Firefly cowered in her cave, fear pulsing through her. Pearl was dangerous, she had already made four kills, and Firefly herself only had one kill. Only if I kill Pearl myself! Now, Firefly had the chance. Pearl was outside her cave, mocking her to come out. "Oh, come out Firefly! Are you worried that I will eat you?" she smirked. Firefly shivered. She had caught a gaze full of hunger for power from Pearl. "If you are invincible yourself, I don't care! I will sacrifice myself!" Firefly leapt out of the cave and raked her razor-sharp claws across Pearl's nose. The dragon shrieked with rage and lunged for Firefly's throat. "Never!" Firefly growled, dodging the attack and going into a jet stream. There was a whoosh behind her as Pearl entered the jet stream. I must find a way to make her vulnerable. Suddenly, Firefly had an idea! Firefly exited the jet stream, and so did Pearl. Hissing with rage, Firefly flew above Pearl's head and used her hind claws to rake Pearl's eyes. "Nooooooo!" Pearl roared, her voice filled with pain. Firefly backed away from the dragon and watched as she flew around in a circle, smacking her head against mountain rocks. "Time to end this!" Firefly lunged for Pearl's throat. "I'll make sure that you are not invincible!" CRACK. Pearl's body froze in midair and plummeted towards the ground. Under there, Firefly knew that there were hungry wolves that would eat her carcass.
