another apprentice to talk to. Suddenly a voice comes from behind him. "Hello I'm Otterpaw! My clans Lakeclan what about you?" Kestralpaw turns around to see an exited young Otterpaw behind him. "I'm Kestralpaw of Sunclan! Who's your mentor? Mine is Sunstar!" Otterpaw replies with "My mentors Lakestar! That's really cool! We both have the leaders as out mentors!" Kestralpaw nods. "Yep! Super cool! *grins* Otterpaw! Want to be friends?" Otterpaw nods eagerly. "Yes! How cool is it to have a friend in a different clan?"
Skip to another point in time
Kestralsplash is in a gathering looking for that one familiar face... "Kestralpaw!" Says a voice from behind him. "Otterpaw! Hey! I got some big news! My names not Kestralpaw anymore it's Kestralsplash!" Otterpaw looks really happy. "That's amazing congratulations! Guess what! I also got my warrior name! I'm Ottercoat now!" Kestralsplash also looks really happy "That's amazing Ottercoat!"
Another skip through time
Kestralsplash looks for Ottercoat. "Ottercoat! I have some big news! also sad news though..." Ottercoat looks very sad. "So do I." Kestralsplash responds first "Our old deputy is in Starclan now, I will miss Autumnbreeze. She was an amazing deputy. But I'm the new deputy of Sunclan! " Ottercoat looks up. "Kestralsplash Jet stream also passed away. He was the best deputy my clan could have asked for. I am also the newest deputy! I hope we can bring our clans into a lasting peace when we're both leaders!!" Kestralsplash nods. "Me to!"
Skipping to another point in time
Kestralsplash is looking for Ottercoat so he can talk to him. "Hey Ottercoat how have you been dude?" Ottercoat doesn't respond "Ottercoat what's wrong? You know you can tell me anything right?" Ottercoat looks away "Ottercoat?" When he looks back Kestralsplash sees tears in his eyes. "Ottercoat what's wrong?" "We can't be friends anymore Kestralsplash I'm sorry but we can't. Make some friends in your own clan."
      Present time
Kestralsplash finds himself back in present time. Behind everyone else and Ottercoat is next to him. "Kestralsplash what happened? You've been standing there for a while now come on before the gathering starts!" Kestralsplash starts jogging with Ottercoat to catch up to everyone. "It was nothing Ottercoat.... nothing at all." Ottercoat looks at him suspiciously. "Ok whatever you say Kestralsplash."

When they are at the gathering
       Featherstar, Lakestar, and Sunstar all stand on each go their own large stones. There are three large boulders all next to each other but on an equal level. Lakestar is glaring at Sunstar who is looking nervous. Featherstar is confused about Sunstar and Lakestar's attitudes. "C-can we begin?" Sunstar says. "Ok so as most of you except maybe TundraClan may know about WillowPath and OtterCoat not returning to LakeClan!" Sunstar starts but many angry LakeClan cats say "You took them!" "Give us back our clanmates!" "Stop holding them hostage!" "Settle down everyone!" FeatherStar hissed SunStar started again "WillowPath and OtterCoat were on a patrol near SunClan borders. WillowPath was hunting a Hawk when it went to far up with her on its back. When it was very high up she killed it and started falling back down! My patrol heated the ruckus and my deputy thank StarClan caught WillowPath before she hit the ground. She is in the medicine den! And OtterCoat can confirm this! We have let him make a decision to stay with his clanmate until she can return back to her clan or go back without her and OtterCoat wanted to stay with her until she was done healing. That will be another full moon journey at least. LakeStar you may go now." Sunstar concluded. LakeStar let out a sigh of relief. "Thank you so much for clearing that up SunStar! Now prey is running well is LakeClan! One of our warriors and their apprentice attacked an innocent rouge and we are keeping them in our clan until they are done healing. FeatherStar?" LakeStar finished. FeatherStar stepped forward. "We have had new kits born in TundraClan! SleekFur and DewNose have had a litter of four but sadly only two made it! The she kits are  MothKit and PatchKit. The males are GlowKit and SteelKit. The two surviving kits are the she kit MothKit and the tom SteelKit." Everyone mourned the losses of GlowKit and PatchKit. Poor kits they lived such short lives. They could have had bright futures but they sadly did not make it to be apprentices or warriors.

Hey guys! This is the second chapter today! Hope you like the flashback and the actual gathering! The flashbacks show how close Kestralsplash and OtterCoat were! Chapter 7

.No no no no no!!!! I thought I wasn't coming back! I thought I was done here! Mothpaw thought. "What do you want!" She hissed closing her eyes and lashing her tail. "Awe no need to be so mean'" the voice said in a mock hurt tone. "That's no way to treat friends here Mothpaw." She felt a blast of cold air come upon her. "Your not my friend get out of my head and go away!" She hissed turning around and opening her eyes. The figure in front of her was the same as it has always been in her dreams. Dark mist with glowing and unsettling yellow eyes. The mist laughed it's haunting laugh. "Awe Mothpaw, are we not friends? You said we were when you met me." Mothpaw hissed under her breath. "I was naive. I didn't know how evil you were back then!" She bunched up her muscles and lashed her tail. "Now leave me alone" she hissed. "Mothpaw, you can't do anything to me. Your just a weak little kit." The mist laughed. Mothpaw has enough and yowled, she leaped at the mist but it vanished and she hit a tree stump instead. Dazed and shaking her head she got up. The mist was behind her. "Go away and leave me alone" she hissed again. "Mothpaw, but we hardly have even begun." It said before it leaped at her. It all went to black. (She hit her head on the tree  again and woke up.)

