Name Reasoning // Her mother wanted a continuous fruit theme for her children since she wanted them to stand out. So she gave her the name Cherrykit. Stream is for both her strong swimming abilities; as well as her personality which is as strong and unmoving as a stream of water.

Gender // femalePersonality // When she was younger, Cherrystream was quite shy, intimidated at first by the much larger cats roaming around. For awhile she didn't want to even leave the nursery, afraid that she might get squashed. Of course when she did leave, she quickly learnt that mostly every cat treated her well, and that there was nothing to fear. As she grew up, her shyness mostly melted away, though still shot up when all eyes were on her; or there were a lot of cats around her; like at gatherings. She was always a bit awkward at first, but after she grew comfortable with a cat; opened up more. As she grew up, she became a lot more confident, though Cherrystream was never someone you'd consider extroverted; but she always became a lot more playful around friends; and happier overall. She also was a lot more expressive, and was pretty easy to read. If she disliked something -like dawn patrol- then she'd sulk around and grumble. But when it came to things she liked, then she got as much energy as a kit did. She was quite gullible, almost always believing everything that a cat told her; as well as a bit absentminded.

Appearance // Cherrystream is a diluted calico she cat who stands at average height. She has a slim but still muscular build, with powerful legs and a sleek look that most of her clanmates possess. Her fur is rather short, with a long fluffy tail. She also has ear tufts, and a few scars from training or fighting. The most noticeable would be the one on the left side of her flank, where she was clawed at deeply. Her eyes are a pale yellow-green

Mother // Dappledrain - a calico she cat with yellow-green eyes. She had a small but still muscular build, with short fur and a slim tail. Dappledrain loved all her kits naturally, and loves nothing more then swapping stories about Cherrystream as a kit; though their almost always embarrassing ones. The two get along well, and Cherrystream loves her mother's wild and free spirit. Even when she left the nursery she always made a point to go see and spend quality time with her mother.

Dappledrain is a beautiful name.

Father // Palestorm - a mostly white tom with a few gray markings in his fur. Whitestorm has a muscular build and long bushy tail; as well as deep blue eyes. He was quite the worry-wart when Cherrykit and Applekit were first born; but grew to become a lot more serious and strict with them as they grew. He didn't want them thinking that they could get away with just anything; though he melts inwardly when they flash him wide, innocent eyes. He adores both his daughters and while he tries to play the 'cool dad'; he's usually not. Cherrystream enjoys spending quiet time with him; and finds herself wrapped up in his fluffy tail when she needs comfort.

Is his name Palestorm or Whitestorm? Because first it says Palestorm, then it says Whitestorm.

Siblings // Applestride - A white she cat with a few patches of gray. She's tall and slim; with a thin tail and darker green-yellow eyes. Applestride was quite the troublemaker as a kit, and even as a adult she still is. Causing trouble was always in her nature, so much so that she actually was punished and forced to stay in the nursery for a moon. Regardless, it never seemed to damper her spirits since she never seemed to learn her lesson. Cherrystream was close to Applestride as kits, but when they grew up, they had a lot more quarrels. Because of her nature, Cherrystream often tried to look out for her sister. However Applestride would accuse Cherrystream of treating her like a kit; or trying to act as though she knew better then her when they were the same age. Their closeness melted away, just barely there. There is still care in their hearts for the other, but it was hard for either to admit it.

Their relationship sounds a lot like most siblings relationship. Good job

Mate // Ivystone - a sleek furred gray she cat with mackerel tabby markings, Ivystone has green eyes and a tall and muscular build with a long thin tail. One of her ears are torn from a fight, and she has a scar on her chin. Ivystone and Cherrystream were best friends as kits; and she supported her decision to become mates with Adderleap; even if she didn't agree with it. When Adderleap left, Ivystone became quite depressed, but Cherrystream stuck by her, helping to raise the kits along with her warrior duties. It led to feelings developing the two as Ivystone healed, and the two became mates. Cherrystream adores Ivystone, and is proud of her for being able to move on, as well as raise such wonderful -and noisy- kits

Ivystone sounds beautiful. And her and Cherrystream's relationship is adorable

Kits // Snakekit(stream) - a dark reddish brown tom with deep ambery-brown eyes. His fur was short, and he had a long bushy tail. Snakekit was one of Ivystone and Adderleap's kit, so he's not biologically related to Cherrystream, more so an adopted son as well as his siblings. But she loves him all the same. Snakekit reminds her of Applestride, being a troublemaker and mischievous kit who never really grew out of causing trouble. After Cherrystream died, he grew to become a bit more serious and observant, finding that it was his job as the oldest to look after his mother. He took the name Snakestream in honor of his adopted mother who saved his life; a swear to never forget her.

