Morning arose and all the teddies were causally in the common area, having an early breakfast. All were good and well except for Sierra, she seemed to be having some unbearable cramping.

Joseph: "Somebody wanna switch on the TV?"

Florence: "I'll do it"

Joseph: "Switch it on the news".

All the teddies' eyes widened when they saw the scene taking place in 9-Volt's yard... So, much to my dread, I had indeed ended up on the news.

Harry: "Well I ain't never expected that much of a fight!"

Selvian: "Those stupid reporters, they make our mistress look like a crim!".

Florence: "Ah, what's a crim?"

Selvian: "Ugh, you don't know? It means a criminal".

Just then, Sierra gave an ear piercing scream.

Joseph: "What's up with you?"

Sierra: "Don't you know? I've been pregnant",

said Sierra as she was grimacing through her current cramp. Selvian gasped,

Selvian: "The vomiting, that's morning sickness! We should have known!"

Lester: "What should we do?",

asked Lester, looking slightly confused.

Selvian: "First thing's first... Someone call the mistress!!!"

Joseph: "I'll do it man, the rest of you watch Sierra!"

Selvian: "Here! Take my phone!", called out Selvian.

As it was still very early in the morning, both 18-Volt and I were still asleep and would not be waking up any time soon due to the events of last night. That idea was compromised though when my phone rang. Despite me waking up to the loud ringtone, 18-Volt was still fast asleep and snoring. My phone was on the bedside table and I was still tightly locked in 18-Volt's arms, so I couldn't reach it.

Karla: "18-Volt!",

I yelled, startling him so he would move. This time it worked, he groaned but then he asks me

18-Volt: "that your phone?".

I told him yes. So 18-Volt reached out and gave it to me.

Joseph: "Uh hey, you took a while to pick up",

Karla: "Joseph?",

I thought,

Karla: "You don't usually call".

He quickly interrupted,

Joseph: "Listen Miss, it's an emergency. Sierra? Uh, she's cramping and she said she's pregnant...".

Both 18-Volt and I looked at each other.

Karla: "Say that again?".

Joseph was now yelling,

Joseph: "She's having a baby!".

Karla: "When did she start cramping?"

Joseph: "At five this morning",

it was now eight.

Joseph: "We need you here right now!"

Karla: "Alright, I'll bounce out of bed as quick as I can okay? See you then in about half an hour". I then hung up.

18-Volt gave me a strange look as he said to me,

18-Volt: "Never knew teddy bears could make babies".

And then I looked at him strangely,

Karla: "How on earth do you think Todd exists?".

18-Volt shrugged his shoulders.

18-Volt: "Well uh, I thought people just sew them up and that's how a peace of cloth becomes a teddy bear, with buttons and other stuff added".

I could tell that 18-Volt felt awkward as he was sharing his response. Deep down, he knew he wasn't right but ultimately, he had no idea.

18-Volt: "Hey, maybe we should get going"

Karla: "What are you doing?",

I thought.

18-Volt: "Coming with you",

he answered,

18-Volt: "they might need my help too".

I parked right next to the fortress and ran in, leaving 18-Volt to shut the buggy doors and then walk in at his own pace.

Selvian: "Mistress! We've been waiting for you".

As I got closer to him, I answered,

Karla: "Sorry I'm late, 18-Volt took a while to get changed and then freshen up".

Selvian; "No, that's fine, the medics have just checked her out and she's still got a few hours to go until the baby arrives. She's expected to have it around dinner time".

Just then, 18-Volt walked in and casually strolled over to me and Selvian.

18-Volt: "Hooh, sorry we're late".

Selvian told him the same thing as what I was told.

Selvian then led us into to the main hall where Sierra was lying on a stretcher, with the medics and the rest of the teddy guards surrounding her.

18-Volt: "Uh, don'tcha think she should go to a hospital? There's one in the city...",

thought 18-Volt just as Sierra was getting ready to give another scream.

Karla: "It may not look like a hospital yet but we do have medical supplies in the store room".

18-Volt seemed to have become freaked out when he heard me say that.

Karla: "How do you think the stretcher got here?"

18-Volt: "Uh, I'm not gonna answer that one",

he replied as once again, he had no idea and he didn't want to make a fool of himself in front of everyone.

Sierra kept screaming and 18-Volt seemed to have felt awkward being there.

Karla: "I've got an idea 18-Volt, why don't you take one of the teddies and go looking for all the other members of Warioware? At about four o'clock, you bring them here and we'll put them in another room so you guys can all see the baby when it arrives".

18-Volt nodded.

Karla: "You went with Lester once, I'll tell him to keep you company".

So I walked over to Lester and tried to get his attention.

Karla (whispering): "Lester".

He seemed too caught up in paying attention to what Sierra was doing.

Karla: "Lester!",

I then yelled and that got his attention", go with 18-Volt.

Lester approached 18-Volt and asked him,

Lester: "What is it?".

18-Volt hesitated as he was trying to think how to best start his sentence.

18-Volt: "She told me to get one of you guys. We're gonna go out and look for the rest of my friends".

Lester: "So they can see the baby?".

18-Volt nodded in return. Lester came to me and asked,

Lester: "Do I need to tell anyone?".

Karla: "Don't worry about it, I think everyone's too busy fussing over Sierra at the moment. I'll tell anyone that asks".

18-Volt then waved at me from where he was standing and he and Lester left to head to the buggies and into the heart of Diamond City".
