BACKSTORY — Mousekit and her sister Dovekit were taken care of by a queen called Softcloud after they were born because their mother, Lynxstar, had no time to take care of them herself. Distant/neglectful mother? They led happy, active lives just as kits should. But when they were apprentices, their Clan embarked on a journey to get away from a terrorist Clan called MoonClan. In what way were they terrorists? Before they even got out of their territory, half of FrostClan was driven away.How? The rest of the Clan ran off in fear of having the same fate as their Clanmates.

When they arrived on their new territory, Mousepaw was discouraged by the fact that her sister Dovepaw was injured in a river and could no long train to be a warrior with her. How was she injured in a way she couldn't be a warrior? But she continued to train without her sister. She gained a strong friendship with a young tom called Skypaw. Of course, she knew him for her entire life, but it was just now that she was feeling intense feelings about him.

It didn't take long for the two apprentices to admit their strong love for each other. When they were both warriors, Mousetail found that she was pregnant with Skystorm's kits. That's very early to get pregnant. She was overjoyed, not only because they were Skystorm's kits, but because it meant the Clan would get more warriors very soon.

About a moon into her pregnancy, Dovesong was captured and no cat knew where she went. Mousetail had a guess at where Dovesong went, but no one believed her, so she and Skystorm led a rescue mission to the MoonClan camp to find Dovesong. How did MoonClan find them and why? She was there, but the battle to get her back came at a cost. The cat that Dovesong loved, Foxclaw, died in the battle. Mousetail hated seeing Dovesong so miserable, but nothing she did seemed to cheer her up.

It's short and needs fleshing out, but it has very good potential.
