Later that day at the castle Stergis didn't know what to do with himself. His nocturnal dove was not here and he tried to work but he couldn't focus no matter what he did. The only thing occupying his thoughts was her and only his beloved. Even simple candle magic, without her there he couldn't think straight. It didn't matter what he tried his mind and soul lingered on his mate, nothing else. After a few minutes there was a knock at the castle door. Who in the name of the spirits could that be? He knew it wasn't Rae, she wouldn't be back yet. Racing to the door, he was so curious he wanted to see who could be visiting. He slowly opened the door to find Richard standing at the door. Now he was confused.

"Hey Richard, what are you doing here?" Stergis asked with a surprised look.

"Stergis get your jacket. We're going to the pub. The women will meet us there when they get done." Richard told him, hoping to block any objections.

Stergis smiled, grabbing his black duster coat and politely thanked him. He waited for Richard to lead the way. The warlock of battle and the dark sorcerer headed through the forest together to Smitty's pub located in the village. They were off for a night of fun and laughter with their friends and companions. Stergis had been going to the pub with them on a regular basis for the last couple of months. There were a lot of changes, good ones since he met the sorceress. He looked forward to other people and creatures, he even enjoyed the forest from time to time. He walked along side Richard a past enemy turned friend. He couldn't wait to get to the pub.