    Mothpaw awoke to a sore head and looked up at the glowing moon. I wish that mist would leave me alone. It used to be so nice but then one day just attacked me in my dreams. It's been that way ever since. It used to teach me some moves. And now it uses ones I don't know and I always wake up so sore. She got up and stretched. Looking down at her nest she noticed something new. Blood. Horrified she picked up the moss with blood on it. Mothpaw smelled the metallic stench of blood and scrunched up her face. Mouse dung. My heads bleeding. She thought and looked around for a way to sneak out of camp. She realized one area in the brambles wasn't as tough as the others. Ugh. That's got to hurt. She thought as she gulped and closed her eyes. She pushed through the brambles feeling them get caught in her pelt as she walked through them. That's got to hurt when I pull them out.
     She walked for a while thinking of the mist and what it was. After a while she finally reached a stream. Well Mothpaw the streams going to feel really really bad but oh well. Looking at the sky she realized the sun was already rising. Mouse dung! Mothpaw thought and she dived into the water. When she surfaced she rubbed her head. Looking at her paw she saw no more blood and Mothpaw dragged herself out. Shaking her fur she sighed already smelling the dawn patrol. Well how in the name of Starclan do I explain this time? She thought as she saw Stormpelt the deputy, Blacktail, Dewnose , and Dewnose's apprentice Riverpaw. Great. Just what I need three warriors and Riverpaw. Why did DewNose have to bring his apprentice? Riverpaw is the rudest apprentice and will bully me and taunt me and all of the other apprentices about even the smallest mistake. She sat down and sighed again.
RiverPaw's POV
    I was itching for a fight. Like there was nothing fun to do on a patrol. Then I smelled her, the oldest of the newest apprentices. Why did SHE get the honor of being FeatherStar's apprentice? It wasn't fair. A smirk then crossed my face. I looked up at my mentor DewNose  "DewNose, I smell Mothpaw! She snuck out of camp again I think!" I told him and he sighed. "Stormpelt, BlackTail, RiverPaw said he smells MothPaw's scent again. Is it by the stream again RiverPaw?" I nod. We go to the stream where MothPaw is. I smirk at her and she glares at me, knowing that I will taunt her about this for days on end.
StormPelt's POV
   I sigh why can't that apprentice just stay in her nest? "MothPaw, again? SnowPelt and StarlingPaw didn't tell us you were out here so you must have snuck off. Again? Really? If you want a drink they will let you but you don't have to sneak out. This is the third time this moon! Ugh FeatherStar will have to hear about this again you know." MothPaw seems to get smaller as I say this. "Come, I'll escort you back to camp, BlackTail you are in charge while I'm gone. I'll meet you guys at the border with LakeClan when I'm done."
Third Person POV (normal POV unless you guys want me to do the POV of the character the chapters about.)
MothPaw kept her head down, there was silence for a while until StormPelt spoke up. "MothPaw, I know this isn't about just a mere drink anymore, you're covered in water. What's going on?" He asked. MothPaw froze No no no! I can't let them find out! "Well, um, I don't want you guys to know because it's no big deal but I've been getting a bunch of brambles and thorns in my nests lately and well, I have been bleeding so it wakes me up in my dreams and I sneak out and take the bedding with me so that no one will know." StormPelt laughs "So THATS why you've been sneaking out?" MothPaw nods "Let me tell you a story, when I was in a rouge group me and a few others in the group would sneak out every night to go hunt and just race under the stars! We were never caught! Yes we were breaking the rules but it was so fun! And I'll let you in on a little secret! Don't tell BlackTail I told you this story or this but that grouch is one of my closest friends AND he was the one who came up with the idea!" MothPaw was shocked "Wait are you serious? That strict cat? You're joking right?" StormPelt laughed "Nope! He came up with the ideas and would do the most hilarious and outrageous stuff!" MothPaw laughed. "That doesn't sound like him at all! And all this time I didn't know he could have ever been fun!" StormPelt nodded "Yeah he doesn't seem like the type does he?"
After a bit of talking
They reached the camp and MothPaw sighed "Guess now I have to get in trouble?" She asked StormPelt shoot his head "Nah, I'll tell her that you were trying to was out some brambles but they were stuck so you snuck out to wash them off." He replied. They walked into FeatherStar's den and FeatherStar guessed what this was about "MothPaw snuck out again?" She asked StormPelt. "Yes but you know how brambles and thorns are right? Well MothPaw didn't want to wake anyone up when she got some brambles and thorns stuck in her that were in her nest so she snuck out and went into the stream because it was easier to get the brambles out." StormPelt explained. FeatherStar nodded. "I understand MothPaw, JuniperBerry needs sleep like the rest of us, now I would advise you to see him just to make sure the places that the brambles and thorns were aren't infected ok?" MothPaw nods and goes to see JuniperBerry. Once she is inside his den the Tom greets her before asking what she needs. "Um, I just want you to make sure none of my scratches and places where some thorns and brambles were don't get infected that's all." MothPaw explains.
After checking and healing her (I don't want y'all to get bored, so I'm skipping it)
"Thanks JuniperBerry!" MothPaw says "My pleasure! Now don't hurt yourself!" He responds "I won't." She assures him before leaving the den. It was now sun high and StormPelt's patrol was back and the deputy was assigning cats for the hunting patrol. Seeing MothPaw he says "MothPaw! You want to join the hunting patrol?" MothPaw nods and StormPelt says "Ok so the people who are coming on the hunting patrol are myself, SnowPelt, StarlingPaw, IceSplash, WrenPaw, HawkTalon, and MothPaw." He announces, turbo big to SteelPaw he says "Sorry SteelPaw I know you are HawkTalon's apprentice but you're not coming on this one, maybe next time." SteelPaw nods and pads away. "Let's go!" StormPelt says and walks out of the camp with the patrol. MothPaw happily follows. Once then we're a fair distance from the camp StormPelt turns around and everyone stops. "Ok we will split up here! I'll go with MothPaw, Snowpelt will go with StarlingPaw, IceSplash with WrenPaw, and HawkTalon I can assure you can do well on your own? You do have a talent for working better on your own" HawkTalon nods. "Ok everyone we will meet back here at Setting sun, you all understand?" Everyone nods then they all head in their selected directions while StormPelt and MothPaw stay where they are. "Let's hunt here for the time being ok?" StormPelt suggests. MothPaw nods and trots near a cluster of trees tasting the air for scents she picks up a family of hares. That's rare! She thought. Careful not to make a noise she finds where StormPelt is. "Hares, a family of them" she says quietly. StormPelt looks shocked then follows her. Pointing with her tail to the tree she looks at StormPelt and mouths 'Dig under the tree, I'll kill them when they come out' after he nods they get in position.
     StormPelt digs at the tree spooking the hares they run out the other way, right into MothPaw's paws. She kills almost all of them. One runs away but StormPelt was to fast, chasing it closing the distance between them. Once he was basically on top of it he puts a paw forward and knocks it over, that also makes him lose his balance. MothPaw comes in and kills the hare while it was dazed. They both look at each other and burst into laughter. After a little while they realize it was setting sun. They grab the rest of the hares and wait for the ready fo the patrol. SnowPelt and StarlingPaw got five plump voles, IceSplash and WrenPaw got three squirrels and HawkTalon got a Starling, and a Hawk. It was pretty small but still a Hawk. They all complemented each other on their prey. When they were all back at camp they knew they did a good job hunting and that the clan would be well fed.
      MothPaw noticed while eating a hare that StormPelt was alone and looked a little sad. She picked up the hare and went over to him. He looked looked up at her and smiled. "Want to share this with me?"  She asked "Sure" he said "How are you doing?" MothPaw asked StormPelt. "Ok you?" He responded "I'm doing pretty good." MothPaw said. There was a bit of an awkward silence so they ate the rest of the hare in silence. After they were down StormPelt looked at MothPaw and gave her a smile. "Thanks for sharing your hare with me." He said with a small purr "No problem." She responded. "You can get a rest. I'm not going to chose you for the night patrol." He said getting up and stretching. She nodded and padded off to the apprentice den. She looked back and saw StormPelt looking at her then looking away licking his chest fur in embarrassment. She blushed and entered the den. She curled up in her nest and had a nice dream.

