Pearl tossed her head in the air, cheering, as she bit into a fat rabbit. She had the most kills in the arena, and she was sure that she was going to win. Moonlight flickered onto the entrance of the cave. Flaring her wings, she looked down at the alley below the mountain, looking for more victims to kill. There! Truimph flared through her as she spotted a black dragon flying to another cave, but lower and on a lower mountain. Pearl lunged from her spot and reached for the dragon. The dragon whirled around just in time, and met her blow with a hefty swipe of his talon. Pain sliced her nose, and her own blood began to leak into her mouth. Pearl continued fighting. Pearl pinned the dragon onto the wall of the mountains, and began clawing at his exposed throat. The dragon hissed, and tried to dodge, but Pearl was fast. She slashed her claws across his throat. YES! I'M GOING TO BE THE VICTOR!
