I remember seeing this one Diamond/Pearl episode once

Well idk if it was DP exactly... but it was some Sinnoh series

It was the episode where Paul was battling Roark

And he had an Azumarill

But the Azumarill lost

And at the end of the episode he traded it

And when the main characters found out they FREAKED OUT

Like Ash was all "OMG1111111 POL Y U TRDD AZRMRMRLLL!?!?!?1/111/1/1?!/!??!!"

(Not a direct quote, but that's how I remembered it)

And I was thinking

"I don't know, Ash, why did you trade your Butterfree for a Raticate?"

Like really, Ash?