Chapter 8

.NOTE:: Not much happened! Just normal stuff for all of the clans Dusk and WillowPath are still hurt! It's been a few moons since the last chapter! (So basically a few moon time skip)

Dusk stretched which still hurt. NightWhisper was sorting some herbs and Quailsong had just left to get them some food. I like this clan so far, well exept for those two he thought and saw someone enter the den. It was a blue-grey cat with deep blue eyes. Lakestar has come in to check on him regularly. "Hello Dusk" Lakestar said "Hello Lakestar" Dusk replied lifting his head up. "How are you doing?" Lakestar asked. Dusk yawned "I'm feeling better thanks to NightWhisper! She's really good at healing but of course it still hurts to walk around." He said with a small laugh. Lakestar nodded "I expected as much, well um my clan doesn't like having many strangers in it of course we are very hospitable, well most of us at least. But they are cautious of you."
     Dusk nodded "I would to if I was in your clans position." Lakestar responded "Well I would like you to know that you can have a place in our clan. I would actually like for you to join us." Dusk was shocked "Are you serious Lakestar?" Quailsong came in as Lakestar said that. She dropped the trout. "Lakestar! Really?" She said with a look of happiness on her face. "Yes, I am serious. Dusk has been nice and polite and even when attacked by DarkHawk and HawkPaw never tried to harm them. He only tried to get them to stop. So yes I am asking Dusk if he would like to join our clan." Lakestar said. Dusk was very happy  "Of course Lakestar! I would love to join your clan!" Quailsong looked very happy. Lakestar responded with "Well, according to clan customs you may take a clan name if you wish but you are not forced to take one." Dusk nodded "I will take one Lakestar, but may I chose it?"
     Lakestar nodded "Of course you may Dusk! It's your new name after all!" Dusk thought about it for a while before responding "Hm, how about Duskfire?" Quailsong nodded "I like the name Duskfire!" Lakestar nodded as well. "I will hold a clan meeting then." Then he left. Quailsong looked at NightWhisper. "May I help him out of the den so he can see the meeting?" And NightWhisper nodded. "This will hurt a bit but you can't be lazy now can you?" Quailsong said with a teasing tone to her voice. "Lazy? Am I now?" He said back with a mock hurt tone. Quailsong nudged him "Yes you are! Now get up lazybones!" Duskfire got up and said "Ouch!" In a mock hurt tone. Quailsong immediately went next to him and blushed. They walked out and sat near the medicine den. Lakestar looked at Duskfire and Quailsong and nodded before leaping onto a large tree stump. "All cats old enough to swim in the lake gather around the tall stump for a clan meeting!" He announced.
     The cats whispered in confusion and gave Duskfire confused glances. "You all might know of the loner DarkHawk and Hawkpaw attacked!" Everyone started to whisper again. "Well I have invited him to join our clan and he accepted. His name was Dusk and he chose his own name. Everyone welcome Duskfire into the clan'" all of the cats paused and didn't say anything but immediately Quailsong looked at Duskfire and chanted "Duskfire Duskfire!" Then gradually everyone join in until everyone in the clan was saying "Duskfire! Duskfire!" He have a look of appreciation at Quailsong who game him a smile back. "Ok everyone settle down! He will stay in the medicine den until he heals and like before Quailsong will help him out! You are all dismissed!" Lakestar concludes. Quailsong helps him get back into the medicine den. They talked for hours.
     At moon high
    Quailsong and Duskfire realized how late it was and NightWhisper had fallen asleep a while ago. They were both very groggy and fell asleep next to each other.
    In the morning
    Duskfire and Quailsong woke up and then looked away from each other embarrassed. "Good morning Quailsong" Duskfire said "Good morning Quailsong."  Quailsong got up. "I should go on the next patrol." Duskfire nodded "Yeah..." so Quailsong got up and Duskfire was left just with NightWhisper sorting the herbs. A while passed before NightWhisper spoke "You know Duskfire, I see the way you look at Quailsong." Duskfire looked at her "I don't know what you mean." NightWhisper stopped sorting herbs and turned around to look at him. "I'm not blind Duskfire, I see you look at Quailsong it's not that hard to see your feelings. Go on and just tell Quailsong your feelings!" Duskfire looked at her. "But here's the thing! She's probably just being nice to me because she's just a nice cat to everyone! What if she doesn't like me back?" NightWhisper shook her head "Duskfire, she is a very nice cat to everyone but really, she has taken every opportunity to be with you. It's not that hard to see that she has feeling for you to! Stop being a mouse brain and tell her!" Duskfire sighed "I'll tell her but not now. Maybe later." NightWhisper went back to sorting herbs.

Later but from Duskfire's POV
   I didn't know how to tell her but I knew I had to. I get up and walk out of camp. No one gives me the odd glances any more. I knew that Quailsong was still on patrol so I had plenty of time. I find some flower petals and sprinkle them near the waters edge. It will be beautiful, just like Quailsong, but her beauty is incomparable to anything. I walk into the forest and find a Bush with the most beautiful aquamarine flowers. I pick one off the Bush and wait.

   It's now sunset. She will be coming soon
At the same time but Quailsong's POV
   I picked up a salmon and walked over to the medicine den. Peering inside I look around for Duskfire but I couldn't find him. Where did he go? Did he wander off somewhere and is hurt? Did he leave? "He's by the Lake, there's something he wanted to tell you." I turned around to see NightWhisper behind me. "Go on! There's something he wants to tell you." She says with a wink. I drop the salmon and walk out of camp. What could he want to tell me?  Once I'm over at the lake I see flower petals everywhere and I hear birds chirping. I walk over to the edge of the lake and look at the beautiful sunset. I hear a voice behind me say "Beautiful isn't it?" I turn around to see him. My heart starts to thump. I grow hot under my pelt. He turns to look at me and we lock eyes. I blush and blink. "What is it Duskfire?" I ask. He blushes and walks closer to me until our faces are inches apart. He places a beautiful aquamarine flower behind my right ear and says. "Um... I wanted to tell you that I... I... I love you Quailsong."

Chapter 9

.Note: Before we get started I would like to say I like creating these chapters but I don't know if anyone's reading them. The three chapters I made today so far (authors note chapter 7 and chapter 8) haven't gotten many views I think only one so far idk. I guess I'm making these for myself then 😅. If anyone's reading I would like to say thank you! It takes a lot to make these as I go for around 1600-2000 words per chapter. Alas these chapters are shorter because I don't know what to do while they are stuck in camp. Anyways back to the story.

     WillowPath yawns. Looking at the sun rise. She knew that she was going to have to leave soon. But when she didn't know. Ottercoat spent a bunch of time with Kestralsplash. I'm glad he's making friends. StarClan knows that he hasn't been able to do that since he became deputy thanks to Lakestar. She thought. WillowPath has grown to being friends with WindWatcher the medicine cat.
    "Hey WindWatcher you need any help?" She asked as she got up and stretched. WindWatcher looked over at her and nodded. "If you could separate the burdock leaves, thyme, and Catmint from each other that would be appreciated." He responded. She walked over and separated the herbs. "When do you think I would be able to go back to my own clan?" She asked he didn't look up.
    "Maybe a few days from now. You are able to move easily." He responded after a few moments of thought.  "It's been a few moons right? I don't know what's been going on in my clan." WillowPath said. "Well I know it will be fine nothing major must have happened." WindWatcher replied. "Yeah, yeah! Your right WindWatcher!" He turned around and smiled at her "My pleasure." He said before turning and going back to sorting herbs.
After they are done sorting herbs
    "Hey WillowPath, thanks for helping me sort herbs." WindWatcher said. "No problem WindWatcher, I figured I should start helping you since you are helping me." WillowPath replied smiling at WindWatcher. "I'm going to go see what Ottercoat and Kestralsplash are up to!" WillowPath said and then she limped out of the medicine den. She looked around for a bit then spotted them sitting under a tree sharing fresh kill. Limping over to them she smiled down at them before laying down next to them. The pair smiled back at her. "What are you guys doing?" She asked
  "Eh nothing much just talking about clan stuff. Want to join in?" Kestralsplash responded "Sure, what did you guys last say?" WillowPath asked "Well we were talking about the difference between Lakeclan and Sunclan territory's and prey!" Ottercoat replied. "I said we like to go and hunt in the woodlands then Ottercoat said." Kestralsplash began "That we love to hunt for fish and swim in the lake." Ottercoat said him and Kestralsplash laughed a bit "Th-then Kestralsplash told me a story about his attempt to fish in the lake." Ottercoat laughed. Kestralsplash purred at the memory.
     "So it was late NewLeaf, really warm do I decided to try my luck at fishing. I padded into the water and it felt nice. I was just in with my paws and I spotted a fish that was further out so I leaped in its direction. I hit it with my paws and I bit it. I actually managed to kill it. However I realized I couldn't swim and I ended up flailing around for a while. I was screeching for help and then I fully extended my legs and realized I could stand. I was never so embarrassed in my life." Kestralsplash said. WillowPath burst into laughter. "You d-didn't realize you c-could s-stand?"  She said in between laughs. Kestralsplash said in a mock hurt voice "Your mean."
    WillowPath didn't stop laughing so he got up and tackled her "Your mean. I'm going to sit on you until you stop being mean."  He said and sat on her. After a while she stopped laughing and said "Get off you great big mouse brain." Kestralsplash looked down at her "I don't know." He teased. After a while of wriggling she managed to push him off. She then looked sad "WindWatcher said we will be leaving any day now." Kestralsplash looked at Ottercoat sadly. "But we can have fun while it lasts. Obviously." WillowPath immediately followed with. Ottercoat nodded. All three of them were friends and didn't want to be separated but they must go back to their clans.
    "Hey, um, WillowPath can you let us talk in private for a bit?" Kestralsplash asked. "Sure." WillowPath replied a bit confused.

