-Ivypool's POV-

Ivypool leaped at Hawkfrost, trying to pin him down. She slipped on the mud and ended up landing ungracefully on her now dirty paws.

"Remember. When you lunge don't let your back paws resist, otherwise you'll twist a paw." Hawkfrost meowed.

"I'm sorry. I'm just a little... Distracted today." Ivypool replied.

"That's okay. Just try to concentrate." Hawkfrost meowed, his voice softer. Ivypool was slightly surprised by his sudden change of tone.

"Anyways, you've trained enough today." Hawkfrost meowed. He rested his tail on Ivypool's shoulder and she felt her heart skip a beat.

"I-I'll see you tomorrow night then?" Ivypool asked, her voice no more than a whisper.

"Of course." Hawkfrost replied. Ivypool blushed slightly and padded away.

 Ivypool woke back in the Warriors den. She quickly licked the cut on her shoulder.

-Briarlight's POV-

Briarlight yawned and woke with a start. She blinked her eyes rapidly trying to shake off the sleepiness that was dragging at her paws.

"Looks like you're finally awake." Jayfeather meowed from across the medicine den.

"Not all of us wake at the crack of dawn." Briarlight purred. Jayfeather merely shrugged and continued to sort herbs. Leafpool padded into the den with a rabbit in her jaws.

"Here Briarlight. I thought you might be hungry." Leafpool meowed.

"Thanks Leafpool!" Briarlight meowed, taking the rabbit. Briarlight glanced at Jayfeather out of the corner of her eye. She tried to tear her gaze away but continued to stare into his soft blue eyes.... As blue as the night sky or like a calm ocean... She felt heat creeping up her ears.

"Briarlight? You'd better eat that rabbit before it gets cold." Leafpool meowed.

"Oh! Erm, yeah..." Briarlight meowed. She blushed and quickly took a bite of her rabbit.

-Icecloud's POV-

Icecloud sniffed the air, hoping to scent prey. Nothing.

"Maybe we should bring the patrol closer to Riverclan border?" Icecloud suggested.

"Great idea Icecloud." Lionblaze meowed from ahead of her. Foxleap, Cinderheart, Poppyfrost, and Berrynose nodded their agreement. Icecloud blushed and lowered her head.

 She lifted her head once again then noticed Cinderheart shift closer to Lionblaze. Icecloud blinked and felt hurt creeping up on her. Then she shook out her fur. No... Lionblaze and Cinderheart have always been good friends... Nothing to be jealous of.

"Finally! I smell prey! Let's split up into groups of two." Lionblaze meowed.

"I'll can go with Poppyfrost." Berrynose meowed. Cinderheart opened her jaws to say something but Icecloud quickly cut in.

"I guess I'll go with Lionblaze." Icecloud meowed.

"Erm, I guess that leaves me with Foxleap." Cinderheart meowed slowly. Yes! The other groups padded away leaving Icecloud alone with Lionblaze.
