-Ivypool's POV-

Ivypool noticed Bumblestripe staring at Dovewing. At least Dovewing has a LIVING cat that likes her.. Ivypool flattened her ears and glared at Dovewing. Am I jealous? No. Of course not. In fact I'm glad Bumblestripe likes Dovewing. That means that Tigerheart will leave her alone! 

"So how are you Ivy?" Dovewing whispered. Ivypool was quiet for a few moments, reluctant to reply.

"Fine." She replied. Why would I tell Dovewing what's going on? She never asks me about my personal issues. Dovewing seems to only care about herself! Ivypool narrowed her eyes. Ivypool pushed the thought of Dovewing out of her head and replaced it with thoughts of Hawkfrost.

 Seeing Hawkfrost every night is great... No! You are a loyal clan cat. Being with him would be betraying my clan. Not to mention he used to be in Riverclan! And this is TIGERSTAR'S son we're talking about here. I mean, would you ever date Brambleclaw? Ew, of course not. Ivypool sighed. Hawkfrost was different though.

 "What's that noise?" Dovewing suddenly asked, her voice anxious. Lionblaze whipped around.

"What do you hear?" Lionblaze asked quickly.

"U-um yelling and.... growling I think. Kind of like a..... a... FOX!" Dovewing yelled. Ivypool pricked her ears. She didn't hear anything. Ivypool noticed Icecloud doing the same.

"Follow me!" Dovewing meowed, her voice urgent. The gray she-cat bolted off and the rest of the group followed. Then the patrol stopped. They stopped just in time to see Briarlight pass out.

"QUICK! Lionblaze!" Cinderheart yowled. Lionblaze jumped forward and slashed his claws into the fox's flank. It yelled and jerked away. Icecloud joined in and nipped it's hind legs. The fox snapped it's jaws in Icecloud's direction but Lionblaze took the fox's neck into his jaws. Ivypool finally came to her senses and jumped onto the fox. She pinned it down by it's neck. Blood splattered onto her fur and the smell of blood filled her senses. Ivypool bit down on the fox's neck and she heard a deafening crack.

"Dead." Lionblaze annouced. Ivypool realized that Briarlight had been moved away from the fight. Only then did she realize that Jayfeather was there. Well I guess that was a good idea considering there was a thrashing fox right next to Briarlight...

"Why is Briarlight out here?!" Bumblestripe asked worriedly. He ran over to his sister and looked at her with wide eyes.

"Don't worry. She isn't bleeding and I couldn't find any serious injuries on her." Jayfeather meowed. Bumblestripe still looked anxious.

"Come on guys! Help me carry her back to camp!" Bumblestripe meowed. Lionblaze, Bumblestripe, and Icecloud began to carry Briarlight back to camp. Ivypool blinked. Ug this is so tedious. What was Briarlight thinking coming out here??

 Ivypool closed her eyes. Sometimes I wish I could just stay with Hawkfrost all the time.