   WillowPath's POV
   I was confused on why Kestralsplash sent me away but I walked over to the prey pile and grebes a smaller vole. I found a spot far enough away that I couldn't hear their conversation. I just watched them talk while I ate my vole. They talked for a bit Kestralsplash looked very nervous.  After a while of them talking I saw Kestralsplash look very embarrassed and OtterCoat looked shocked. He nodded. I wanted to know what was said but I didn't want to interrupt and be rude. They obviously get very embarrassed about it so I didn't want to ask them what it was about.
    Third person POV
   WillowPath watched them until they came over and told her that they were done she nodded and they talked for a while. Soon it was sunset and they all went their own ways back to their nests. Kestralsplash in the warriors den, WillowPath in the medicine den, and OtterCoat in the prisoners den/guests den. WillowPath fell asleep easily, OtterCoat was awake for a while but wen to sleep eventually, Kestralsplash didn't go to sleep at all he just laid there awake with his thoughts.

Chapter 10

.Wow! 4 chapters today! (So far and excluding the Authors note) you guys can tell I'm trying to make up for being away for like a year! Hopefully people start to read this like they did before in 2019. I just want to make things for people obviously! But alas this to will be a short chapter. It will just be a copy paste of last chapter expect the difference it will be what Kestralsplash and OtterCoat were talking about BEFORE WillowPath came out and it will be about that conversation they had. It will be in Kestralsplash's POV. Hopefully y'all like it!)

    Kestralsplash padded up to the fresh kill pile and picked out a pigeon This should be good enough he thought before going back over to Ottercoat. "Wanna talk about the differences of our clans?" Ottercoat suggested. "Sure" Kestralsplash responded. "So LakeClan loves to be in the trees and in the water. We don't like to be to hot I guess." Ottercoat laughed. "Well you guys have thicker fur then us! We love to be in the sun!" Kestralsplash responded "That's why we have only small clusters of trees. We love to hunt in the open and in the sun." Ottercoat nodded "We love to hunt in the shade and we love to fish." Kestralsplash lit up in a memory. "I remembered a hilarious thing from beck when I was a warrior." "What is it?" Kestralsplash purred to himself. "So it was late NewLeaf, really warm do I decided to try my luck at fishing. I padded into the water and it felt nice. I was just in with my paws and I spotted a fish that was further out so I leaped in its direction. I hit it with my paws and I bit it. I actually managed to kill it. However I realized I couldn't swim and I ended up flailing around for a while. I was screeching for help and then I fully extended my legs and realized I could stand. I was never so embarrassed in my life." Ottercoat laughed.
They then saw WillowPath padding over to them. She smiled so they smiled back before laying down next to them. The pair smiled back at her. "What are you guys doing?" She asked
"Eh nothing much just talking about clan stuff. Want to join in?" Kestralsplash responded "Sure, what did you guys last say?" WillowPath asked "Well we were talking about the difference between Lakeclan and Sunclan territory's and prey!" Ottercoat replied. "I said we like to go and hunt in the woodlands then Ottercoat said." Kestralsplash began "That we love to hunt for fish and swim in the lake." Ottercoat said him and Kestralsplash laughed a bit "Th-then Kestralsplash told me a story about his attempt to fish in the lake." Ottercoat laughed. Kestralsplash purred at the memory again and retold it exactly as he told Ottercoat.
"So it was late NewLeaf, really warm do I decided to try my luck at fishing. I padded into the water and it felt nice. I was just in with my paws and I spotted a fish that was further out so I leaped in its direction. I hit it with my paws and I bit it. I actually managed to kill it. However I realized I couldn't swim and I ended up flailing around for a while. I was screeching for help and then I fully extended my legs and realized I could stand. I was never so embarrassed in my life." Kestralsplash said. WillowPath burst into laughter. "You d-didn't realize you c-could s-stand?" She said in between laughs. Kestralsplash said in a mock hurt voice "Your mean."
WillowPath didn't stop laughing so he got up and tackled her "Your mean. I'm going to sit on you until you stop being mean." He said and sat on her. After a while she stopped laughing and said "Get off you great big mouse brain." Kestralsplash looked down at her "I don't know." He teased. After a while of wriggling she managed to push him off. She then looked sad "WindWatcher said we will be leaving any day now." Kestralsplash looked at Ottercoat sadly. "But we can have fun while it lasts. Obviously." WillowPath immediately followed with. Ottercoat nodded. All three of them were friends and didn't want to be separated but they must go back to their clans.
"Hey, um, WillowPath can you let us talk in private for a bit?" Kestralsplash asked. "Sure." WillowPath replied a bit confused.

Kestralsplash's POV
  I was very nervous. So I made some small talk with Ottercoat who was confused. Then after a little while of talking I paused and then took in a deep breath "Hey Ottercoat." He looked confused "Yes Kestralsplash?" "Remember when we were younger and had made a close bond?" Ottercoat nodded "Well, I didn't think of you as a friend. I always thought of you as well, a.... companion in my life." I looked away embarrassed. Ottercoat nodded. "I did to." He said quietly. We were both embarrassed and after a minute or two we made, again, more small talk then decided to go tell WillowPath we all could talk now.
Third person POV
WillowPath watched them until they came over and told her that they were done she nodded and they talked for a while. Soon it was sunset and they all went their own ways back to their nests. Kestralsplash in the warriors den, WillowPath in the medicine den, and OtterCoat in the prisoners den/guests den. WillowPath fell asleep easily, OtterCoat was awake for a while but wen to sleep eventually, Kestralsplash didn't go to sleep at all he just laid there awake with his thoughts. He thinks the same about me as I think of him.