Snakestream is adorable

Rootkit(flower) - a gray tabby she cat with mackerel markings. She has pale green eyes and a fluffy tail. Rootflower was quite bossy, and hated letting her brother take the lead in games. She was just as eager to prove that being second born meant nothing, and her ambition was what Cherrystream found to be adorable. Even when she was a tiny little thing, she'd try and hiss like a 'big cat' though she was usually squeaking like a mouse. Rootflower became quite stand-offish when Cherrystream died, and fell out of training for half a moon before she felt emotionally ready to do anything by grieve again. She's determined to do her best though; so that when they meet again; she can make her adopted mother proud.

Plumkit(feather) - a short and sort of plump reddish brown tabby tom with mackeral markings. He has a long bushy tail and a sleek figure. His eyes are dark green. Plumfeather was the runt of the litter, so he's quite small compared to his siblings. He also is rather quiet in general; and seems to be mature for such a young guy. When he wanted to be a medicine cat, Plumfeather was afraid that he wouldn't be good enough, or that his mother would be disappointed that he wasn't a warrior. But it was Cherrystream that encouraged him to go for his dream. They became quite close, and he mourns her deeply. He likes to tell the stories she told him to the cats who come to him for healing; since he feels like passing her stories on will help him never forget her.

So far it seems like the kits like Cherrystream much more than they like their biological mother.

Backstory // As a kit, Cherrykit was quite shy. The bigger cats were a bit scary looking, and she just wanted to stay inside. However she grew used to the scene of clanmates carrying about their days; and most of her kithood was spent playing and wrestling with her denmates; Applekit and Ivykit. The three girls built up a strong bond; and did pretty much everything together. That all started to change once they became apprentices. They all were so easy training, and it was around then that Applepaw and Cherrypaw began to quarrel. Ivypaw also began eyeing a older tom named Adderpaw, often trying to impress him. For awhile Cherrypaw was afraid that nothing would ever be the same between the three, and that the strings that had once bound them tightly to one another were loose and old. However she tried to not think about it too much and focus on becoming a warrior.

When she did, she was a bit happier. About ten moons later she found out that Ivystone was expecting Adderleap -previously Adderpaw- kits. She was upset because she thought Adderleap wasn't the sort of tom that would settle down. Ivystone brushed her worries off telling her not to worry so much; though was left heartbroken moons later when he began to ignore her and eye other she-cats. Cherrystream stepped forward to help her friend who had fallen into a slump after her mate left her. Even if they weren't as close, Cherrystream still recalled how much fun they had as kits, and it didn't seem right to just leave her to get over it herself. Ivystone seemed thankful for her, and the closeness between the two began to return. Cherrystream was especially honored to get the chance to name one of the kits when they were born. The smallest tom she named Plumkit; and managed to both do her warriors duties like patrol and hunt; as well as help Ivystone care for the three. A little while before they became apprenticed, the two became mates. When it came time for them to be apprenticed, Cherrystream was happy to find out that she would be mentoring one. She was given Snakepaw under her wing, and was excited to teach him pretty much everything there was. Snakepaw was learning really quickly, and it soon became time for him to get his warriors assessment that would determine if he was ready to became a warrior yet.It was around that time that Shadowclan got a new leader, one that was quite ambitious and power-hungry. It was around leafbare when they attacked Riverclan with the intent to kill. They knew that with the water freezing over; they'd be the easiest to invade. A few days ago, Snakepaw gotten hurt during a border skirmish; and was meant to not fight. However he jumped in anyway, getting himself more injured. He was trying to fend off the elders den against a much larger and experienced warrior. Cherrystream saw and leapt into the mess to protect him, though got injured pretty badly. By the time they fended Shadowclan off, she was barely conscious, and was in the medicine cat den. Sadly she died from the battle wounds; and went on to join Starclan later that night. 

Poor Cherrystream.

Extra // Some extra stuff I could seem to fit into the backstory- - After her death Snakepaw asks the leader before his ceremony if Snakestream can be his name because he wants to honor her. The leader agrees so that's how that happened. He doesn't get another mentor since he was close to becoming a warrior anyway; though various warriors in the clan help him out and his assessment is watched by Applestride. Speaking of Applestride; she lives to deeply regret all the times they've fought. She's one of the cats in the medicine cat den with Cherrystream before she dies and they manage to clear up any bad blood. When Plumfeather becomes a medicine cat and gets dreams; he sometimes see's Cherrystream. He keeps it to himself though, just happy that she seems happy. Adderleap sucks >:/