Chapter 11

.MothPaw..... MothPaw.... said voices in her sleep. "I don't want to listen to you!" she hissed. The voices continued but then suddenly a new voice came it boomed over the others saying "When the clans are still new there will be a disaster which will divide the loyalties of all and it is up to four to save the clans." She was confused "What do you mean?!" She yowled looking for the voice. She heard it going as it seemed further and further away. MothPaw felt the walls were closing in around her and she tried to run after the voice "Wait! Please explain what you mean! Who are the four?! What is going to harm the clans?! Wha—" she widened her eyes as the ground beneath her paws was suddenly gone and she fell down, down, down. The voice kept talking "The four... the four..." suddenly three cats were shown to her but as quickly as they came they were gone. She would vaguely remember them though. and the other voice kept saying "MothPaw! MothPaw! MOTHPAW!" With the last one she felt herself wake up. Someone was shaking her. "MothPaw!" She heard again, looking at the cat who was shaking her she saw none other then StormPelt. "MothPaw your finally awake. Come on you have to come on the dawn patrol!"

    She sighed and reluctantly got up. MothPaw stretched. "Who else is coming?" She asked curious. "Myself, my apprentice LeopardPaw, HawkTalon, your brother, you, and we're also bringing JuniperBerry with us so he can gather herbs and we can patrol." MothPaw nodded Why can't I ever do stuff with my mentor? She thought. StormPelt noticed she was looking sad so he spoke again "Me and LeopardPaw are training later, I asked Featherstar and she agreed to come with us and train with us. It will be the four of us learning some battle moves that sound good?" He asked. MothPaw looked up "Your joking right? FeatherStar helping me with battle training." She questioned "No, I'm coming with you to battle train at about sunhigh." Said a voice from behind her.
She turned around to see Featherstar with a smile on her face. MothPaw was so exited. "What are you waiting for let's go!" She said pushing past the others and heading out of camp. They all laughed and went out as well. "Ok so I will go with MothPaw and Leopardpaw to the border with Sunclan and you *points tail at HawkTalon* will take SteelPaw and JuniperBerry to the LakeClan border ok?" He said/asked. Everyone nodded so they headed off. Not long after they started to the border there was a noise coming from the border "I'll go check out what that noise is. You two stay here." He said. They sat there for a bit and then LeopardPaw looked at MothPaw with a playful grin before she leaped at her claws sheathed. They tumbled around in the dirt for a bit then LeopardPaw was on top. "I win again!" She said proudly. MothPaw then kicked her with her back legs in the stomach. LeopardPaw was winded then MothPaw came out on top. "Not this time!" They both got up then looked at each other. Then LeopardPaw laughed and after MothPaw did to. They both fell to the ground laughing.
   "You know pip squeak your not as bad of a fighter as I thought." LeopardPaw said. "I didn't think it would work if I being honest with you." MothPaw said. Then they heard a rustle in the bushes and they both backed up. LeopardPaw then had a look of realization. "Come out StormPelt we know it's you. Stop trying to scare us." LeopardPaw stepped forward. "We're not scared." They then heard a yowl and saw StormPelt run from a different direction then the noise was from. "RUN!" He said not even bothering to stop. They both hesitated but as they did a huge black and brown dog leaped from the bushes at MothPaw and LeopardPaw.  They both ran, side by side, in a direction. The dog was growing further and further away. They didn't realize they were running towards the cliff edge until they were there. They skidded to a stop. MothPaw looked at LeopardPaw, who looked at MothPaw, they stared each other in the eyes. Pure terror in both of their expressions. They knew what was to come. A second after they reached the cliff the dog was in front go them. StarClan help us. MothPaw prayed. The dog walked closer growling. MothPaw looked in its eyes and she saw a glint of what was most likely smugness. "What are we going to do?"MothPaw asked.
   "I-I dont know." The older apprentice replied. "So this is it Huh? We're going to be mauled by a dog?" MothPaw asked. They kept backing up but looked behind them. "The cliff is behind us..." MothPaw said "And the dog is in front of us..."'LeopardPaw added. MothPaw took in a deep breath "I know what we must do. We must take a warriors path. We must attack the dog to try and save the clan." LeopardPaw looked at MothPaw with wide eyes. "T-that's suicide MothPaw! That dog is over double out sizes! It will kill us before we can lay a claw on it!" MothPaw turned to LeopardPaw. "I-I know we won't die. It's a feeling. Like that StarClan is protecting us." MothPaw said. LeopardPaw took in a deep breath. "Fine." They both got into a battle stance and hissed at the dog. "Confuse it then I will attack taking the attention off of you. Once the attention is off of you attack the dog. It will draw its attention back to you. Then I will attack. And keep going like that. Get it?" MothPaw says. Explaining the plan. LeopardPaw nods. They both scrunch up their muscles and LeopardPaw launches herself right beside the dog. It's attention goes to LeopardPaw. MothPw takes her chance and she flung herself at its head.
She scratches at its eyes and nose. The dog thrashes it's head but MothPaw dug her claws in. She is finally flung from the dogs head and hits a tree. MothPaw doesn't get back up. A whimper is heard and then MothPaw opens back up her eyes briefly. She sees that there id blood trailing from the dogs eyes and nose. "Y-you blinded it and may have even hurt its sense of smell." LeopardPaw says in awe. "I-I just did the only thing u knew could ever stop it." She says weakly before her eyes close and LeopardPaw lets out a yowl. Her head goes down to MothPaws chest. She l'est out a sigh of relief. "There's still a heartbeat." After a while of waiting HawkTalon, SteelPaw, StormPelt, and JuniperBerry find them. MothPaw has woken back up but was still a bit sore. She had only fallen unconscious due to the hit. "I'm so sorry I left you two instead of staying with you two." He apologized. "What happened with the dog?" He asked then LeopardPaw's eye lit up. "It has backed us up to the cliff. MothPaw came up with an idea to fight it. I distracted it and ate flung herself at its head! She blinded it and even hurt its sense of smell!" Everyone looked at MothPaw in awe. "Is that true?" StormPelt asked. MothPaw nodded. "You are going to make a fine, fine warrior little one. Let's go back to camp and prepare for training ok?" LeopardPaw and MothPaw nod.

When it's sunhigh
    MothPaw was bouncing a lot. FeatherStar, MothPaw, and StormPelt has already found their way to the training grove, a place where the ground is soft and perfect for any falls and training stuff. They were waiting for LeopardPaw who had to go make dirt. "Ok I'm back!" LeopardPaw announced coming in to the grove. "Ok let's not waste any more time." FeatherStar said. "I would like to train you two in tag team battling so HawkTalon, SteelPaw, DewNose and RiverPaw Ok MothPaw, LeopardPaw watch us very carefully!" FeatherStar said. They watched as StormPelt and FeatherStar battled with DewNose and HawkTalon. FeatherStar and StormPelt were back to back while HawkTalon and DewNose were facing either one of the cats. StormPelt and FeatherStar were the better team. Because they were back to back when one of them had one fo the opposing ones dazed they helped battle the other cat until the other cat was able to get up. In the end StormPelt and FeatherStar won. "Ok MothPaw and LeopardPaw will be fighting against SteelPaw and NightPaw. Remember claws sheathed! BEGIN!" MothPaw immediately went to LeopardPaw's side. LeopardPaw was taking on NightPaw and MothPaw was stuck with SteelPaw. MothPaw dodged dodged each of his moves by jumping away or ducking. He was getting frustrated and let out a lazy blow which let her get underneath him. MothPaw used her back paws and pushed up. He was flung a bit backwards. MothPaw didn't waste her chance. She leapt on top of him. Her front paws on beach of his shoulders and her back legs on each of his flanks. He was 'out'. MothPaw went to help LeopardPaw. She was being beaten so she ran towards NightPaw. MothPaw leaped at his side catching him off guard. He fell over and that let LeopardPaw get up and come over to NightPaw. Together they were able to pin him as he was the strongest fo the apprentices. "Ok we have our winners! LeopardPaw and MothPaw!" FeatherStar announces paddy over to MothPaw. "You did good my apprentice. I'm looking forward to your warrior assignment! It should be in a moon or two at this rate!" She purred. "I suggest sticking with LeopardPaw! She seems to be the best cat for you to battle along side. You two are connected with your minds or something when you battle. Because when I watched you did the same moves at the same time!" With that FeatherStar padded off. "Lest head back to camp ok? The suns starting to set." MothPaw looked down at the lake and saw two cats standing there. One looked very familiar. Like she remembered him from somewhere but she was to tired to care. They started to trot back to camp.

Chapter 12

.Quailsong's POV

"Um... I wanted to tell you that I... I... I love you Quailsong." When I heard those words time seemed to stop, just me and Duskfire. I knew when I got to know him that we would grow to be very close but I never expected that in the few moons that he had been staying in LakeClan that he had grown to love me. "I-I..." I said. Then I closed my eyes and felt deep inside myself. I thought about when I first met Duskfire. I felt compelled to his side. When we were in NightWhisper's den I felt the need to help him.
   Third person POV
"I-I..." Quailsong opened up her eyes she and Dustfire locked gazes her gaze filled with something, passion perhaps, "I think I love you to." She replied. "R-really?!" Duskfire said ecstatic. "No." She replied. She turned to walk away. Duskfire's tail drooped "Oh..." He said looking down at the ground. "No, I don't think I love you I know I love you!" Quailsong said and turned around and leaped at Duskfire who looked at her "Your serious?" He said "Mhm!" Quailsong said rubbing her cheek on his.  "So will you be my mate then Quailsong?" He asked. "Of course!" They entwined their tails, Quailsong leaned on Duskfire. "You know your very mean right?" Duskfire teased. Quailsong gasped in mock belief. "Really? Me mean?" They laughed and watched the sunset together. Their eyes grew drowsy and they curled up together and slept

Time skip -sunrise-
They woke up to the feeling of paws pricing their side's rudely. "Huh wha-" Quailsong started. They both immediately realized what had happened and blushed. The cats who were there were Icestorm, Lilypaw, and  Bramblesnow. "Umm... We need you two to come back to camp." Bramblesnow said. They nodded. "Guys you continue. I'll deal with this." Bramblesnow escorted them and while on the way back they talked. "Ok what happened. Everyone thought you had taken her hostage Duskfire." Bramblesnow said. Quailsong looked horrified, "That's not what happened at all! He met me at the lake and asked me to be his mate! We accidentally fell asleep while watching the sunset!" She explained. Duskfire nodded. "Well everyone hates you right now Duskfire. I'm just gonna warn you." Bramblesnow said. They walked into camp and everyone started to hiss at Duskfire. But Quailsong hissed back at them. She walked side by side with him into Lakestar's den. "Duskfire, Quailsong there you are!" He said delighted. "Hello Lakestar." Duskfire replied. "What happened? When you two didn't return people started rumors..."    
    Lakestar started. "We know about the rumors. But the thing is me and Duskfire met the lake and he asked me to be his mate. I accepted and we accidentally fell asleep while watching the sunset together." Quailsong explained again. Lakestar nodded and smiled. "Ah he finally did it. No one here is blind we all saw the way you two look at each other." Duskfire and Quailsong looked at each other and blushed. "Well both of you may go." Lakestar said. they left the den and Lakestar followed them. He jumped into the high stone. "Every cat only enough to swim gather under the high stone for a clan meeting." He said. "You all know about the disappearance of Duskfire and Quailsong. Well they meant no harm. Duskfire and Quailsong were out late last night watching the sunset and they accidentally fell asleep. Now I don't want to see any of you hiss at them anymore. Clan dismissed."
   Duskfire and Quailsong had listened to the short announcement thing and nuzzled each other. Bramblesnow approached them. "Could you two please go hunting? So that you can do something productive while being with eachother." They looked at him and nodded. Duskfire and Quailsong padded out of camp.  They went to an area known to have plenty of prey and tasted the air for scents. Nothing. Only stale scents. Duskfire looked up at Quailsong. "You smell this to?" Quailsong finances and nodded. "L-let's try another spot." Duskfire suggested and she followed him. Again only stale scents. this happened at all of the hunting spots expect for one. Duskfire tasted the air for scents and smelled Only one fresh scent the others were stale. It was a mouse. Quickly dropping into a crouch Duskfire opened his mouth to taste the scents, he finally licked his game onto the mouse and started to creep forward each paw silently hitting the ground. Then, he pounced the mouse squeaked in fear but it was to late he landed on it and killed it with a swift bite to the neck. Thank you for this prey Starclan he thought and brought it back to Quailsong "Only a mouse scent. What's going on?" he said. She shrugged "Their going to think we are lying and they are going to punish us for being lazy and only catching a mouse." Quailsong realized. "Well there's nothing else we have to go back." He replied and she nodded.
When they got back
  "Only a single mouse for being out that long?" Bramblesnow said anger edging at his voice "Please you must believe us! There was nothing else at any of the other spots!" Duskfire pleaded. Quailsong nodded. "Look just put it in the pile. I knew this would happen when the prey being brought back started to reduce. at first I thought it was laziness But now when you two some of the most hardworking in the clan only bring back 1 mouse I know somethings not right. But what's causing it?" He wondered.   Duskfire and Quailsong shrugged  and headed to the prey pile where Duskfire laid his mouse down. "Im not going to eat today Quailsong, the elders need it more then I do."  Quailsong nodded "I will not eat either today."

  There were gasps and a voice came from behind them "Hey guys." Duskfire and Quailsong turned around to find...

Chapter 13

.Note! If I switch between doing 'Willowpath' and 'WillowPath' or something like that it's because my phone and kindle autocorrect it to either of them! Let's get on with the story shall we?

Willowpath woke up and felt someone nudging her. She got up and stretched. Looking out of she den she realized it was almost sunrise. She grumbled noticing who woke her up. It was Sunstar himself! She immediately wiped all signs of irritation off of her face. He laughed. "Don't act like your not annoyed. It's before sunrise. Starclan knows I didn't want to wake up so early. But Windwatcher said last night to me that you are good to leave in the morning. He requested before sunhigh. He did that because he's not coming." Sunstar grumbled. I have an idea. A sinister grin crossed across her face. "You know. For making us wake up so early we should have a bit of payback!" She said. Sunstar leaned in " I'm listening... "

Willowpath and Sunstar crept into the Medicine den both with moss full of cold water. Then Willowpath flicker her tail and at the same time they bit down hard the water squeezing out. Into a sleeping Windwatcher who screeched. No one woke up though, except for Windwatcher who glared at Sunstar and Willowpath who were laughing. "You know Willowpath, for a Lakeclan cat your not that bad. Also Windwatcher your coming with us." Windwatcher was about to protest out Sunstar shot him a look and Windwatcher didn't offer a word. "I'll go get Kestralsplash and Ottercoat!" Willowpath finally said. Sunstar nodded and she padded off to the warriors den. She looked around for the two deputies and finally found them in them back corner. They were curled together and she almost walked out of the den to let them sleep then she remembered, that after moons of staying at Sunclan camp, They were FINALLY going home!
She picked up a paw and tapped them both. They didn't move them she tapped harder. Then harder again. No responce except for them moving in there sleep. She then inhaled. Time to use 'The Anhileator' something my clan oh so DEARLY loves she picked her paw up high and brought it down with as much force as she could (claws sheathed) she curled her paw at the end. She ended up slapping them both across their cheeks. The toms jolted up both letting out a bowl but with no noise. "Lets go you to Windwatcher and Sunstar are waiting. Ottercoat were finally going home! Isn't that amazing? If course *she said turning to Kestralsplash* We will miss you! You Sunclan cats have helped me and Ottercoat so much over the past few moons!" Ottercoat and Kestralsplash looked sad. Then Ottercoat finally looked at her with a fake-angry look "You dare use 'The Anilehator' (idk how to spell it) on me?!" he teamed up with Kestralsplash and they chased her all the way to Sunstar and Windwatcher. They all laughed and walked out of the Sunclan camp. Willowpath caught Kestralsplash and Ottercoat sharing glances.
She didn't know what to think of it and just kept walking. When they reached the border Sunstar and Kestralsplash stopped. Ottercoat and Willowpath looked confused. "We can go this is our territory after all. We would technically be escorting you." Willowpath said and Ottercoat nodded. Sunstar shrugged and they kept walking. When they reached the camp entrance the guards saw Sunstar and Kestralsplash first and they hissed. Ottercoat hissed back at them and their faces lit up "Ottercoat! Willowpath! Your back! It's been a few moons now and something has happened." Bramblesnow (one of the cats guarding the entrance of camp) said. Ottercoat and Willowpath's faces drained color and Bramblesnow saw "No no no no!" He said "Not like that! Darkhawk and Hawkpaw beat up a rouge who we let stay at camp to heal! He became a warrior named Duskfire!" He said. Bramblesnow padded over to Willowpath. "It's nice to see you again my daughter." He said looking her head. "Daaaaaaad!" She said pushing him away teasingly. "Lets just go into your camp." Kestralsplash said. "Then we will leave." Sunstar added. Kestralsplash nodded as Bramblesnow beckoned them with his tail. "Lets go inside them shall we?" he said and they all followed. No cat noticed them walk into camp. Willowpath noticed a black Tom with hazel eyes and a hazel muzzle who was covered in scars talking to the lean figure of Quailsong. So that must be Duskfire then! She thought. She opened up her jaws to speak. "Hey guys..." She said. Everyone's attention turned to them and they all stared at them for a few seconds before they all got up (Except Darkhawk and Hawkpaw) and started asking how they were. Duskfire looked at Ottercoat, Sunstar, Willowpath, and Kestralsplash and she saw him cock his head at Quailsong who whispered something to him and he nodded.
After the commotion was done she approached DuskFire and greeted him. "Hello, you may not know me as I had broken a limb and had to stay with Sunclan for a few moons where I guess you joined the clan." She said and he nodded. "I'm Duskfire. Quailsong told me your Willowpath if I'm correct." He said with a smile. Willowpath nodded. She turned her head to see Ottercoat and Kestralsplash lock eyes and there was a look they both shared. Longing? She thought No they are from two separate clans they can't have feelings for each other. When she looked back Kestralsplash and Sunstar were leaving with Windwatcher who finished talking with their medicine cat. "You've become mates with Quailsong?" She asked and he nodded. "She's really kind and considerate. I can't help but love her." He said with a genuine smile just thinking about Quailsong. Willowpath laughed. "Ok. Hope the relationship goes well." Duskfire nodded. He walked back over to Quailsong. They both chatted for a while. They do make a cute couple she thought with a laugh. She and Ottercoat padded to the treadmill pile and each grabbed a piece of prey and they both went separate ways to go chat with someone. Ottercoat was talking with Darkhawk and Hawkpaw was talking with a different apprentice. Willowpath was chatting with her dad.

Chapter 14

.(SOOOOOOOOOOOOO Sorry bout that!)

(I'm going to try to write my books a bit differently!)
He sighed as himself and Sunstar padded out of Lakeclan camp. They walked in complete silence, only the crunching of leaves could be heard. Then suddenly. Sunstar turned to face him. "Yes?" He asked. "What did you talk to the deputy of LakeClan about while they stayed with us." He said narrowing his eyes. "I-I didn't talk to them about clan business!" Kestralsplash said quickly. Sunstar hissed. "Sure you didn't, I saw how close you are with them! You could have easily told them secrets about the clan." Sunstar turned with a low hiss and lashed his tail. and started walking back to Sunclan camp. Kestralsplash hung his head low and his tail drooped. He looked behind him and cast a willing glance back at the camp. One day we can be friends. Or more then friends. Without our clans getting in the way. he thought and padded back with Sunstar.

On the way back Sunstar sniffed the air and cocked his head. He turned back to face Kestralsplash. "Do you smell that?" He said. Kestralsplash snuffed the air. Ugh what is that smell?! He thought as he wrinkled his nose. Kestralsplash nodded. "What is that putrid stench?" He asked Sunstar. Sunstar froze for a second his eyes wide with fear, I guess it might be something from when he, LakeStar, Featherstar, and a few other clan cats were still finding a place to live after the great blaze happened. Kestralsplash guessed looking at Sunstar's face. Sunstar shook his head. "I-it's nothing Kestralsplash let's keep going".
When they got back to camp Sunstar climbed on top of the high stone. He glared at Kestralsplash before calling a clan meeting. Kestralsplash kept his head and tail low as he walked over and sat at the edge of the high stone. "All cats old enough to run in the meadows gather for a clan meeting!" He said. Cats curiously gathered unsure of what the meeting was about. "First reason why I called the meeting, WillowPath and OtterCoat are back in their territory, they got there safe and sound. The second reason is that on our way back me and Kestralsplash smelled a very odd stench, I thought I remembered it from when we were coming to the Great Lake after the Great Blaze! Be weary for I fear that we have not seen the last of THEM!" Sunstar hissed the last part and all of the warriors eyes widened and they jumped back their fur spiking, all except for Spiralfeather and Kestralsplash who were only moon old kits when the Great blaze happened. They looked at each other in confusion. Spiralfeather raised an eyebrow and Kestralsplash shrugged. The unspoken words What's the Great Blaze? I don't know "I want patrols to be doubled and more security! More cats shall be guarding the camp! Meeting is dismissed!" Sunstar said before leaping down. "I want my senior warriors to talk with me in my den!" He said Blacksun, Oceanwave, Wolfpelt, Silverclaw, and Bloodclaw padded into his den after him. Kestralsplash padded over to Spiralfeather. "What's the Great blaze?" he asked. "I don't know... I've only heard of it from the nursery tales. But what's 'THEM' they never told us what they are." Kestralsplash shrugged and sighed. "Whatever they are I know we'll be ready brother!" his sister told him. He looked up and smiled at her. "Yeah. Yeah! We will! they won't know what hit them!" Spiralfeather giggled and nodded. They heard a rustling in the bushes behind them and they froze. Turning their heads they saw a yellow and orange pelt with green eyes. They let out a breath of relief. "Windwatcher it's only you." Kestralsplash said. Windwatcher dipped his head. "Wheres Sunstar and the others?" He asked. Spiralfeather pointed her ears in the direction of Sunstar's den "In his den discussing about what's going on." She said. Windwatcher nodded and padded over to the fresh kill pile. He sniffed around and scrunched up his nose. "When was this prey caught?" He asked Kestralsplash while he continued to dig through the pile. "This morning why?" Windwatcher picked up three voles and laid them down in front of them. "These are rotting." He said. Kestralsplash sniffed them and scrunched up his nose. Sure enough he smelled the scent of crowfood. "I believe Blacksun brought these in. He must be getting his prey from the side of the thunderpath! Because yesterday there was also rotting prey he brought in." Kestralsplash said, Windwatcher nodded and picked up a regular crow. "Ill go eat this while sorting prey in my den. If you need anything then just ask!" He called over his shoulder. Kestralsplash and Spiralfeather nodded and yawned.

The sun was starting to set and they decided to head back into the warriors den. Kestralsplash walked next to Spiralfeather and the siblings said goodnight to each other while going to their nests. They curled up and Spiralfeather went to sleep. Kestralsplash pretended to sleep but he couldn't. Something was bothering him, many hours later the warriors entered the warriors den. He heard voices. "So... The white death is back? Why couldn't it have stayed and died with the Great Blaze?" He heard a voice say "I don't know Blacksun but we can't let Kestralsplash and Spiralfeather find out. They would freak out and they already have so much to worry about." Said another voice. "Yeah, I think Oceanwave is right this time Blacksun. Let's just go to sleep and think about it. Goodnight." They all padded into their nests and went to sleep a few murmuring 'goodnight' back. What's the white death? Why is it back? What's going on? Kestralsplash thought. As the hours passed he kept thinking and he couldn't fall asleep. He just HAD to have answers. As soon as the sun began to rise Kestralsplash heard two cats fighting in the clearing. "We CAN'T let this illness spread again! It nearly wiped us out last time!" He heard another cat hiss. "Well Sunstar we lost all of our here to even TRY to help cure the white death in the Great Blaze! I don't have a way to cure it!" In response he heard Sunstar hiss. "So be it. We will get rid of them then." The other cat gasped "So you just expect us to kill our own clanmates!? What kind of leader are you! I wont let you do that! Even if they get infected they are still our clanmates!" Sunstar hissed and meowed lowly. "Think what you want but as soon as they catch the white death They are NOT our clanmates!"

Chapter 15

."Today we are having  the gathering." She smiled as Featherstar padded onto the high ledge.  "Today is the gathering. I will chose MothPaw, Leopardpaw, myself, StormPelt, DewNose, Riverpaw, Snowpelt, Icesplash, and WrenPaw are going."  MothPaw smiled, I've been chosen! She thought. "The gathering will start at moonhigh so we will start going at moonrise. Meeting dismissed!" Everyone nodded and the chosen cats went to their dens and slept.

"MothPaw wake up!" She heard. She groaned. "What?" She murmured turning over. "MOTHPAW!!" Leopardpaw hissed kicking her.   "FINE!" She said getting up and hissed. "It's time for the gathering." Leopardpaw said rolling her eyes. "Oh yeah!" She said running out of the den to Featherstar.  "I see your awake finally." Said Featherstar. "We're off." Said Featherstar with a yawn as everyone walked along a worn route. "Mothpaw, for generations these paths were walked to get from the ancient Quailclan and the ancient Fireclan to the very same gathering place here." Featherstar said.

Mothpaw sat down and chatted with a few Lakeclan apprentices. "How cold does it get up in the mountains?" Asked an apprentice. "Very!" She responded. "But is Tundraclan cats are built for the cold so it feels like nothing!" She said proudly. The lakeclan apprentices said "Woah" "Yep! How's it like living by the lake?" She asked. "In the warmer seasons Lakeclan goes into the lake as an entire clan and we all play and have fun!" It was her turn to say "Woah" "That sounds really nice!" She said and one Lakeclan apprentice nodded. "Yeah! Lakestar is so nice! He even let a rouge join our clan! The rouges name is Du-" the apprentice got cut off by the leaders starting the gathering. "Everyone! Let's settle down aright? Anyways I'll start the gathering." Said LakeStar. "The prey is running well, we've taken in a brand new rouge! His name is Dusk, but he took on the warrior name Duskfire!"
The clans chanted "Duskfire! Duskfire!" He cleared his throat. "Ottercoat and Bramblesnow smelled a odd scent today while patrolling. The odd part of the scent is the fact it smells like the scent from..." he whispered the last words "the shadows..." the clans gasped. "No! That can't be! They all burned in the Great Blaze!" "No!" "That can't be!" Yowled the clans. "Aright everyone settle down! I'm sure it's nothing!" Lakestar said and he dipped his head to Featherstar. "Thank you Lakestar... two of my clans apprentices were attacked by a dog today. But thanks to Mothpaw's quick thinking and Leopardpaw's skill they were able to survive and even blind the dog!" The clans gasped then chanted "Leopardpaw! Mothpaw!" Mothpaw's fur grew warm and the Lakeclan apprentices smiled at her "Thats amazing Mothpaw." They said "It was nothing." She said meekly.
"Nothing? Mothpaw you took on a full grown dog and blinded it!" "It was really all thanks to Leopardpaw." "Mothpaw dont be so modest! I would have never been able to do that if it weren't for you." Said a voice from behind them. They turned to see Leopardpaw. "Awe thanks." She said with a smile. "Let's listen to the leaders now". Said a Lakeclan apprentice turning back to the leaders. "-ell. However we have also smelled the same stench. This time on our way back to camp yesterday. But I'm sure it's nothing." Sunstar finished. "Alright. You may all now talk until the start of moonfall."   ||Moonfall is when the moon starts to fall from its position at Moonhigh|| Everyone started to talk again and it was all nice. Everyone peaceful and happy instead of at each other's throats. Why can't it always be this way? If we all become one big clan then we will be able to get more prey and won't have nearly enough threats. And we will be able to deal with those threats more easily.  MothPaw thought.

After a while it was time to head back to camps and get some rest. "Ok! The gathering is over! We will head back to our territory! See you next full moon Lakeclan and Sunclan!" Said Featherstar hopping down. She flicked her tail and all of her warriors and apprentices followed her. Mothpaw hurried to catch up at the front of her group with her mentor. "MothPaw." Said Featherstar. "Hm?" She said looking at Featherstar. "I know your to young to know about what happened at the Great Blaze, and that you don't even know about the shadows other then nursery tales. But I assure you the shadows aren't back, they all burned in the Great Blaze." FeatherStar said and MothPaw nodded. "Of course." She said with a smile. "Do you trust me?" Asked Featherstar. "Of course! I trust you as my leader and as my mentor!"
Said Mothpaw who was shocked to hear such words from her own leader. Featherstar looked at her apprentice and smiled. "Good to know. Anyways when we get back I want you to get a good night's rest. And not to go out and catching a thorn on your sides." Mothpaw nodded. They padded for a while in silence. Then finally they reached camp. After everyone got inside camp and was heading to their dens Featherstar stopped "You know if you ever have a dream that isn't quite right or doesn't feel like a normal dream then talk to me or one of our medicine acts alright?." FeatherStar said without looking behind her.
"What do you mean by that?" Asked MothPaw but Featherstar was already inside her den. What does she mean by that? And does she know about the few times I've been there? She can't possibly know about that. I never told anyone about that. It's probably nothing though. I should get some sleep, I've always worried to much about everything. She thought as she padded into the apprentice den. She yawned as she stretched and laid in her nest. Time to rest, I'll be doing so much in the morning when I train with Featherstar, Leopardpaw, my brother and his partner again she thought before her mind drifted off into sleep
